hello all, I am back. sorry for not posting for a while. I have been eating like crap the whole month. ice cream, chocolate, pizza, fried chicken, you name it. I sure enjoyed them, but not happy about my buddha belly. lol. Rome is not built in one day, I need to get back on track before it's too late. congrats on all your progress. Joe

I know I hit target, but the plan was to keep going to give myself some wiggle room, and I've been totally textbook on the eating side, but having a bit of a plateau at the moment. It happened once before (March, also for no reason), but normally I've been really steady with the weight loss. Sort of frustrating, but then again I can't complain but then again I will - I don't have any jeans that fit... or trousers, so think i'm still losing size even though the scales aren't complying! Going out to a ball/presentation evening for end of season football awards on Saturday, which isn't super dressy, but I still don't know what to wear (and hate shopping). Hmmm. I'm definitely at that stage in life where I want to be warm enough and comfortable walking around so guessing with all those factors in mind i'll just cobble something low-key together!

ange82much: Thank you...I'm happy to be able to see them again! Have fun at the awards presentation, and congrats on the size-loss NSV!

kfunk: Thank you, and here's to us both hitting our water goals today!!! (As always, pretending those are water bottles...you think that would be an option on a health-related forum, lol.) I'm sorry about tomorrow's DietBet -- that's always a very frustrating feeling -- but I bet you'll be able to smash next week's DB weigh-in out of the park!

nicoley73: I'm glad the scales are moving in the right direction for you again...nice loss!

momtopands: Thank you!

flower1: Thank you! And, I'm glad the water increase is helping you, as well!

Joe: Hey, Joe...nice to see you again! Glad you're back here with us and getting back on track!

-----------------------------------------

Weigh-in was down to 178.8 today, but I did weigh-in about two hours later than usual due to a physical therapy appointment this afternoon (trying to figure out that numbness in the lower leg still), so it could very easily pop back up a bit tomorrow. Hoping that - with exercise and keeping up with the water - it won't bump up too terribly much. Enjoying the number for today, lol. Hope everyone else is having a great afternoon!

kfunk well done you for still being sensible amidst your off-plan eating. I can start asking you for maintenance tips now!

Yesterday we had free lunch at work. I loaded up - it was salad with grilled chicken, rolls and cookies - but that was the only meal i ate yesterday. I did eat four cookies. Now I'm really hungry and a little shaky - I biked to work for the first time today. I'll drink some coffee and see but I may be eating breakfast today (I usually don't eat anything until lunch.)

I just got in my 5K walk today, eating have been good so far. I am trying to get my roof replaced, but it's been raining the whole week. Joe

Well, consistency is good I suppose. Ha. I went out to dinner with some friends last night and had a little more sushi and bites of cheesecake that took me over, but it was worth it. Looking forward to some scale movement over the next couple of days. Not sure if TOM is responsible for this stall or the sodium on Sunday. I've been pretty active this week but characteristically terrible about water intake. I'm going to try and get on the treadmill tonight. I love running but haven't been feeling inspired to go lately. Not sure why. I'm hoping to do a 10k at the end of July and marathon in December, but I really need to get with the plan now to be successful.

nicoley73: Nice drop! I hope you're able to get something to eat so you feel steadier over the course of your day -- I think maybe eating something a little earlier than usual today is probably a good idea!

Joe: Since the beginning of this month, it has been at 12pm! (It was 1pm before then, but I moved my IF window so I could eat a little earlier in the day and with my husband at his usual lunch hour.) I usually wait to weigh-in until right before my first meal of the day instead of first thing in the morning. And, I hope you're able to get your roof replaced soon! Good work on your food and walks.

SnowMama: I'd bet all that extra activity is helping keep TOM at bay, as well as the lower water and sodium on Sunday, so maintaining is a good sign! I hope that means you're set to get a post-TOM whoosh for all your efforts! :

-----------------------------------------

Up just a smidge to 179.0, which is less of a gain than I was expecting. I was a little slower on the water yesterday and didn't end up getting in the full gallon before I was nodding off and had to take myself to bed without finishing it. So, I only got in about 3 liters and weighed in at my normal time today, so only going up 0.2 is a surprise. Hoping that means I will get to move back down again tomorrow after a normal day today!

nicoley I actually ended up winning it, but it could not have been closer! I hear you on the frugal mindset, I would have been so mad at myself if I lost! I think I will start another one in the next week or so. Nice drop!! Great job biking to work! I hope that the shaky feeling subsided after the coffee.

momtopands
- Keeping you and your daughter in my thoughts and prayers.

flower- I am glad that your motivation is coming back! I think mine is too!! Nice drop! How much water did you up it to?

joe Welcome back!!

ange I tend to lose inches when the scale isn't cooperating, maybe that is what is happening to you! I hope that you have a fun time at the ball! Congrats on going down another size! Thank you for your motivation, it means a lot!

ophelia nice drop the other day! I bet you are right that you will see a good drop tomorrow!! I have been struggling on the water intake for the past couple days. I am sick and water just doesn't taste good right now. I ended up winning the diet bet by 2/10 of a lb. I got super lucky!!

snowmama Your dinner out sounded fantastic!! I bet that the same weight is due to TOM and that you will get a nice whoosh soon! I need to get on the treadmill myself!

gardenerjoy nice drop!!

ok, so I made it back to where I was last month so now I will track the rest of the way to my goal the way I normally do.

Hey everyone,

I realize that it's pretty late into the month but hopefully it's not too late to join. I'm currently at 136.6 and ideally would like to get down to 125 for my run in July. However, I'll be perfectly happy with a 2.6 lbs goal for the rest of this month

kfunk congrats for getting back to where you were! Now on to your next monthly goal! And thank you for the continued prayers for my daughter. She's still there and needs to be for now. Good news is that my job has been very proactive and is starting intermittent FMLA so when she gets home if I need to stay with her I can and just use my vacation time. If it's longer than 2 straight weeks I will use my short term disability which is up to 6 months. I'm hoping I won't need to use all that time though.

nicoley Nice whoosh!

snowmama consistent is not up so it's a win!

ophelia great job on keeping your new decade!

Chub Its not at all too late to join this month! Your goal looks great

momtopands Getting FLMA set up is very smart, its nice to hear you have a supportive employer. You are a great mom, your daughter is lucky to have you! I hope that she continues to get the care that she needs until she is ready to come home

I am not expecting this to stick. I am still sick and haven't had an appetite and haven't been able to drink as much water as I would like. I suspect some of the recent whooshes are due to mild dehydration.
