I was on plan yesterday. I know if I could just be consistent I would do so much better! I can barely do a few days in a row. But at least I'm not gaining...

Brilliant to see such an active community around weight loss support/goals and challenges!
How did you all get on with the challenge? I managed to clear 3kg (6 1/2 lbs) this month but stalled out this last week due to a few fun weekends (and a birthday) haha.
I'll head over and introduce myself on another thread soon!
I didn't loose any weight this month. I did the typical up and down on the scale but as of today still at 150. At least it didn't say up for today's weigh in. Hopefully I will do better next month.
Wow, the end of the month has really been a roller coaster (of my own making). Still ended up down 1.4 lbs over the past week, but haven't gotten back to the dehydration weight for real. I didn't bike this past weekend, just got busy doing yard work and house projects, but ended up sore and sunburned anyway. Lol. I golfed in the 95F heat last night and frankly was a little surprised I didn't see a drop this morning, even if it was just fluid. I guess I was good with my water intake.
I won't be making my goal, but I knew going in that it was an overly aggressive goal (10 lbs). 8 lbs per month looks like my comfortable limit (so far).
It's much cooler today than it was yesterday, so maybe I can get on the bike after work. I'm still sore from my irrigation work, but I think I can push through it. Not inspired to run yet - which is very odd for me. I know I'll be much more comfortable running now than 15 lbs ago, but for some reason I'm avoiding it. The mysteries of the human brain...
Great work ange82much, gardenerjoy, and opheliaphoenix! I'm planning on joining you in red next month!
kfunk: That's true! I'd rather have it early in the month and be done with it than have to worry with any end-of-the-month bloating. And, I hope we both kick butt in June!
nicoley73: Just keep choosing to stay on-plan, regardless of whether or not you feel motivated to do so or what the scale tells you, and it will all catch up with you! Fingers crossed that you will get a whoosh if you keep consistent.
WillBoyes: Welcome to 3FC!
gardenerjoy: Thank you, and congrats on hitting your goal, as well!
wanttochange: Here's to no gain this month and to a better month in June!!
SnowMama: Thank you, and I am sure you will smash your goal next month! Have fun on your ride this evening if you're able to make it out!
-----------------------------------------
Down a little to 175.8 today, but not back down to my low yet. Fingers crossed I at least hit that again tomorrow! Got in my gallon of water and more intense exercise for the day yesterday, as well as stayed on the low end of my calorie range, so I'm hoping that - if I do that again today - I will manage to bring it down. Also, my husband is back out for training again for another week and a half, so going to make the most of it, since it is easier to be 110% on track and not snack as much when he is out of the house. (Just trying to find the silver lining to all this away time from each other lately, lol.) I think a strong finish for May and a strong start for June would be a good thing to set the tone for my last month before I go back home on vacation.
Final Days

Yum. Just tried it out for lunch, and had it on a bed of zucchini instead of the rice. It's a teriyaki sauce really and very nice! Haven't calculated out the calories yet......
I'm back, you would think I would learn these challenges keep me in line.
I think I have a little water weight from the weekend, we'll see how it goes. ophelia you're doing great!!
5/1-144.6
5/2-144.5
5/3-143.3
5/16-142.5
5/23-142.1
5/31-142.8 so close to 2 pounds lost, can't complain about that.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day congrats to all, looking forward to the June challenge
Happy May
Nicoley- I hear you when it comes to consistency. You are right that you aren’t gaining, and you even lost some weight, great job!!
Will- Welcome!! I am looking forward to getting to know you next month! 6.5 lbs. is fantastic, great job!! What kind of plan are you following?
Gardenerjoy- Congrats on hitting your goal!!!!
Wantochange- I hear you on the up down, hopefully we will have a great month in June!!
Yangtzer- I am sorry to hear about your binge. What time do you go to bed? I know that it is almost impossible to stop a binge when you are in that mindset, but when you are starting to feel anxious could you try to go to bed earlier instead?
Snowmama- 1.4 down for the past week is awesome!! It sounds like you got plenty of exercise in without taking a bike ride. I have dreams of becoming a runner, someday!! My endurance is AWFUL, always has been, but that can be changed. 15 lbs. down is an amazing accomplishment!!!
Ophelia- I hope that we kick butt too!! Do you know what your goal will be? Nice job on the trifecta yesterday, I hope you see the payoff on the scale today! I am going to challenge myself to get a gallon of water in today; I have been slacking in that regard.
Ange- I am glad that you liked it!!
Kelijpa- congrats on your loss this month!!
While I did not meet my goal, I am happy with how the month finished. It had the potential for disaster, but I am feeling very strong and haven't binged in a while. A no binge June will be my main focus and I am sure that will come with good results on the scale!
Oh sure, I was just going to do a quick post, so I composed it on the site instead of word and of course, I lost it.
Short version: I got on the treadmill last night and I didn't die.
Final Days

April 30th weigh-in: 178.2

Ange82much Zucchini in lieu of pasta and rice is my favorite. I even managed to get my 10 year old hooked on zoodles. How excited were you to update your stats to show your current weight at your goal?! So awesome.
Kfunk6113 No binge June is an excellent goal. Feeling strong and happy with your progress is sometimes just as needed as numbers on the scale. Thanks for sharing, I’m super happy for you.
Nicoley73 A loss is a loss. Almost a lb a week is good progress. Hope you have another strong first week in June.
Yangtzer I’m with kfunk on the going to bed when you’re bored and having cravings. During the first couple of weeks I definitely employed this method with success. I also tried to tackle projects. Something that would distract me. Let me tell you, the grout in my kitchen never looked so good.
Ophelia It’s so much easier (for me at least) to stay on plan when I don’t have to worry about anyone else’s food choices. Most of my off plan was as a result of someone else’s dinner choices. Even though I love them and want to spend time with them. Anyway, sorry you’re doing the single mom thing for another week and a half stretch, but I like that you’re looking for silver linings. My brother was air force and I know his wife definitely had to put on her Wonder Woman pants when he was away. Lol. See you on the June thread!

Reason: Oops, went May 1 to May 31 instead of April 30 to May 31.
