SantaClaritaDiet: Yeah, I learned pretty quickly that I'd rather eat any extra calories I earned than drink them, save for a special occasion here and there...lol. Still a nice treat every once in awhile, though!
Weigh-in was down a little to 194.2 today. I went about 175 calories past my range last night on purpose to see if I could up the numbers a bit and still lose, but I also ended up being low on water again, so I'm not sure if I'm just a little dehydrated or if my body is liking the adjustment just yet. I'm going to make it a point to get in my full gallon of water today to see if I bounce back up tomorrow when I'm properly hydrated. I will keep my cals at the top of my range today, as well, just to stay consistent to see if the water goal effects anything. Other than that, I got in a good walk last night, but was hit with some unexpected wind chill coming off the mountain once I got out of our neighborhood...definitely going to bundle up a bit more this evening, because I was so cold I was numb by the time I got back last night, lol.
(I really shouldn't complain though, since at least I'm not dealing with snow and negative temps like some people are right now! I just don't handle the cold very well anymore after living in the South for 5 years! )

Stick with it Joe - you know that food's not 'free' as far as your weight-loss targets go hahaha Good you're still checking in. Good luck resisting stuff the rest of your trip ophelia I work in metric, but a gallon of water sounds heaps!!! Is that your normal thing? Tough to get through in the cold weather I should think.
I'm down again today. Love whooshes. Hate paying for them after.
oephelia: nice job on your loss so far this week Thanks for the info on inserting images. One more question, can you please tell me which website I should go to find the little images.
During the month of February, the Black Women Losing Weight sisterhood will focus on Food Journaling to answer a very important question: What are you REALLY eating?
Challenge Goal: Keep a journal of EVERYTHING you eat and drink for 3 WEEKS – Feb 1 – 21, 2018. This is a very powerful, self-guided challenge that requires daily action.

I've always regained my weight when I got to goal, so am really going to work at getting my mind right for this. My personal goal is to see 143 (normal bmi for my height) at least once on my scale. the focus now is on staying healthy and staying at a healthy weight for me.
I got a nice little whoosh! I'm excited. I've been drinking more water, so I think that has helped. Plus, I got off my but and exercised yesterday morning. Now to keep the process going!
SlimmerMe and kelijpa you are so close to your goals! Keep up the good work, you can master your mind!
Opheliaphoenix I am so impressed with your losses even through TOM! Gives me hope as mine should be showing up soon! Nice job staying on track!
yangtzer It's 70's here as well. Take advantage of it and do something outside!
ange82much Congrats on the whoosh! Those feel so good!
SantaClaritaDiet Nice job working out and increasing your water! Now that you've started you can keep that momentum going! Congrats on your loss today!
Moving toward my goal, not sure i'll make it but i'm going to push on! Yesterday the treacherous girl scout cookie season started and my daughter(and I) are scheduled to work booths for the next 3 weeks. I'm accustomed to buying 2-3 cases(yes, I said cases) of cookies every year. I didn't eat any yet but I will have to donate the $ to her total so I won't eat that case of tagalongs that I normally do. One box, no more.

Joe: That's definitely a LOT of temptation to deal with...continue to do your best with it, and try to get in some extra activity/movement whenever you can to offset any unexpected extra calories you may be taking in, just to mitigate the damage if there's going to be any. Good luck!
ange82much: My bottle is 2.2 liters, so drinking two of those is 4.4 liters (just over 1 US gallon.)...the 4.4 liters is my goal, but I've been struggling to get in just the 2.2 liters a day for the past week or so. It has been colder here, so I agree that I think that makes me less thirsty. Despite that, I'm still working at it every day to get in as much as I can! And, I'm glad your whoosh didn't come back and bite you afterwards!
flower1: Thank you! And, If you're wanting to find random images to add, you can use images.google.com to look up lots of different things and get the URLs from there. If you're wanting to add things saved from your own computer, you can use places like tinypic.com to upload your images to get a URL for them to input. Let me know if that helps!
movethrive: Welcome to 3FC! And, I think that's great that there is a challenge out there urging people to journal their food to get a reality check on what they are really consuming...I think it's both very eye-opening and vital to success!
kelijpa: Good morning to you, too!
SantaClaritaDiet: Nice whoosh!
momtopands: TOM was mean to me last month, so I think maybe it was taking it easier on me this time around...thankful for that! Haha. I hope yours goes easy on you this time around, as well. And, awesome loss this week -- great job!
Weigh-in was 194.0 today, which means I lost 2.6 lbs for Week Three. Since we are now going into the final week of February, I know that - unless some major whooshing happens between now and then - I will definitely not be hitting my goal for the month, because I still have almost 5 lbs left. That being said, I am thankful that TOM was kind to me this week...it could have been a lot worse! I'm going to do my best going into our final week to make as much progress as possible and am wishing everyone a strong week this coming week, as well!

Hi All. So yesterday was the first time since January 1 that I didn't weight myself. I've decided I need a mini vacation from the scale as I was starting to get frustrated by the clear lack of progress. So the scale and I mutually decided to separate for a bit so I can get my head back on straight. Thinking of making the break the rest of the month.
