Slimmer Me, kelijpa, & SantaClaritaDiet: Thank you! It bounced back up today, but hopefully that is just a momentary bump...it still feels great to have seen that milestone reached, even if only for a day, lol.
Kim: I feel you! I feel like I have been fighting with each individual pound range this month, lol. Glad your scale is moving back down again, though!

And, just like that, the scale is reading over a pound up from yesterday. The only reason I can think of is being super low on water yesterday, so maybe it's holding on to some bloat? No clue. My period will be starting soon, but that is days away. Karma for being so excited yesterday? Whatever it is, hopefully I will be able to show some kind of loss for the week tomorrow, because - with my cycle starting again sometime in the next few days- I'm not looking forward to back-to-back slow weeks.

I have been awful at my diet this month. With the 5:2 the aim is to have 2 days a week that are 500 cals. The lowest I have done is 800. Egads! But I have been trying to keep it to the 1200 mark and have only had 4 days that were over (Friday's was over 2000 but we partied with friends that were leaving the Island....). I will try harder on Thurs and get myself back into the groove.
And to boot, I haven't worked out at night for 3 days. I have done a lot of walking but no workouts. I'm getting into bad habits again.
But when I weighed myself the other day it was 149 and it's been there for a few days now. I haven't seen that number in about 5 years. I am so happy and I feel good. But I need to get my diet back on track and add the workouts.

Went back down to 196.6 today, so at least I am showing a 1.2 lb loss for the Week Two. February isn't shaping up to be a very solid month, but progress is progress...hopefully, I can figure out what the issue is and make up some distance in the last two weeks. I just hope TOM will be kind to me this time around when it starts, lol.

Just realised that technically i'm at my goal weight for the month already, but lets wait and see what the bouncing at the end of the drop does for a few days before I claim it!

As predicted, some bouncing is happening!
First 2 weeks have been slower which I did expect but i'm still down from the start so I am not too unhappy! I have decided to participate in a 1K/5K fundraising walk/run in April. My kids are joining me. I am only walking but my kids want to run so i'm excited about that. Hope to add some walking to my workouts!
