Let's show our bodies some love in February with exercise!
State your exercise goal and track it throughout the month with this supportive group of fellow exercisers. We'll compile our workout goals into a list. As each goal is met during the month, it gets turned RED in celebration.
My February goal will be 850 minutes of intentional exercise. (short month! LOL)
1Feb: 40 bike; 10 more bike
3Feb: 15 walk
4Feb: 10 bike, 22 bike, 30 walk
6Feb: 40 min walk
8Feb: 10 min walk
11Feb: 20 min walk; 22 min CS; 36 min bike
12Feb: 10 bike; 35 walk
16Feb: 30 walk
18Feb: 25 min bike
23Feb: 35 min walk
24Feb: 35 min walk
I already do a mile on the treadmill m-f along with other exercises and resistance training every other day m-f. So my challenge for February is to step up my game on the treadmill by increasing to a fast run for 30 seconds every 4 minutes.
2/1 did 3 sets of my 30 second running and cut my mile to 15 and 1/2 mins
2/2 did 3 sets of 30 second run during mile walk...feeling great!
2/3 my 3 sets of 30 second running!
2/4 did 1 min of fast run during 2 1/2 mile walk in neighborhood
2/5 did 3 sets of 30 sec running during mile walk
2/6 only did 2 sets of 30 second running in my mile this morning
2/7 no running, only walked mile on treadmill
2/8 no running, just walked the mile
2/9 skipped the treadmill this morning
2/10-2/15 have been off track for several days. exercised 2 out of 5 days and did not run. hoping to get back on track in the morning
02/24 finally back at it. been in a funk for a couple weeks. 1 mile on treadmill, no running
Hi all, After restarting my weight loss journey last month, it is time to add in some exercise and hold myself accountable. I would like to achieve an average of an hour of activity a day for the month. This can include walking to work and other general walking, house work (if it is intensively done), strength workouts etc. I can carry over extra minutes from an active day to make up for less active ones, but will use this challenge to spur me on to move more every day.
EDIT: SO my original plan seems hard to track after just one day.... Instead I am going to use my S Health active minutes time each day an aim for an average of 90 minutes a day. I will also record actual exercise I do each day in prep for an exercise proper goal next month.
GOAL = Total active minutes in February 2017: 28 x 90 = 2520 mins

Thank you gardenerjoy for getting us set up for this month!
I am going to go for 600 minutes of dedicated exercise - for me, that is a youtube workout, or one of my dvd's. When I shovel snow, I will add it, but will determine the intensity and adjust the minutes.
My goal is 600 minutes of HIIT on my spinbike and 480 minutes of an alternate exercise for the weekends! So a total of 1080 for the month!
1 30 min of HIIT

Reason: Update
I'm new to exercising actually intentionally daily. I'm glad to be able to rely on you guys to keep my butt moving! I've been going to the workout room in my apartment building.
I'm new but I'd love to do this challenge too! I'm committing to 1200 minutes this month of any purposeful exercise. I have a pretty tough goal for April so I need to work hard to get there. I'm doing cardio with intervals on a free stride trainer and adding some free weights for upper body tomorrow.
