hi i will join.
My goal is to loose 2 lbs by the end of July. My goal is to do 20 min on treadmill a day but in reality I do about an hour and end up with 4 miles a day on treadmill. i stopped drinking soda. I watch my portions and what i eat. I have been stuck with 194lbs for couple of weeks now... now: 194 goal: 192 |
I am happy to be maintaining today. :cp: I overdid it at the gym yesterday and knew I'd be holding water. I'm glad it isn't more! Incredibly, I am still extremely sore even tonight! :eek: It will be interesting to see what tomorrow brings!

Jacqui I think it's post TOM whoosh...on steroids. My hormones are so out of whack! After a two week, double visit from TOM, my hormones have really switched gears big time. I feel like I have a lot more energy, even though I'm still struggling with fatigue from my B12 problem. I'm not even entirely sure how that works but my mind is a lot happier and more hyper even if my body is exhausted. And, TMI, a little more randy which the BF certainly isn't complaining about. So I definitely think all of this is crazy hormones but I will take it. This version is a lot more fun than the energy-sucking, craving-inducing, TOM-giving hormones!!!!

I'm not doing very well this month. I was out of town for 5 days and that set me back 2.4 Lbs. I just got back to my weight I was 2 week's ago but -.2 lbs less. I hope to at least get to Onderland this month! Good Luck, Everyone! :cry: |
Goodness gracious, it just keeps dropping! I need to try on some old jeans, my current ones are feeling a little loose. But last week when I tried on an old pair they fit fine around the waist but they looked too tight around my thighs and calves. That seems to be where I'm holding on to a lot of my weight.

I'm up today but I'm also severely dehydrated. I haven't been drinking enough recently to compensate for the heat we've been having and the extreme AC I deal with at work. But that's my focus today is to get plenty of water in me.

I won't make my 2nd goal as struggling to eat anything at the moment. i'm still on Slimming world plan but scale is not moving. I'm happy to finish with 10lb loss for the month though that's what I aimed for an am chuffed. Hoping the antibiotics sort my tooth out soon (day three of them now) as still in a lot of pain, but will keep pushing forward and hope for more losses soon :) |

Still dehydrated, hard to drink a lot while at work but I didn't do too bad yesterday. But I know I'm dehydrated when I slam a couple large glasses of water and don't have to pee in the next 20 minutes. But I plan to drink a lot today as week.

My sister was gorgeous and my new bil is so sweet! I am so very happy for them. They are currently on their honeymoon and I am now jealous of them. LOL ;) I managed to get every single workout in while being gone for a month and I lost a total of 9 lbs while I was away (as of yesterday). I am also down a pant size!!! The hardest part of this journey, besides having to do it ;), was how agonizingly slow dropping clothing sizes has been. I know it's because I was pushing the very limits of the seams of my biggest sizes, but still...it hurt to be down 20, 30, 40 lbs without seeing the next size down. Finally 60 lbs in and I am down a solid two sizes. Whew! I am looking forward to finishing out this month and getting a fresh start next month. I have one more vacation at the end of next month, but it's only for a week and if I can do a month and lose, I can do a week in my sleep. ;) Okay ladies, I am officially all caught up! Back from vacation and it was not fun in the holding water weight department. I was gaining at least a pound a day EVEN WHEN I KNEW I was eating right. I stopped weighing myself halfway through and weighed myself this morning - 24 hours after getting home. I can pack on water/glycogen weight like nobody's business! So, I'm hoping to pee it off these next few days. I had "some" true gain, for sure, but not THAT much!

Jacqui You're scale looks like it's whooshing, especially considering it's post carb day. You just might hit that goal! And even if you don't, you're still doing incredible. ----------------- This weekend it was slow at work so my fiance and I discussed wedding details and got most of the heavy lifting done. We both really don't like the idea of having the ceremony as part of the wedding, we want it more private and intimate, so we decided we'll do a courthouse wedding (immediate family only) and then a separate reception (close friends and extended relatives). We even picked our venue and we have an appointment set next week to decide if it's a fit for us and if that goes well we'll set the date. So much stress is off my plate now that we have a lot of things ironed out. I kept looking on pinterest for wedding ideas and I felt so overwhelmed. None of it reflected what I really wanted. I also don't like the idea of spending what is nearly equal to a house down payment on wedding. Granted, the venue we're looking at isn't cheap, but they are also all inclusive with bar and catering, and then a courthouse marriage is super cheap. Spent yesterday putzing around the house, went to see a friend for a couple of hours, grilled and ate a very yummy dinner and then went with the same friend and her family for ice cream--yes, ice cream! I was able to resist it while in CA, but decided that I could have a soft serve and be well within my calories. But...when I got there, I realized I had a TON of calories left and went for a small peanut butter cup razzle (it's a Blizzard ;) ). It was heaven in a cup, but man oh man was I full afterwards! Ugh! I can't believe I used to eat LARGE Blizzards and pints of Ben & Jerry's without blinking back in the day! It actually felt good to feel so full (and a little miserable ;) LOL). It reminded me why I started this journey again and why I need to stick to it. However, eating it was a bit freeing. Last time I lost the weight I was so rigid and hardly every strayed off course. It made maintaining so much harder and when I fell off the wagon...I fell hard. So, I need to practice moderation. That will be the last Razzle for a long while and I am back on track this morning and all is well. :) Well ladies, I need to finish my coffee and hit the showers! We need to hit the library and then come home and figure out what to do for dinner. :) Have a fantastic day and be sure to keep hydrated! It's going to be hot out there! |

It works great when things are going well (I hit a new low for the year earlier in the month). Even better, it works great when things aren't going well. My normal pattern when I go off plan is to quit posting for a week or two (or six). I went off the rails for a week or so this month, but I kept posting! Without that, my bad days would have been much worse and it would have taken longer to get back to a 100% On Plan day. So, I'm declaring posting every day to be a successful strategy for weight loss and maintenance! |
