Wow! What a great group! I'll make our initial goal list tomorrow -- so there's still plenty of time to join us.

I've been struggling to get myself to do anything healthy (except exercise -- at least that keeps rolling along). So, I'm going to make a small goal that still feels like a challenge to me right now -- post somewhere on 3FC every day in July. I posted on the June Exercise Challenge yesterday and, look, I just posted here!

What a great idea! It is so true that just being here everyday, whether posting or just reading, keeps your awareness up. I've made it a point to at least read some of the new posts on a daily basis, just for that reason. Happy Independence Day to you!

Chiming in late as I'm on vacation still...

June was a great roller coaster of a month but I met my goals, so yay!!

Since I'm still on vacation and I'll be spending around five days in a car at the end of the month, I'm going to keep my goal modest and shoot for another 5 pounds which will put me into Onederland! I would love to shoot for 10, but...I have my sister's wedding and a cross country drive...so yeah, 5 lbs this month. I'll set a new goal if I meet the first one.

LovelyLeah thanks! It feels good to be back! I took the MCAT two weeks ago. I don't really know how they went, it's really hard to tell because the questions are all ambiguous multiple choice. I'll get a preliminary score hopefully by the end of next week, and then my final score towards the end of the month. I'll keep you posted!

I am struggling to eat my usual calories. I am coming in at far below and I think that's why I had the jump today. TOM is just about outta here so I should have a little whoosh, but a gain? Grr...
Anyway...tonight is girls' night with my childhood bestie! Movie, dinner and a drink or two, I will be good. No popcorn, healthy dinner...maybe more drinks the necessary, ;) but I'll keep it under control. :D

Worked round my 'Friday night pudding' whereby our family have a big pudding. Had sugar free jelly with rhubarb and strawberries from the garden baked with sweetener instead of sugar. It was lovely! :) So chuffed I still lost weight.

The water weight is taking me longer than I thought to get off...I think I haven't been drinking enough so I'm probably retaining water from that as well as lots of sodium yesterday.

Tonight I'm going to see fireworks for the 4th, and there will probably be lots of bad, fried things there as well. I'm trying to be really good this morning and afternoon, so if I do get something (which I'm planning on not getting anything, but...) I won't undo the whole day and I'll stay within my calories and get all my good nutrients in at least. Good luck to everyone this weekend at barbecues and other events!

My body has just been raging against me lately. B12 deficiency plus TOM equals zombie Leah. I have no energy and no appetite (the left over cake, ice cream, and garlic bread in the fridge isn't even appealing which is saying something). But I'm pushing through and make myself eat enough. Secretly I wish I could just take advantage of not wanting food and skip eating but that's not going to help my energy and it's not a healthy weight loss strategy. Poo...

Normally, I weigh first thing in the morning. This morning as I was preparing for a family get-together to celebrate Independence Day, I forgot and by the time I did weigh, I was up a lb. But guaranteed tomorrow I will be up a WHOLE lot more because today was my Carb Day and, oh my, did I eat some carbs! :hungry: I hope everyone celebrating had a nice 4th of July today! :flow1:
