I've been struggling to get myself to do anything healthy (except exercise -- at least that keeps rolling along). So, I'm going to make a small goal that still feels like a challenge to me right now -- post somewhere on 3FC every day in July. Chiming in late as I'm on vacation still...
Thank you GardenerJoy for keeping these posts going!! :) June was a great roller coaster of a month but I met my goals, so yay!! Since I'm still on vacation and I'll be spending around five days in a car at the end of the month, I'm going to keep my goal modest and shoot for another 5 pounds which will put me into Onederland! I would love to shoot for 10, but...I have my sister's wedding and a cross country drive...so yeah, 5 lbs this month. I'll set a new goal if I meet the first one. Here's to a great month ladies!!! There is a one minutes silence in the UK today due to the ISIS shooting in Tunisia. Certainly brings it home how short life can be, and while we're trying change ourselves physically and improve our health we should make the most of every day. |

LovelyLeah thanks! It feels good to be back! I took the MCAT two weeks ago. I don't really know how they went, it's really hard to tell because the questions are all ambiguous multiple choice. I'll get a preliminary score hopefully by the end of next week, and then my final score towards the end of the month. I'll keep you posted! |

magistra ~ I was surprised to see the drop, but I'm prepping myself for a jump when I get back home to my own scale. My mom's is accurate, but still, I live with my scale so that's what I go by. Lol

Had sugar free jelly with rhubarb and strawberries from the garden baked with sweetener instead of sugar. It was lovely! :) So chuffed I still lost weight. |

7/2: 178.6 7/3: 178.4 7/4: 178.8 The water weight is taking me longer than I thought to get off...I think I haven't been drinking enough so I'm probably retaining water from that as well as lots of sodium yesterday. Tonight I'm going to see fireworks for the 4th, and there will probably be lots of bad, fried things there as well. I'm trying to be really good this morning and afternoon, so if I do get something (which I'm planning on not getting anything, but...) I won't undo the whole day and I'll stay within my calories and get all my good nutrients in at least. Good luck to everyone this weekend at barbecues and other events! |
My body has just been raging against me lately. B12 deficiency plus TOM equals zombie Leah. I have no energy and no appetite (the left over cake, ice cream, and garlic bread in the fridge isn't even appealing which is saying something). But I'm pushing through and make myself eat enough. Secretly I wish I could just take advantage of not wanting food and skip eating but that's not going to help my energy and it's not a healthy weight loss strategy. Poo...

Normally, I weigh first thing in the morning. This morning as I was preparing for a family get-together to celebrate Independence Day, I forgot and by the time I did weigh, I was up a lb. But guaranteed tomorrow I will be up a WHOLE lot more because today was my Carb Day and, oh my, did I eat some carbs! :hungry: I hope everyone celebrating had a nice 4th of July today! :flow1:
