Jacqui I hate when your scale seems to sense your goals and then decides to be mean. You're going to make it soon enough. Remember how stubborn Onederland was, but you made it.

Today is a lazy day. I'm feeling under the weather again. Just a couple more weeks until I can start getting my B12 shots and hopefully I'll start feeling better. I think I used what little energy my body has these past few days helping to set up the store that my body just doesn't have any left. That and TOM round 2 doesn't help either. But I'm going to curl up in bed, recoup my energy, and relax.

Happy Thursday Chicks.

Well I am having a hard time readjusting from vacation. I was really bummed about being laid off in the manner I was especially seeing as we have a lot of wedding expenses that will be paid soon. Then TOM came Sunday and this week as just been crazy. So, I have been job hunting and trying to catch up on things around the house while I have time and doing a lot of thinking. So as berryblondes calls it, I'm rebooting this journey and doing it with a bang to. I'm so far behind with personals, I'd be sitting here for the day trying to catch up. Really proud of you guys though. Everyone is doing an amazing job! In any case, I gotta get off here and get to work. I have cardio to get in and I am going to tackle my desk area today. Since I'm no longer working from home, I figure I can try reorganize this mess. So, I'm gonna get to it. I sure hope you guys have an amazing day.

Oh and :congrat: on getting to ONEDERLAND sandye. :cheer: :cheer: I can't wait to join ya. You have done an amazing job kiddo. So freakin proud of you.

Wow! I just realized that July is half over. How did that happen? My weight has basically stayed the same all month. I guess I'm maintaining? I need to give my metabolism a jolt. I'll give that some thought today. I have a long list of critical things that I have to get done this summer. I think I'll write it all down and check-mark things off as I get them done. I'm going to call it "my distasteful task list."

Delphi Good luck on your reboot! You can do it! :cheer3: I hope you have fun tackling your desk. Reorganizing is one of my favorite things to do. I have been having a blast cleaning out my closets this week. I love purging junk from the house. It gives me the feeling of a fresh start.

SusieKay, the first post on this thread tells specifically what I'm doing: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/othe...e-dieting.html. I'm amazed at how well this diet works with my taking a Carb Day each week, but it does! And I hear you on worrying about getting back on track, but I figure if my diet is lenient enough to allow me to have one day every single week in which I can eat anything I want, the least I can do is stick to that! Sometimes if I do go "all out" on Carb Day, I may have to do serious battle with cravings the next day, but I figure that's better than the battle I was having to do with them EVERY DAY before I discovered this diet! :yes:

LovelyLeah ~ Sorry you are feeling a bit blah. Sure hope it gets better for you. I've been out of the loop for a few weeks, but was curious how you were adjusting to the job? Well reboot day 2 here folks and all is well. I'm back in action. Yesterday was one monster of a day. I did get my whole living room/office reorganized, cleaned and rearranged to be more efficient as well. The only draw back is I'm typing this on a 55 inch TV instead of my 20 inch monitor I usually have on my desk. I feel like I'm in a sci-fi movie typing like this. :lol: In any case, was down a few pounds this morning which I am assuming is from TOM's departure, but I'll take it. Well I gotta run and pick up my son from cross country practice and then I have a phone interview/screening at 9 about a job. Then perhaps my cardio, cardio, cardio. You folks have an amazing day and remember to smile.

It's been a long week for me, filling in for another manager on a afternoon shift. So glad today is the last day. I've done really well this week with my water intake and also not eating anything after 5pm. It felt good not to eat after 5, but I think I'm done with that after today lol. It was a nice experiment for me :)

Delphi I've been doing good and you're right we have to enjoy this warm weather before it's gone. The winters here in Michigan are terrible lol. So I'm enjoying it.

Delphi My new job is actually an old job. It's a Christmas store so it's open about 6 months out of the year. I know it's early, I work at Mall of America so we rely on summer tourism for sales and it's actually one of our best times since most of our customers are international. We die down in September and October but pick up again after Halloween. This is my third year working there and it's like home. I wish it was a permanent store so badly! My owners are my work mom and aunts, this store is where I met my fiance, and they treat me great. When she heard that my other job was treating me really bad and even, once, asked me to perform wage theft on myself she told me that if I quit and came back to her she would give me full time hours and a raise. It's such a relief working back there! The only problem is I'll need to find another job come January. But at least this gives me time to look. Speaking of, I'm so sorry to hear that you were laid off. Was it completely unexpected or were there things in the company leading up to it. I'm really hoping that you can find a new one soon. That's rough!

I have lost 25 lbs total now! Got to add a new little cheerleader in my signature, lol! :cheer3: I had really thought weight loss wasn't as fun this time around since I've hit all these weights before, but it kind of is, maybe because there's no pressure on me this time like there was last time with my daughter's wedding looming. Jacqui Great job staying consistent before carb day!

Today is our first day open at work. I'm ready for everyone yelling into the store "it's too early!!" I politely holler back "I still get paid!" Oh the joys of working at a Christmas store in July. :D It's even more funny to photobomb their selfies. I make a sport of it. I can always tell when they're making a snapchat vid of themselves exclaiming how it's too early for Christmas so I'll sneak into the background and shake my head at them. It gives me a sense of pride.

I have to remind myself that I'm not plateauing when I weigh myself daily. When the scale doesn't move for 3 days my first thought is uh-oh, plateau! I have to remind myself I am still losing each week, and I'm having big drops but then my weight stabilizes before dropping again. That's far from being a real plateau. I just need to remember the big picture. That's why I made myself a weekly weight loss grid (I'm a graph nerd!). Here's a link to a crappy cell phone picture of it. On the left is weight loss, on the bottom is weekly dates spanning a year, the straight diagonal green line is projected weigh loss of 65 pounds in a year, the black dots and lines is actual weight loss, and the yellow highlighted lines are BMI milestones. This is my tangible "big picture."

LovelyLeah - I know the feeling when the scale doesn't move, I think the worst too.. but staying strong and having faith in what we're eating is key.

I avoided Pizza, cupcakes, sweets and chocolate at a childrens party this afternoon - so hard as it was in abundance and adults eating as well as children. Proud of myself for making it through even with my own children tempting me. lol

I started at 159 lbs.... I was down to 156 3 days ago and today I am 158.... GGGRRR.... My goal is to lose 20 lbs. am trying to stick to the 21 day fix plan, using the containers. I was doing well but I blew it this weekend.

Anyway, I need support!!!! Thanks!

I am really late to the July party but I'm jumping in anyway :) My goal for the month is to see my scale say 304 - anything above that shows E... I was at 316 in the beginning of June (checked on my sister's scale while visiting there). I was on vacation/at a conference in Milan Italy for the past two weeks and while there lost some weight (I can feel it in how my clothes fit and my rings are looser). I think on the trip we walked miles and miles every day, ate only at mealtimes (and several of those were small meals - light breakfasts and some days we packed light lunches - and virtually zero extra snacking, and sweat buckets each day in the heat and humidity!). So the rest of the month I am going to continue with the progress I made while away and hope to break the error message on my scale!
