Some of the water weight is coming off, yay! But I still feel really bloated so hopefully there's still some more to come off yet. Also I've found that caffeine has actually been helping my energy levels a lot. I know that's a no-brainer for a lot of people but caffeine has rarely given me a boost in the past so it's nice to have something help out a bit. It'll also help flush out this excess water too!

Boy, am I glad that long holiday weekend out of town is over! SO hard to stick with the diet. For the most part, I did okay. Drank a few beers, which is definitely a no-no for me. Weigh in is tomorrow morning...we'll see how much damage I did. Nice to be back in the routine today. Hope everyone had a fun time!

Well, I'm not doing very well at the moment - SW - 180 GW - 173 6/7 - 181.8 We've just got back from being on holiday, and I did really well the first half of the week, but gave in to temptation in the second half. I'm hoping at least some of it is water weight, but it might just be apple-crumble-and-custard weight!! Oh well, keep on keeping on, new day and all that. Xx |

Good morning ladies! Checking in on my phone and I can't wait to get back home and onto my computer and start doing personals again! GNO was fun, low key, but I managed to drink an entire bottle of wine. Whoa! Oddly enough, despite only three hours of sleep, that bottle of wine the night before and having a Three Muskteers, I had the best run since January the next day! Lol not sure how that happened. Been staying busy while on vacation, although not particularly active other than my workouts. I have been sewing and painting and crafting for my sister's wedding and it's exhausting! I am just not cut out for marathon sewing and crafting anymore.
Well girls, I hope everyone is having a great morning! Be sure to get put there and keep moving and DRINK YOUR WATER! Next time I write you, I'll have some new ink!! Great day so far. Immediately after getting ready this morning I actually went out and ran my errands right away. I even went clothes shopping and the biggest NSV of all...NO FITTING ROOM MELTDOWNS!!! I didn't buy anything, but that was more because they either weren't the price I wanted or didn't have the styles I was looking for. And then another big NSV because when I was done I was starving but still had grocery shopping to do. I stuck to everything on my list and only strayed on a couple of items but they weren't unhealthy items, just on sale.

One week check in. Well, the water weight is coming off. I had an uptick on the scale at the end of last month, so 2 of the pounds are pounds that I had already lost and then gained with my weird pattern of my menstrual cycle (gaining and holding water for 2 weeks of my cycle near ovulation).
So, you will probably see LOTS of losses for another week, and then I'll hold steady (mostly) for the remaining two weeks - if my same pattern holds! One week after the beginning of the challenge: I'm doing fine. Had TOM this first week, but I managed to drop 2 lbs.
Sine my month is going to be tom-less I can really focus on the remaining 9 lbs for the month. |

There is something nice about being on the lower half of the 190s. Whenever I reach a 4.5 I find it satisfying because it means I'm that much closer to being down under another 10.

Still plugging along, had some tacos yesterday from one of my favorite places and was disappointed. They didn't taste nearly as good as I remember.
