Checking in from my phone. It's not working so well because the service in my BF's basement is awful! When I'm at an actual computer I'll update this with my usual weight loss process format.
TOM has come and is finally (hopefully) gone. Weight has been fluctuating quite a bit. Back up to 232 some days
Trying to stay on track but it's a bit discouraging. I don't think its possible to hit goal for this month, but I'm gonna keep on truckin.
Congrats to those who have made goal. Way to go!

After a long slow start, my scale seems to be picking up speed. So weird . . .
Just a really quick check in and say that I'm super motivated today. I've been staying on plan perfectly for the past two weeks. I haven't been eating after 5 p.m. and have increased my water in-take.
Hope everyone has a great day, it's almost TGIF

lovemylife001 ~ I'm so proud of you. You have really taken dedication to the next level. You should be over the moon. Enjoy your beautiful weather today. Let it motivate and inspire you.
magistra17 ~ Full steam ahead. Our bodies are so weird. They basically just do whatever they please and we are just along for the ride. Glad you are seeing that downward trend pick up. Looks good on you.
sizzlingina ~ Goals are great. We set them here every month trying to achieve them. We work hard for them. Sometimes we hit them and sometimes we do not. It is the motivating factor of obtaining said goal that is key. I kinda look at my monthly goal more as a guideline of progress to my ultimate goal. So be proud of all the progress you have made while you are steaming ahead.
PurpleJ ~ on hitting GOAL!!!! You did very well this month. You will be in Onderland before you know it.

So, thanks everyone for the congrats on the new job. Of course it is all contingent on all my paperwork going through. In any case, weight loss. I am trending back down and getting close to pre-vacation weight (ticker weight), so I'm excited about that. Plus with the new job starting the 10th of August, I will need to try to push myself as I have "outgrown" my "professional" attire. All my work pants are 12-14 and I am an 18 now. Sooo, don't know. I will have to figure something out. Also, its getting about time to finally buy a wedding dress...urg. I told my husband to be that, we will just have to go ahead and make the purchase, get it ordered and if we have to spend more money than budgeted for alterations, then so be it. I can't be without a dress on my wedding day and most places I have spoken with stated it can be anywhere from 4-6 months after you order and get sized, before you get your dress back. Grrrreat! Not really excited about trying on dresses at this size because I just will not feel comfortable. At any rate, I digress. Weight loss, good. Life, good. Wedding shopping, not so good. So on and so forth..
Alright ladies, you have a wonderful day. I think I am going to go walk 5 miles.
Delphi I don't even want to think about wedding dress shopping. My fiance and I have been talking about getting married sooner then we originally planned (next year vs waiting 2 years) because our original reason for waiting (graduating) is on hold for now. So that means I need to really think about wedding plans instead of just simply wishing and dreaming. You've made excellent progress so far so don't get too discouraged. From what some friends have told me, just let the salesperson/fitting-person know that you are currently losing weight. They are pretty used to hearing that. But don't let them discourage you either, I had one friend who said the woman was just rude about it. She told her that all brides want to lose weight before their wedding but very few actually make their goals so there was no point in buying a smaller size because she'd never fit it. There is truth that it's easier to take a dress in than it is to expand it but go in knowing that some people just don't know how to phrase that advise kindly.
hi i will join.
My goal is to loose 2 lbs by the end of July. My goal is to do 20 min on treadmill a day but in reality I do about an hour and end up with 4 miles a day on treadmill. i stopped drinking soda. I watch my portions and what i eat. I have been stuck with 194lbs for couple of weeks now...
now: 194
goal: 192

I am happy to be maintaining today. I overdid it at the gym yesterday and knew I'd be holding water. I'm glad it isn't more! Incredibly, I am still extremely sore even tonight! It will be interesting to see what tomorrow brings!
Delphi, have fun dress shopping! You are going to be a lovely bride!
Leah, okay, what magic elixir are you taking to keep that scale moving down?! You're amazing! How exciting that you may be moving your wedding up! You are going to be a gorgeous bride too! Speaking of wedding dress sizes, my daughter bought a size down from what the saleperson recommended, and even though she didn't lose all the weight she intended to, it fit beautifully! I think sometimes you just have to go with what you feel, even if the "expert" disagrees.
Keli, don't get discouraged! Look at how far you've come and you're going to keep going! I only wish I were in the 170's like you!
Lovemylife, lol, thanks! And great job! Keep it up!
Magistra, thank you and congrats on that scale moving! Fantastic!
Sizzlingina, it's fun to hit the monthly goals but that's just it: They're for fun. The important thing is the big picture and you are doing great! Keep going!
SusieKay, thanks, and way to go! Ohh, that hot, humid Nashville weather! I'm glad I won't be coming back home to visit again until October, lol!
Pigeon, thank you, and good job yourself!
Purple, thank you! I'm still hoping to make goal like somebody I know, lol!!
Joy, looking good! You'll definitely be making goal!
Jacqui I think it's post TOM whoosh...on steroids. My hormones are so out of whack! After a two week, double visit from TOM, my hormones have really switched gears big time. I feel like I have a lot more energy, even though I'm still struggling with fatigue from my B12 problem. I'm not even entirely sure how that works but my mind is a lot happier and more hyper even if my body is exhausted. And, TMI, a little more randy which the BF certainly isn't complaining about. So I definitely think all of this is crazy hormones but I will take it. This version is a lot more fun than the energy-sucking, craving-inducing, TOM-giving hormones!!!!

Planning a soft food day today as can't chew without pain. Still trying to stick to plan of Slimming world. and who knows maybe it'll do my weight some good. lol
