  • Hello! I'd like to join, if that's all right. I did well on my November challenge and am looking now to Christmas! Time flies.

    SW: 191.6
    GW: 187.6

I've been losing pretty rapidly these last few weeks (over a pound a week, a lot for me!). I expect this will slow down, especially during/after Thanksgiving weekend. And then I travel in December. I'm looking for ways to stay focused. Cheers! I'm off to a breakfast out and then shopping for healthy food for the beginning of the week.
  • Happy for you Jill!! You rocked this month!

Welcome scout83! Nice to have you here.

I don't think I will make any fabulous progress this month. I was hoping for 6 pound loss, but at this point I will be grateful for 3 pound loss and over joyous for 4 pound loss. -- Having Thanksgiving so late in the month does not help...not enough days to get rid off that bloat before the month ends

Today I was up 2.8 pounds, and I did not do anything "bad" to deserve such a jump The only thing different I did; I drank a ton of water late last night...but aren't you supposed to pee the extra out anyways I ate around 1300 cals, and it was all home made, no hidden sodium. I walked 8.5 miles too.

TOM is late too, maybe my hormones are messing with my weight. Sigh.

But I will keep going. Eating low carb/low cal and exercising. Eventually good things will happen, right? -- I love the whooshes...but it would be nice if weight loss were to be linear... I hate these drastic jumps up... They are just so darn defeating.

I did not give in today. I ate OP, walked for 4.2 miles. We'll see what the scale says tomorrow morning. Let's hope that it shows a small loss from this morning!

Sum, I'm up .6 this morning (238.2) and I did nothing to deserve it either! Like you, I drank a ton of water yesterday and am wondering if that's it.
Oh well! I was secretly hoping to get to 236.4 by Thanksgiving. That would have been 45 pounds lost. That ain't happening but I would like to get back down where I was yesterday (237.6), at least.
