I'm not logging this week as the scale this morning is reading a 4-5 lb gain and I know damn well I didn't eat thousands of extra calories this week (unless I'm eating in my sleep). So I'm refusing to log it and caulk it up to retaining water or something. I'll reassess next week (which is of course TOM so....come to think of it maybe next week might suck too).
We just got back from a RV weekend at Chickasaw SP near Bolivar, TN. It rained for a while during our trip which just added to the humidity, but overall we had a nice time. The leaves are just starting to change, which make our hikes though the woods and around the lake extra pretty.
Glad to see you back TORI Sorry you quit for a while but glad you are back on track. Stay with us you can do this.
TEENI You will make it, you are almost there.
I was going to have a thanksgiving thread for who ever is willing. A 4 week challenge. I figure we can just start when this one stops. I will make a thread and either sign up or tell me if you are interested. Think about a goal when we get to our last week.
I may need to change things up next month to keep the scale moving. I did add weight lifting and I just got back from a week of vacation, but I'd still have liked to make more progress in this challenge!
Weight lifting initially will add some edema and swelling to your muscles but it is only temporary. Have you been doing measuresments too monthly? They are a great motivator with weight lifting. The inches seems fall faster than the pounds but you will look fantastic! Keep up the good work.
Not too bad after a 10 day vacation in the tropics. Although the food was healthy and fresh I ate way over my calorie budget and had a lot of drinks. We were more active with walking, hiking, biking and snorkeling. Back home and back on plan!
