Woke up today at 201.3 lbs. I really just want to hover here for a while. I recently decided to reduce my exercise to just once a day and I took Sunday off (not my choice but it happened). I eat when I feel like it and I don't deprive myself (Tuesdays are Pizza and Gelato Day, yay!). But I know my portions are pretty weak. I feel like I go through days where I'm not very hungry, followed by days where I eat whatever isn't bolted down. But it's probably between 1,800 - 2,000 cals a day when I'm eating whatever.

That and... my stretch marks are becoming more noticeable. I better get some cocoa butter! I have yet another strength training class tonight. Isn't strength training supposed to combat this??

Hi all!

sorry to be out of touch--I kinda let things slide since my b-day on sunday. I am up 3 lbs and have not been serious the last two days about getting it back off--today my head is back in the game.

the other night I went thru all my skinnier clothes I have stored--got some out that fit now! and I am inspired by seeing all the cute stuff I have waiting for me.

got myself a b-day and xmas prezzie--some bedhead pjs!!

Jr--I can relate to beign disappointed about not being where we want to be in terms of weight and time. yet here we are, thinner than we were before and not letting disappointment rule what we do. instead we just keep going. I am very impressed with your 50 lb weight loss!

lishar--great job on what you have done--you will have that 50 off in no time!

tyla--keep it going and keep checking in!

take care all!

oh and l2l--you are doing awesome--it can be a good strategy to take a break too as long as you dont gain. that way the metabolism can rev up again.

Aaaaaaaaaaand don't listen to anyone who tells you to buy a pint of ice cream. Seriously though, don't. I was doing so well. But I obviously still can't have that stuff in my house. I just don't have that kind of control. I bought a container of Talenti Gelato in Caramel Cookie Crunch (880 Calories, 40 g of fat. & 24g of sat. fat) And now the container is empty. Well actually there's a spoon in there, but that's about it. On a positive note, there was 16g of protein in there. That's gotta count for something!

I was 202.1 lbs this morning. I betcha I won't be tomorrow!

Oh Learning2live. I don't think I could have resisted that Gelato either. I have bought some yoplait greek frozen yogurt, honey caramel Its so yummy. Try that one next time. You can eat the whole pint and its not 880 calories. less that 300 I think. Just try and do better today.

Sno I love finding cloths that fit again. I am in serious need to new pants. I have one pair of size 18 and my 16 are too small still.

I have broken out of the 220's but not really the way I wanted. My youngest brought home the flu. Now the whole family is getting it. I did not eat much and what I did came back up. Still dizzy but not as nauseated today. Fingers crossed it does not last long.

I hope everyone else stays healthy this season.

Did Pilates yesterday. Now it'll be a two week break due to the holidays. I'm gonna miss my Pilates class. Never thought I would say that!! But I will try to do some of the positions at home to keep at it. Otherwise, I always have my treadmill. Still watching those cals.

Lishar, congrats on getting out of the 220's! It doesn't matter how you got there. Hope you continue to do well!

Sno, belated Happy Birthday!!

Was 223.2 after workout today ... Don't see any way of getting to 221 tomorrow I did 2 hours of cardio today though - 1400 calories - so maybe if I eat light for dinner I will be lighter in the am. Just had a snack of a banana and a cup of red grapes. Praying for the best in the morning...

Hi all!

well I ate too much last night but I had done a ton of exericise so I was down 1.5 this am--1.5 to go to lose the birthday gain. I have decided i will be very happy if I am at 229 on new years--that will be 7 lbs for the month of december--really excellent for the holidays.

then it will all be over and no more excuses to party--well my anniversary is the 21st of january but that is just one dinner out.

my bedhead pajamas arrived and they are so cute!

l2l: caramel is my fave!

lishar: I love the dkny jeans soho--they are very flattering--but I have to have bootcut--the fashionable narrow leg pants make my butt look like a zeppelin. you can get the dkny's online from macys--and they run big so I bet an 18 would fit you.

oops--gotta run--cheers to everyone els!

jr--it will come off dont worry. and I always find I weight more after a workout--is that why you weigh post workout? weighing first thing in the morning before eating is the lightest I ever get.

hi to everyone--have a wonderful weekend!

Snow - I weigh first thing in the morning (after the bathroom) and again after I workout. Post-workout is always my lightest.

Jr: Congrats on getting to the 2teens! I know you've been working very hard at it. And I know the scale sometimes doesn't agree with our efforts.

Sno - I'm sure you will lose the birthday gain before the end of the month. But Christmas is tomorrow. I wish us ALL luck in that area! I'm making my mac n cheese... which is really just a container of cheese with some macaroni sprinkled in somewhere.

Lishar - I hope you're doing well. Oh and as for the greek yogurt, I ate that too. After Gelato Day, I ate 2 tubs of Chobani Vanilla Chocolate Chunk. One tub a day. I also ate one of those Dark Chocolate Cherry Almond bars on the same day as the gelato. And I was eating Chocolate Chip Clif bars as snacks in between meals. So like yeah, the last few days was the eat everything that isn't nailed down days. Yesterday I got back on track with my eating. But I've still been exercising, which I'm thankful for, because I'm certain that it helped.

***********

I definitely acquired some sort of muscle injury in my right serratus anterior on Thursday because I woke up on Friday in pain. It hurt everytime I inhaled. I've since bought a heat pack. My serratus is better but my ribs hurt now. Boo. I'm supposed to go to the gym today. They close at 3pm. That's 3 hours away. Don't know if I'll make it in. I'll have to see if my friend is going. If she goes then I'll have to go with her. Gotta love the buddy system!

Woke up today at 200.8 lbs. I got 7 days to get to 199. It seems possible!

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE!! GOOD FOOD IN MODERATION IS STILL GOOD FOOD!
