Welcome Back Lishar! The important thing is to never give up and to drink enough water to combat water weight.

Random Question: Does anyone use fiber supplements? I've been trying Luna Fiber Bars and although they are quite tasty, they make me feel really bloated. And I'm not too happy about that...

Learning2Live, I forgot to congratulate you for reaching 199.9! And yes, you are officially under 200!

So glad that the first of the year is here, and that we all have a fresh start. I'm trying to stay away from sugar, as it seems that's a no no for me. It gets me started in the wrong direction. I just got off the treadmill and feel super great! Let's keep it going. >>>>

Thank you Tyla! I am now solidly in Onederland. Today I was 198.3. I swear I still don't believe it. But I have upped my water intake to try to combat any water weight. And I am definitely back on track with my exercise. Advil has helped with the rib pain. I need to go buy some fruit, though, cuz I can't have any real sweets in the house. They set me down a bad path too.

Learning 2 live big congrats for reaching onderland. woohoo

Sno I gained 4lbs too. I am down 2 of those since I started back last week. I am feeling better about my progress. I too am happy with the progress I have made since August. I just need to keep on plan and moving forward.

I am not beating myself up for gaining. It was the holidays and the tempation was just too much. My mom brought a huge batch of cookies and once I started it was really hard to stop. So I ended up making my husband take them all to work. I just need to start buying healthy snacks.

Have a great weekend everyone.

I'm a little late joining up, but spring is an exciting prospect. I can easily lose 20-30 pounds, bringing me down to 250. I haven't been that weight in years!

Well, I bounced back up to 200.6 today.

I was thinking yesterday that maybe I shouldn't really worry about the rate of weight loss. Cuz you can only control your actions, not how your body responds to them. I exercise and I now drink more water than I ever bothered to do before, but I'm back up over 200. Oh well. Nothing I can do other than keep trudging along.

Just checking in again. I have lost my holiday gain. So back to 218 again. Back on track and back on plan. I worked hard the last 3 days on exercise again. I am sure that is one reason I finally got rid of those pounds.

This weekend I walked my stairs again since the Y does not have have childcare in the evenings on the weekend. I keep pushing myself to do more. I was able to walk 137 sets to make 150 set of stairs for the day. A personal best for me. Walking up/down your stairs for an hour give you a good burn. 500 calories per my HRM. Its cold and raining outside so not much I can do at home. It works for me. I love my fitbit because it counts them for me.

Have a great week ladies.

Hello everyone. lisha91, free and TheLauren

Lishar, impressed you took to the stairs when you couldn't go to the gym. There are those ( sound like this writer ?) that use any excuse not to exercise!!! (Like the new profile pix, btw!)

Well, like many others, I have gained about 4 -6 lbs over the holidays. UNLIKE Lishar & others, I haven't lost it yet. But, it is what it is, could have been worse, time to get back to plan. Tyla, as always, inspires with exercise!

Good luck everyone!!!

Thank you, Mountain Mamma! We can make 2013 a great year! Let's not get on the scale for a while. Let's just try to eat and exercise like thin people do. We can do this!

I just got off the treadmill. I plan to do an hour today. (So far I've done 47 min.)

Welcome, lisha91, free and TheLauren!

Let's stay strong together!

Agreed! Let's ignore the scale for a while!

I was so stressed lately that I ate 8 chocolate cupcakes (no frosting) over the past 2 days as well as chinese food.

But I did go for a morning walk today and I am going to the gym tonight for some cardio and a kettlebell class. So I'm still exercising. My eating has just been out of whack.
