  • With finals and work I have been crazy busy but I am down 4lbs somce my last post! :-) I have been staying on track with my diet. And now i have more time to workout since school is out. I hope everyone is doing good on theirjourney!!!

    Hi all!!

    wow I am so impressed by us--despite holidays etc we have been really on it--exercising and losing weight. Dang we're good!

    yesterday was a good exercise day for me--did my hike and despite feeling tired went to me exercise class--I hadnt been there for several weeks and I noticed the teacher has put on some weight--I am not gloating but it just made me feel like everyone is human and the holidays are a big challenge for everyone!!

    so for my thursday check in--no weight loss in the last week but I have maintained the three pounds I lost last week.

    Here are my goals again: I would like to lose 10 lbs by jan 1--that would be 226 --7 more lbs and I have about 2.5 weeks left. I might not make that goal but I think I could at least lose 5 more lbs which would put me at 228. we'll see--maybe my christmas present will be a woosh!

  • I had IHOP from breakfast and Pizza for dinner yesteday. THe good thing is I maintained my weight and did not gain. Which I was suprised about since eating out has so much sodium. I made sure to drink a lot of water.

  • Went out with my girlfriends tonight. We decided to make this our little Christmas party by having a couple of drinks. Had a great time, and stayed within my range.

    Hi all!

    was not very hungry last night so I had a cup of hot chocolate for dinner and a half a pear. I realize that high cal drinks are not good but occasionally okay and really they are a meal in themselves in terms of calories. so if I really want that starbucks holiday drink then I need to count it as my entree.

    down one pound!

  • Sno you are on a roll. LOL about the hot chocolate being dinner. Last night went to Olive garden and I ate way too much. About 400 calories above my goal. Oh well. I enjoyed myself and will be under today. Tonight for some reason I craved beets. So I had a can of beets and a tuna sandwich. Strange I know but it was good.

    Our family was supose to have pictures taken today. We get there and there is only one person working and after 30min and still several people waiting we left. I was bummed because I looked good darn it. LOL. I may still be fat but I look so much better than I did 40lbs ago. Its nice feeling good about how I look.

    I would love to be at 50lbs lost by Christmas. Not sure if I will make it but it would be nice.
  • One the 17th (Monday) I can begin working out again, and planning to kick it into high gear with the cardio. Hope to lose 5 pounds the first week! Would love to be 219 for Xmas! (-6 pounds). Ultimate goal for the 3 weeks I am not in classes and gyming every day is to lose 10 pounds overall. I have a good workout plan for the 3 weeks - cardio, strength training, and some dog walking - so low impact - so super excited to be home on Monday and back in the gym! I feel like it's my natural habitat
  • I'm am so exhausted from Cardio Boxing this morning. And I have strength training today in 4 hours. I foresee a shower and a nap in my immediate future. I weighed in before I left for Cardio Boxing. If the current trend continues I will be on track to reach my personal goal of 199 this month.

  • I was 222.4 when I woke up this morning. Hoping for 221 tomorrow post-workout!
  • I am so close to the 2 teens. I was 220.2lbs this morning. I am very happy because in November my weight just seemed to hang on. I was hoping to be 50lbs lost by Christmas but I think that is expecting too much. I will be happy to be in the 2 teens by then. Its getting harder to resist the christmas yummies.

    I made caramel chocolate pretzels on Sunday. I will say the combination was really yummy. Now I just need to get them out of the house. I am taking them to the girls school today.
  • @Lishar: I wanted to be 199 by New Year's, but I think the best I will get to is 217-215, which makes me sad. I feel like I slacked this semester, but school requires putting everything on the back-burner sometimes.

    But, I was 222 this morning! Worked out this morning too, but had lunch with my mom and didn't have a chance to weigh-in post workout. Excited to weigh-in tomorrow, and planning a long workout to hopefully be in 220.5 post-workout! Goal is 219 by friday!
