Italiannie, the party was great! Thanks for asking. Although I ate more than I should have, and it showed on the scale today. I was 191! Going in the wrong direction and that has to change. It seems that since the start of this challenge, there is some special event going on every weekend: Christmas, New Year's Eve and my daughter's 21st birthday party. I overdid it at each event. Now my nephew is having his 18th birthday party this coming weekend, and I just have to be a good girl if I want to see a loss on the scale next by Monday.
I am so proud of all of you who are having such wonderful losses. Way to go! Even for those of you who've had slower losses or (like me) a gain at the beginning, I still consider it progress if we check in here and admit we strayed, but are getting back on the bandwagon...which is exactly what I'm doing.
Now that school in back in session for my younger daughter, I'm back at getting up at 5:30 a.m., but for some reason, I bounced out of bed when the alarm went off, did my cleaning for the day before taking her to school and then came home and worked out and showered. I feel fan-freakin'-tastic!!!
I hope this feeling stays for a nice, long visit.
And all this extra cleaning, along with the exercising, has got to be speeding up my metabolism a little bit more.
Oh, and a big welcome to all the newbies who've joined since I last posted, too!
Okay, there's still about 5 weeks left in this challenge. That's plenty of time to lose a good chunk of weight before Valentine's Day. We just need to focus and keep our eye on the prize.
Let's tear it up this week everyone!!!
