good morning all! i guess it's time to confess that i am officially stepping away from counting calories until next friday. a week off. it's a test!
but i refuse to let calories and the scale dominate my wedding and honeymoon festivities. life is about more than that number on the scale, and i will get right back to it when i get home. i haven't checked the scale today yet, to see what damage olive garden did (srsly, 3 breadsticks?!) but i think it was worth, eh, maybe a pound of salt gain. :P hopefully my scale doesn't go up more than that!

i made it 2 pounds past the goal of 269.9 i set for myself by my wedding, and hopefully that's enough cushion that i don't see too much of a bounce when i return. it's only a week. and i don't go for food as much as i used to, and i get full so much easier. last night at olive garden the food was great. delicious. but i could feel how heavy it was in my stomach, and i could taste all the salt in it.
The guy next door moved but was kind enough to leave us {me!} his old weight bench. It has the barbell rack, preacher curl bench and a 'pull-down" pulley thingy. I'm very excited to have it, however its currently in pieces in my sewing room. I'm not really sure what to do with it, we don't really have a empty spare room, so something somewhere will have to get moved. Since it does come apart that is good, and the bench part folds up also to save more space. Just not sure what to do. Since I've only ever worked out to DVD's, I'm not sure I would use it in a room without a TV, such as my sewing room.

I walked 3 miles today and ran 1/2 mile.. and im so tired. been so tired all day
They tell me. excerise is suppose to give me energy.. but im so tired. .?
any ideas? anyone else have this issue?
Hi Friday! Yes, exercise wears me out sometimes. It just depends on the day. Some days I'll work out and have a ton of energy for the next few hours, while other days after working out I feel like I need to take a nap! Just keep doing it -- it's great for your mind and body!
I am s-i-c-k still...blah...my throat doesn't hurt as much, but I'm just exhausted and slightly nauseous. I hate being sick, but I'm going to listen to my body and just take it easy. I hope everyone has a great Saturday!
Emme - I hope you feel better. Being sink is no fun. Hopefully you were able to take it easy today as planned.
Friday - I find that when I don't take my multi vitamin, I tend to feel more tired.
I'm doing good today. I've stuck to my point plan for today. I got in a 3 mile walk first thing this morning and I spent about 5 hours showing houses this afternoon.

Hi everyone! Hope you all have a nice Sunday. The windows are open and it's sunny out, and a nice breeze is wafting through the house. I was able to stay OP yesterday even though I was sick...I wasn't super hungry throughout the day and I think a lot of that had to do with being sick and congested. I'm feeling a bit better this morning, but it's the kind of sick where you try to walk around and do something, and then you get really warm and tired fast. Yuck.

I spent most of yesterday napping on the couch. There's a lot of pollen in the air and it finally caught up with me. Hubby's got the same thing, too. I'm feeling better today however, but not back to normal yet. It starting raining last night and according to the forecast will rain the rest of the week also.
Weighed in today and up 1.5ish lbs. I took my measurements again and have lost 1.5 inches off my waist since Jan! Nice to know something is changing even if the weight stays the same
