Great attitude! Just don't wear yourself out to the point of exhaustion I know a lot of people can lose weight easily by just monitoring calories and not working out at all...once they plateau they start adding in exercise to assist in weight loss again. Maybe if you don't feel there is enough time to exercise, just focus on calories so you don't burn yourself out.

And, yes, breastfeeding does burn calories ~ which is awesome!

Today's Journal:

I plan to change up my eating starting today and follow this old WW Quickstart plan:
http://www.weightwatchers.com/downlo...atingGuide.pdf
My goal is to stick 100% to this plan for a week to see if I can break through my plateau. It has helped me in the past to break a plateau so I'll give it a try again.

B: RF string cheese, orange, coffee w/1tbsp skim milk
L: Chicken breast, salad greens w/FF salad dressing, coffee w/1tbsp skim milk
S: FF yogurt, apple, 11 almonds (and only 11)
D: Shrimp, green beans, 1/2 baked sweet potato
Lots of water

I have a tough couple of weeks ahead traveling 9 out of 11 days. That is a lot of eating out and difficulty working out. My plan is to make sure I make it to the hotel gym at least once in Bismarck and then do a lot of walking outside in DC. Maybe I will take my pedometer with me so that I can make sure I'm getting my steps in each day. I hope everyone has a Great Weekend!!

Happy Friday, Autumn Beauties. Still a tad bit sick but I will for sure get in a workout tonight. I took a day off from working out yesturday. I think I'm gonna take my exercise routine up a notch by extending my workouts at least 20 minutes to make sure I get a good sweat.

Been skimping the calories all day... 7pm and still got 1k calories to eat (1500-1650). I gotta make up for it if I want to make sure I don't go under 1200. Eating a rather calorie expensive salad. Added feta cheese and a hard boiled egg and kidney beans and Zesty Italian dressing... much more stuff than normal. Least I used up the leftover feta from some other dish.

Worked out for 30 mins. We kept having to go to the store for something and it just got later and later and just forgot about my walk so popped in an exercise video.

Good morning Beauties and Happy Saturday!

Misty - You are doing great! Keep up the great work.

Nikki - It's good that the party is at your house and you have control of the food. Enjoy but don't go overboard. You can work anything with your weekly bonus points or activity points.

It looks like I may finally be breaking through my stall. This morning I weighed 215.4. I will see what happens over the next couple days.

I hope everyone is having a great OP day.

GettinFit ~ AWESOME for breaking through your stall!! The body is so mysterious, isn't it? I'm soooo happy for you I know this is something you've been working through for a while now. Yay!!!

I weighed in this morning at 189.6, so I'm in the 180s, but the mysterious body might bump me back into the 190s for some reason (water weight, TOM, whatever!), but I'm just happy b/c I haven't seen the 180s since 2001.

I hope everyone has a great weekend!

YEAH Emme That is awesome! It's been about 8 years since I've seen the 180s. You have done an awesome job with your weight loss. Before you know it you'll be celebrating the 170s

I just hope the scale doesn't fool me an go back up tomorrow. I just took a look (not a good I know but I was curious) and it has me at 216.8 and that's after just having dinner and a ton of water so hopefully tomorrow morning I will still see 215 or lower.

Today's menu:
B: Pepperidge Firm wheat deli flat w/ 2 tsp natural PB, SF/FF Cappuchino
L: Turkey & RF cheese on Deli flat with lettuce & mustard, greek yogurt
S: orange, 2 tsp cashew butter
D: Talapia, cabbage 1/2 sm red potato, 1 WW cookie, coffee
Exercise: Firm Total Body Time Crunch
Exercise #2 Rockin Body Hard Core Abs
Exercise #3 Walked 3 miles in 46 mins.

Went over today... Didn't know rice was so many calories. Oh well. Live and learn. Walk was shorter than usual... legs stiff from the workout video. Having a hard time just getting up and sitting down in my chair at my desk. Not sure if I should be doing 1500-1650 or 1800-2000 calories. I'm just gonna make sure I'm under 2000 and talk to my doctor, see what he thinks. Anyways that's the update for me. Water drinking has been a challenge indeed. I keep forgetting to refill my water container and just end up not getting any water until I'm really thirsty. Not good.

Misty~ I would suggest staying around 2000ish. You are very tall and I think your body would handle it well. If you are losing weight at 2000 calories per day and all of a sudden you have a plateau where you aren't losing any weight (I've heard to wait at least 4 weeks to make sure it really is a plateau), then you can reduce your calories to 1850 or 1900 and see if that gets your weight loss going again. If you start at 1500 instead of 2000 and hit a plateau, you'd have to go below 1500, and then keep going lower. With 1800-2000 calories you have a lot more room to move down if you ever hit plateaus. That is just my opinion, though...your doctor may tell you differently. Our bodies are science experiments with weight loss and it's a lot of trial and error!

Congrats, GettinFit and Emme! Misty, that little mistake probably won't put you behind at all. I evny you for even watching your caloric intake that well, period.

I'm still trying to shake my cold. I haven't had much energy to work out as planned these passed few days. On the plus side, the month is still young and I will jump back into my workouts tomarrow. My weight has been so strange this week too.....I was up to 218.....then back to 213 this morning. LOL. Oh well...that is just the way the weight loss journey goes. Keep up the good work, Beauties.
