It's been awhile since I checked in! I'm still eating on plan and excercising, and the scale is still taunting me :lol. I'm at 223 today, which is higher than my ticker, and higher than I was yesterday. I'm also having some girl issues - I appear to be starting a second round of AF this month. My body is apparently in cahoots with my scale, bent on driving me insane! But, I'm plugging on. The last couple of weeks, scale wise, would have completely thrown me off in the past. I would have said "Well, it's not working anyway! I'm going to eat whatever I want and however much I want! So there! Take that, scale!" and then a couple of months later I would be right back where I started. This time, I'm still weighing and measuring everything. I'm still plugging it all into the daily plate. I'm still excercising. I'm still going.

Today is my first day online and the first day of my diet. I am morbidly obese and cant breathe, walk, have hbp, and cardiac problems wish me well. Ive already had for breakfast a croissant and that will be the last piece of bread I eat today..Wish me well, Im gonna need it.

Hi and welcome! You'll find a lot of great support on the forums. You might want to check out the conversation we're having over on the "Annoyed" thread as well. It might be of help to you in finding a type of hodge podge cycling weight loss program that might work for you as well.

Well, I ultimately, I met my goal of bringing my lunch 4x a week. In fact, I brought it every day! I didn't meet my weight goal, but I guess that's more inspiration to try hard in June!

Ms Perception 05-28-2010 01:34 PM

LouisaH-Hey, thanks for reminding me to check in on Shrinking Girl and Tummy Girl. I was really wondering how they were doing. It was so good to read about their continuing journeys.

susiemartin-Yay on getting to keep one of your goals! You deserve it for hopping right back on the wagon once the election was over. You've been doing a great job with checking in too! You are in a great place right now with all this healthy living, so keep on going!

eclipse-Bravo! You're handling the stagnant weight like a champ! It will eventually work itself out, but nobody likes the wait. Keep up the awesome attitude!!

l n s may-I'm so glad you joined us! Please keep us posted on your progress. Most importantly, take good care of yourself!

bama girl-I'll repost the list and mark you red for lunches. I'm still holding out hope to reach goal, but it is beyond unlikely. :D Gotta have a dream!

The June thread will be up in a couple days so we can reset and see what we can accomplish next month. I know it will be a obstacle-filled month for me, so I'll need the encouragement here to keep me going!

The very best to you. You can do it

Check In Time :)
All is well here. Still 100% OP.

I'm going to be EXTRA diligent over this holiday weekend.

Nothing like parties, cookouts & festivities to set me off to nibbling.... then picking....then scarfing....then a full blown blow out binge that will last for 6 weeks to 2 years :(

Hope everyone has a a wonderful day and weekend.

Hopeful8 05-29-2010 06:40 PM

SW- 169.8
GW- 159.8

1st- 169.8
8th- 167.8
15th- 167.4
22nd- 165.4
29th- 163.2
31st-

I really think I could have attained my goal if I didn't get stalled between the 8th & the 15th. Maybe I can see 162 by the 31st, but my 10lb loss will not happen this month. Still, I can't be too upset, I'm still losing although it's at a much slower rate than before. But a loss is a loss and no matter the number of lbs it's still something to be celebrated.

susiemartin 05-30-2010 07:08 AM

Check In Time:)
I'm down another lb. :carrot: - 257.4

So far this month I've made my goals :carrot:

Here's looking forward to another OP day and finishing up this month's challenge tomorrow morning.

Hope everyone has a great day!

Please sign up and keep up the great progress we've started here. Also, please let me know if/when you reach goal so I can mark it on the fabulous list!

I'm so happy to say I've been OP for a few days now and I'm feeling good about the momentum I'll carry into June. So far, so good this weekend! ;)

eclipse: my body and scale seem to be in cahoots with yours, as I am also receiving another visit from our "friends" this month. WTF? What do I look like a B&B? It's like deja vu wiht the scale--Yay, I'm out of the 170s! Oh, I'm back in the 170s. Yay, I'm out of the 170s! Oh, I'm back in the 170s...

MsP: thank you once again for posting next month's challenge. I'll join it on the first so I can include my starting weight on the next 10 pound goal. Hopefully I'll reach that one, unlike this month, unless by some stroke of grace the scale plummets 4.2 pounds in the next two days!

NightAngel26 05-30-2010 11:14 AM

Hello...

at this point I'll see you guys on the next thread, I'm rather disappointed in myself for not making any progress... I will regain my willpower! My bday is next month.....good luck all and see you soon.

eclipse 05-30-2010 12:05 PM

My body seems to be headed back down. I'm at 220.8 today. That's only .8 from my May goal. I probably won't quite hit 220, but I'm getting closer than I expected.

Hopeful8 05-30-2010 04:51 PM

Saw a nice little woosh today, but I still won't make my May goal. I'm less than 2lbs away. Already posted my goal for next month, I'll post my starting weight on Tuesday.

Even though I won't make goal, I still got to change my avatar today. I can't believe that 45lbs is completely gone from my body forever! Good luck everyone!

susiemartin 05-31-2010 06:19 AM

Check In Time :)

Made all my goals for May!
I'm up a 1/2 pound since yesterday (my weigh day). Probably due to the grilled Kielbasi I ate for dinner last night. I'm 258.0 on the nose.

Just in time for the June thread and new goals :D

See you there :broc:
