hi ladies! my weekend has been great so far. went out with my mom (late mothers day outting), got some gardening done, went out with my husband last night, and got some exercise in. i'm frustrated tho b/c i still havent lost. back up to 169. i do feel like i'm losing inches tho but i still wanna see a loss. i'm eating OP and exercising so i dunno.

Well it's as bad as I thought - I'm up 4 lbs. since I last weighed myself. You don't think it could of been the 5 days of non stop stress eating...including candy bars, mixed nuts, pizza , ice cream..etc....etc...etc..? Well, I'm OP again and hopefully I'll lose what I gained by the end of the month. If not...... Ms Perception you'll be taking back one of my May goals :( Hope everyone gets out to enjoy the day. Hopeful8: I'm in the same boat--might not make goal, but the scale has finally started to move again so my motivation is renewed! Good luck. Susiemartin: Stick to the program and that weight will come right back off really quickly! Onestar: I just went through the same thing--no weight loss for a number of days and it started making me crabby (and snacky). It'll come off soon, and probably a good chunk of it, so stay with it, you're doing great! Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend. I'm going to cook scallops and and asparagus pesto for dinner, and I'm whiling away the hours until it's late enough to start prepping! Mmmm. I love food. I'm down to 169.8 this morning, which puts me .8 pounds from a normal BMI. Yippee! |

took a rest day from exercise today and am turning in early. ate OP but didnt get in any water. oh well, tomorrow is a new day. our computer had a virus so we spent most of the day dealing with that. back in business though lol! back to work tomorrow. the weekends fly by. have a great monday all! |

I'm up early and ready for another total OP day. :carrot: I've got fat lambs to take to market today & lots of farm work this week. I'm going to make sure I really plan out my meals all week to save me from binging & cleaning out the cupboards & fridge when I come in to eat at lunchtime & supper. Lack of planning when things are busy or hectic always gets me in trouble. Hope everyone has a great day! |
I made my goal for May. I weighed in at 131 pounds and have lost six pounds this month.
This weigh in was bittersweet because I got on a 9 day vacation tomorrow & I worry about what I'll weigh when I get back. I want to be on plan, but it will be a challenge. I guess I'll be going on the vacation weight maintenance challenge. :) |

LouisaH-Thanks for the hand up! I'm back on the wagon and ready to at least get back to my end of April weight. It has been a bad month for me as far as eating OP and all the good habits I'm hoping to make a normal part of my life as I transition to a maintainer. Yay on being so close to "normal"!! Lewisempire-I've missed you, woman! Glad to have you back and you're on the list. I hear ya on the difficulties! I've been fighting with the same 5-7 pounds a hundred times (it seems) since January! Why can't I stay down?! onestar-The scale will have to give in eventually. You're sure to be losing inches if you're OP with food and exercise. Keep up the good work....waiting is definitely a difficult part of the process. susiemartin-Onward and downward! Way to keep checking in, though! God this is agonizing. I'm losing so slow right now, 5 days to lose 1.5lbs. I'm pretty sure that my goal will not be met. Hopefully we'll be doing this thread again for the month of June.

It's been going very, very slow for me this month. I had a ridiculously long period (really, like 2.5 weeks of bleeding. ugh.) and I started to really excercise this month since by back is mostly healed(WATP and Wii Active 30, which is kicking my butt, big time), and I think those two things have me all over the place. My goal is 220 this month, and I've been as low as 221.4, but now I'm up at 222.4 again. I don't think I'll make goal this month, but hopefully by next month my body will start to respond to the excercise and get moving more quickly again. Right now I'm down about 5 lbs for the month, which I'm okay with. I'm just used to it coming off a little faster.
