Default November Exercise Challenge

Ok, this still feels funny. But here are FSA's words of wisdom once again:

Hi ladies : ) Here is to a new month!

To those of you who would like to join in....please feel free. All are welcome and we are here to post our minutes/goals to hold ourselves accountable and to help support and encourage one another.

We all have various goals and different fitness levels, there is no wrong or right here whether it be 10 min. a day or walk 3x a week, etc. We tailor our workouts according to our own best individual needs. The girls here rock and are very supportive so if you should be just starting out don't hesitate .

Exercise goals will be listed listed here, while weight loss goals, etc. will be listed in our sister thread, "November Weight Loss Challenge".

For the month of November: 675 minutes of walking at 3mph . that would mean every Mon., Wed., and Fri. 45 minutes each, and then every other Sat. for 45 minutes .

I'm in (fell off the exercise wagon in Sept and Oct)

I'm doing the C25K program - although I'm only up to 3.5K for now

So that means the bare minimum is 390 min of "wogging" for the month

That's way less than I had going on for the summer, so I'll have to come back and add my strength training/extra cardio/yoga/whatever goals once I decide what they are ...

Thanks, chickies for being a much-needed inspiration!!

Alright 1080 minutes!
That's 30 minutes of cardio 5 times a week and one hour of personal training 2 times a week.
I also want to finish my couch to 5k through week 5, jogging 2 miles!

Best of luck girls.

Thanks, Tummy Girl, for getting us started for November!

I blew past my goal of 1300 minutes for October so I'm sure I should set a higher goal for November. But it's National Novel Writing Month (a challenge to write a 50,000 word novel in 30 days), so I think I'll go easy on myself for November and stick with 1300 minutes.

My goal: 1300 minutes of exercise in November

I would like to set goals similar to this. Is it okay or should they be on another thread.

Okay, well, I haven't put formal thought into this but it's been floating around in the back of my head for a couple weeks.

I think my November goals will be:
Run 5X/wk
Strength Training 3X/wk
Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred 2X/wk.

I'm stepping up the strength training a touch and planning to get more toning work in so my new bod is strong and sexy!
