mjluva- maybe it's water weight? Maybe it's muscle gained from your workouts? Maybe you ate something salty? is it near your TOM? There are so many factors that could cause it. Don't let it discourage you! You are doing great! Just keep going!

Thanks for the B-day wishes & Congratz to those still losing. I was bad this weekend and unfortunately it's showing on the scale. I am back up to 192. O'well. No one to blame but me!
I'm fixing to get my house cleaned and then do my workout and get back on track today! I HAVE got to lose this weight!
I went and redid my goal for this challnege. NO WAY 25 or even 20 lbs is going to happen unless I suddenly wake up at The Biggest Loser Ranch! LOL!
I had a rough weekend. Up a lb, but I think at least some of it is water weight. I drank on Saturday night (I maybe go drinking 6 times a year, if that) so I knew I would be up for a few days. But, I am back on track today, so we'll see what happens.
On a positive note, when I went to that party, I got quite a few compliments about my weight loss. yay!

WoooooHoooo! I LOVE when that happens! Good luck keeping on track, so far so good for me today too! I got my exercise in, even though I sooooo didn't wanna!

Way to go Diva!! I am weighing in tomorrow @ WW. I worked out like a mad woman.....50 min spin class and 50 min on eliptical! I am pooped and hoping for a big loss. I got sick last Wed with a cold or something. It was awful. But I could barely eat b/c I felt so bad. I will check in with you guys tomorrow.
OH my goodness risab, you are a wild woman with the exercise! I got sick too and it had me down for a bit, then I exercised like a mad woman and relapsed so be careful there girly!
Great job, Lori. We are sooooo close that I can see it.
Thanks for the advice, Diva. I am keeping my focus on 'long-term'. I actually have given myself a year to accomplish my BIG goal and I have been at it for 9, complete weeks so far. I have never been so focused and motivated like I am this time around. All of you on this site have been so inspirational and helpful.
Now for the great news......I weighed in this afternoon @ WW and even though I only worked out 4 days vs. my usual 6 days.....because I had a cold and was stuck in bed, I still managed to lose 2.8 pounds. My Memorial day goal is a mere 7.2 pounds away. I know this will be SUPER challenging, though because I am already within 'healthy' range and losses are bound to slow down. I will not get discouraged, though. At least, I hope not.
Hello, I've been away for almost 2 weeks.. I have been traveling meeting with many friends and i have had a wonderful time.. But not good for my weigh. The scaled showed 150 .. Up back to where I was a month ago .. I've been eating to many bad cookies I guess.
The only good thing is that I've been working running at least 3 times/week. I did my first 5K and 6,6K during those weeks. Felt great.
Ive not been very active in this thread but I stil find it inspiring. Ive had a hard few weeks but I keep trying. Ive sat down and made a new plan for myself and hope that will help. I keep starting and stopping. Ive picked up a few healthier habits along the way but Im just not in 100% kick butt mode for some reason. Practice makes perfect and Ill keep on trying!
Theresia, traveling must be hard, but now your back. You have time to meet your goals for Memorial Day. Try to stay focused.
LookingforMeAgain, you have the best outlook. You'll get there, too. This is such a difficult journey that we are all on and the beauty to it all is that our goals, big or small, are 'doable'! We will achieve them.
