everyone.

I was thinking about how crappy I've been feeling lately and I realized that too much shyt is going on. Pending power shut off, rent for next month, lease is about to end so I have to find another place, job makes me want to hurt myself, and the WL thing. So I've decided that I'm hiding the scale till May. I actually went and boxed it up after work. I'll still be posting but no weight goals till May.

Good morning ladies feels like a long time since we chatted! I want to say ty to all of you for your kind and encouraging words regarding the weight loss and all It is really nice having each other here to s hare in our journey.

MsPerception, ty girl....same goes out to you! I love that statement you made about "obesity can eat my dust" keep on rocking it

Zoochick, congratulations on the loss . Wtg on your walk and wii yesterday too. I forgot you had the wii, I had so much fun unlocking the stuff! Hoping you feel better today. Happy losing to you as well .

Nicki Rose, wtg on the workouts girl. What is the zumba?? Keep me updated . When is your DD's surgery? THe technology has a come a long way these days, wishing all is well and keep us posted. I think that is wonderful that your going for your teaching certificate Congratulations to you on your signing up and on yournew endeavor, that is so nice! You wont fail Nicki, put that right out of your head.....just make your your number one priority, well next to family of course, lol . Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work.

Lewisempire, hi there . Wtg on that 4 mile walk and on your tea and water, that is sooooo good! When DH has his snack attacks or snack time and you having your tea, that's super! Great job on resisting the temptation and staying away from the d. soda. Keep it rockin' girl

JasonsLea, hey you I am sorry to hear that you are going through a stressful time right now. Hang in there sweety. I can see how the scale can be another source of stress added to it all and maybe having a goal of just working on eating healthy or being careful not to fall into emotional eating type traps, etc. etc may be more feasible right now. Glad your still going to post, of course girl! You better, lol . We are here

Hi Scarlet , tomorrow is your daughters birthday, yes? I hope you are having a great day.

Day 2 of our new week, hmmm, today I will focus to drink my water as I didn't do too good with it yesterday. Basically putting all of my focus on just today for right now and on making it a good one, let's kick it .

Yesterday was a busy day, managed a walk and went grocery shopping and just all sorts of chores around here. I am so glad I went to the store, I was out of my healthy lunch stuff and ingredients. As I said before, it is vital I have my meals planned for at least 2 days in advance....it keeps me on track andmy mind from wandering . I did get some chicken to cook on the grill with some veggies, I better marinate it now though.

Today and the next few days it is supposed to be milder and in the high 40's and just love seeing that sun! OH, my seeds sprouted too lewis It is fun to watch them grow!
Well girls, that is all my news for now, I hope everyone has a great day.

I was down .2 today and felt better this morning. The cold is still hanging on, but I did workout this morning and I hope to have some energy left tonight to do more. I have eaten OP today and all, so I will look for continued progress toward my March goal. The month isn't over yet!

Awesome news zoochick! I love to see inches lost! It's great to see the progress in every form.

JasonsLea, I hope boxing up the scale reduces stress. You have a lot on your plate right now. I pray things start to come together for you! I think FullSteam was right that you can just focus on being active and/or healthy eating instead of the # on the scale. Best of luck to you!

Thanks guys! I know she'll be okay. I'm just a worrying. I'm very excited and nervous about the Praxis. The test is April 25th and her surgery is the 27th. Yikes!! I'm starting to work on my study plan now. I've contacted my old high school English teachers for pointers and assistance. LOL! Tomorrow gonna be spending my lunch hour in the library!

I'm back at where I was Friday now so gonna keep on trucking! Been OP all day today. Gonna try and fit strength in but definitely gonna do 30DS after work.

Zumba is like a spanish/latin style dance class. SO much fun!!!!

Today's my day off and my daughter is having company so I've been busy cleaning---good exercise for me!!

Nikki, here's good thoughts for your daughter, she should be fine...

Jasonlea, I hope you will keep posting--sometimes I take a break from the scale too, and just pay attention to what I eat...this is a lifestyle to get healthy as well as losing weight...and you have a lot going on right now.

Forgive me if I get people confused, I'm not very good at this, but I don't want anyone to think I don't read all the posts as I do...

My daughter's birthday is actually Saturday but I'm taking her out to dinner Thursday. I can't believe I had her 31 years ago, and I had her at home with a midwife, it was a wonderful birth experience..

FSA and LewisEmpire, you are both doing so well----Hooray!

Zoochick, that wii sounds like an amazing workout..

Ms. Perception, you just have the best attitude, you inspire me!

Okay, back to housework!!

Well to add to my excitement this morning, I fit into a pair of jeans that I bought a long time ago. I only had a chance to wear them once before I gained more weight. I tried them on a few months ago and couldn't even button them. I wore them today and they fit perfectly This is really encouraging because it's the first time I've noticed a difference in my size. My last jeans I bought were 15's. These jeans are on the lower side of 13's so I've dropped a pants size!! My boyfriend's mom even told me when she saw me today that she could tell I'm getting smaller. She's a big help because I'm at my boyfriend's house A LOT, so she's been buying a lot of 100 calorie stuff so that I'll have snacks to eat and has been trying to cook healthier things that will keep me OP.

JasonsLea If watching the scale is causing you more stress, than that's a great idea to give it a break. Hopefully everything starts getting better for you soon

FullSteam Thanks! That's great that the weather is getting better where you are Our temperatures have been great, but it's supposed to rain all week. We're coming to that time where it's gonna start raining a little each afternoon, so good thing I walk in the mornings. I'm hoping I'll still be able to get some outside walking in this week, if not I'll go to the Wii free step and maybe some Wii jogging

Ms. Perception Good job on the loss and good job on working out when you're sick I usually never have the energy when I'm sick. Hope you feel better soon.

nicki rose I'm sure everything will go great with your daughter's surgery. preparing for your test.

Scarlet Housework is good exercise, anything to stay moving. I should do it more often, I'm sure my mom would REALLY appreciate the help. The most I usually have time to get in though is some laundry.

Hi girls!
Zoochick- I bet your jeans look really cute on you! Great job on losing the inches! Especially impressive to do while in school! keep up the good work!

Scarlett- housework is definately exercise. I should have done more around my house today, but I decided to be loungy instead. Hope you have fun at dinner tomorrow night! Where are you planning to goto go for dinner?

Nickirose98- Sounds like you have a busy month planned in April. keep focused, and all will be fine! You are doing so well in the "getting healthy" department. It is only natural everything else will fall in to place too! Funny how it happens that way! I know you will rock the test!

Msperception-Glad you are feeling better! Yay on .2 pounds! everybit counts! keep up the good work.

Fullsteamahead- I agree it is definately easier to have things planned, and healthy options available! I took your grilled chicken menu to my best friends house on Monday night, it was so yummy! Her 4 year old decided she wanted me to cook it for her birthday party on Sunday instead of pizza! YAY! It will be easier to stay on plan not having to stare at a pizza box!

JasonsLea- sorry to hear about all the stress! I agree with the rest of the girls here...getting rid of the scale=good idea, but keeping in touch with us here is even better idea. Now more than ever, you will need to vent and get support, even on daily life stuff. We don't want to lose you all together! keep your chin up- as my Mom would say "this too shall pass..."

I have an early morning and long day tomorrow, so off to be I should go!
Good night ladies!

Hi Ladies so nice to come in and read everyones posts.

I was downstairs watching a reality show (housewives of new york, socialites) omg, they are so catty! lol. After watching that it's nice to come in here and get a sweet dose of you gals! : ).

Today went well, good OP day....did my workouts but boy did I have to give myself a good push to get a move on today. I didn't feel like doing anything today but it felt good once I got going, still I was happy when I was done and got to relax for the night!

DH was here today, I went outside and helped out for a bit....but 45 min. out there was nothing compared to his 8 (non stop, I have to bring him food and water or the guy doesn't stop). He is very active and in good shape....cutting trees all day and hauling wood, heavy labor stuff! I wish he would slow down sometimes, I hate to see him get too tired. ANyways, listen to this! He weighed himself yesterday on the wii and then again today when he came in from working outdoors all day and he had a 3.5 lb. loss! lol. I joked around and said, jeeeeeeez I need to get out there and start cutting trees down! When I told him how many ex. min. I got in today, he asked me how many he got, ahhh 480 minutes!!

MsPerception, so glad your feeling better today wtg on the op day too. As far as the month not being over yet, it sure isn't! I really like hearing that and I feel it means so much. I keep telling myself the same thing, I always say a lot can happen in a week but boy a lot can happen in a day or two too!

I had a good lesson on Tuesday girls(the 1.5 lb. loss for the week), I know that that loss came at the tail end of the week because it was either a day or two before that I took a peek at the scale (the day I was frustrated) and was still the same! Glad I kept on trucking and had a lot of water and good OP...the scale eventually moved and was a reminder that even a day or two can make a difference!

Speaking of Weighing In , the last day of the month is Tuesday. I had a thought and wanted to run it by you all to see what you think and also what your plans are. Well officially we have that last Tuesday as part of our plan so I was flirting with the idea of weighing in on Wednesday, April 1...that would give us an extra day. We will have our April thread up by then for sure but could come here that day as well to post. What do you think girls? If your doing Tuesday still then I am too....let me know what you think.

Nicki Rose, what a good idea regarding contacting your high school teachers, nice move! : ) Thanks for letting me know about the zumba, oh that sounds like so much fun nicki, I always loved dance and always thought the latin dances are so fun and sexy too Did you take a class at the gym or do it at home to a dvd ? wtg on an OP day as well.

Scarlet, cleaning sure is great exercise and how nice of you to clean and help your daughter as she is having company. I hope you have a wonderful time at the birthday dinner tomorrow night. We are going Sat. (taking some freinds and their children to celebrate a 40th birthday) and just get together. We are going to mexican scarlet and though I plan to get the chicken fajitas I know the cals will be flying so I plan to do what you did too regarding OP prior, well and after. Oh, I was a slacker in the house today, I didn't even do my dishes and have a lovely sink awaiting me in the morning, lol .

Zoochick, congrats into fitting into those jeanssssssss I'm glad and also on your getting complimented too! Your boyfriends mom sounds sooooo nice, she sounds like a peach! I am glad that you have that support, it means a lot. wtg on having an alternative plan in place incase it rains, sounds like a great plan....keep up the good work : )

Lewisempire, awwww you....that is so nice that you took the recipe over to your freinds house and also that the 4 year old loved it too and wants it on her birthday instead of pizza ? omg! lol Now that's a compliment! How adorable too! Works out good for you too, oh I hear you on that one. That would be sheer torture for me and I would have some but try and limit myself (but that is my number one weakness when it comes to food and also hard for me to limit it if it's right there in front of me). OH lets not even talk about it The dinner was good tonight and we have enough leftover to have another dinner ,so that's good. Hope your sleeping well and have a good day tomorrow : ).

I should get going too, I am going over to my parents tomorrow morning. I can't wait, I miss them so much......I need to get over there more often. I'm going to bring my dad some of the eggs and can't wait until the kids come around again with more! Dad had everything fresh and organic as a kid and he lit right up when I told him about the eggs! I knew he would like that!

I think everyone is doing great in many many ways, weight loss and/or exercise or activity, and just sticking with it and working towards a healthier lifestyle and eating healthier. Tomorrow is our day 3, let's keep on truckin
Night all, catch you tomorrow In MsPerceptions words "It isn't over yet" oh I just love that ok, night girls.

Tonight is dinner out and my daughter is picking and hasn't decided yet so hopefully it will be something I can stay on plan with or relatively stay on plan with...we shall see...if not, then I have a few days left in the month...even if I only get to post my 2 lb loss I would like to post that!!

I also like Ms Perceptions words, It really isn't over yet!!

Talk to all of you later!

I did the Zumba at the gym. At first I was worried about looking silly but I realized that everyone was really there to have fun

I stayed on plan yesterday and am now down to 190. Woo hoo! My bf cooked me dinner yesterday and did such a good job. He even used healthy stuff. Spending lunch in the library working on studying!

Hey girls just in from work and I am pOOOOPPPPED! Just wanted to check in and say a quick hello! Hope you all had a great day! I am pretty proud to say, that I went to the vending machine, with $$ in hand, and talked myself out of it. YAY-that is a huge battle won for me! I will check in with everyone tomorrow afternoon! Keep up the good fight!

I did not have a OP day. I was doing really well until we ran late and ended up eating out for supper. Let's just say I could've handled it better. Too much breaded shrimp and desserts....yes that was plural (I shared with the kiddies)! Oh well, I came home and worked out for almost an hour to attempt to undo some damage. I HATE it when I do that (the messing up part, not the working out part). I regretted it pretty much the instant I left the restaurant. Oh well, the guilt should keep me on track for a few days at least! The bummer is, I had today planned food-wise so it was going to be a really healthy day. I just shopped too long and it had a negative domino effect on me. I was tired and let the kids pick the restaurant.....the rest is working it's way through my intestines!
Thankfully, I actually feel much better now that I exercised and tomorrow is a new, healthy day!

BTW Congrats Lewisempire for winning the battle of wills with the vending machine! You're my hero!
FSA I think weighing on April 1 makes sense since we'd be doing it for the April thread anyway. I'm flexible either way, though. Majority rules.
