Is not wasting the food more important than your health?

I have had to lose the "must clean my plate, must eat the foods in the pantry/fridge" mindset in order to be successful. I cleaned out my pantry the other day and donated everything that I don't want to eat to the food bank. Anything that was already open I threw away.

Seriously. Don't give yourself an excuse to fail. Throwing away a few items will not hurt anyone and it will help you!!!

Heh - on the few occasions I fall off the wagon and have a "must eat something bad" moment, I am foiled because I only have good stuff in the house.

Which is a GOOD thing, I keep telling myself.

Ok I stepped on that darn scale and I'm the SAME!!! I've worked out stayed on plan. I know its a fact that this will happen. But it doesn't make me any less bummed. On a good note I did go out shopping and picked up some new fitness items, So maybe one of those things will kick start something. Geez if I was limber enough I'd kick my own butt!

I figure you can waste the food or waste your time and hard work. It's a choice.

When I started my journey (this time around) I read someone's post..."I would rather waste the food than waist the food."

I think about that often...

OK OK I actually just cleaned out my fridge before even reading this post... but did eat the last of my chicken fried rice left overs

Anyway, thanks for the "food" for thought....

We'll see what happens tomorrow morning.

Down another pound from earlier this week. It's coming off slowly but surely. This is my punishment for self-sabotage. I know better!

Congratulations on the 5#!!! Yay!

At least this means I get to start the next challenge at a high weight instead of a low one

I am a little behind the group on arriving here, but I did loose four pounds before I noticed there was a winner or how this works, but I get it now!

So, thinking in five pound increments helps me to stay motivated and I am starting to get a little tired of eating on plan all the time, so I will see if this will help me!
