Just in case anyone is wondering....5 lbs = 10,500 calories our last challenge lasted about 8 days so that is 2,187.5 calories a day to burn to lose 5 lbs in 8days by cutting down calories consumed or by workin' our booties off!! That is alot for those of you who don't weight very much like in the 150's to 170's!!
So don't be discouraged! If your losing that is great!!
Congrats Melissa! I like this challenge thing! It keeps me accountable. I have been dessert free since Sunday which HUGE for me! My new motivation is to fit better into a size 7/8 pair of Tommy jeans that one of my friends gave me. They fit me, but, are tiiiight, lol! Well, here goes:
SW: 143
CW: 143
GW: 138
YAY! 138 sounds great !! To say see ya to the 140's is so much more satisfying than the taste on my lips of sweets........I just have to remember that!
Congrats!!!
Personally I've been off track those last days. A child that I know is very sick, so I've been taking care of it here at my home, so I've not even been thinking of dieting/exercising. However, He's at the hospital now, So tomorrow is a new day, to a new start.
I'll weigh in tomorrow morning to set my SW...
Goodnight everyone!
WTG Melissa! And all of you losers! We're ALL winners!!!!!!
PS - regarding bathing suits: I am going to buy myself a new bathing suit and I'm going to swim and the whole world and all the fat-haters can burn in @#@$
Sigh, this is slow going, but, I hope I get there! Last night I felt the weight on me for the first time since I stopped eating sweets 5 days ago. I know that sounds silly, but, I think I was mindlessly eating sweets, not caring or thinking about the effect on my hips and belly .
SW: 143.0
CW: 142.5 (-.5)
GW: 138.0
I hope everyone has a great day!
I have caught one of my kids'colds, so, exercise is reduced a bit, sigh. I have a hip problem, so intensity has to be kept low so I try to do longer periods, but, not when feeling icky.

Miriam - Yayyy on the bathing suit decision!!! You'll be fine just don't worry about it and think of all those calories you'll be burning while swimming.
