i just get worried about protein levels etc? as stupid as it sounds, protein is the expensive part of our shopping and i have to limit it slightly due to being a bit poor at the minute haha

Seems like you've got plenty of protein sources. Tunafish in a tin should be a cheapish protein source -- at least it is here.

Paula hang in there. I know it's the worst feeling ever. I just got over my last up/down/up/up/up/big woosh phase. I think some of us just lose this way. It's not fair and it's the most damn annoying thing but it WILL go down if you stay on plan and exercise. I also find once I get over the yuck periods it comes off very quickly for the next few days. Just keep this in mind. Watch your sodium levels also to make sure you're not retaining water. And in a few weeks when I'm back to not losing but gaining instead - remind me of all this!!

I also think Robsia made a good point - from time to time we have to adjust our calories. It may be up or down but I don't think it's realistic to say I'm only going to eat XXX calories a day for the rest of my life.

okay ladies, I am back from visiting my grandmother. There were no scales for 2 weeks. I was on a farm where the social thing to do was eat. I am actually happy with only a 5 pound gain...sigh...I brought all my running stuff, but there wasn't anybody to watch the kids while I ran and no stroller, so virtually no exercise. I am back home and getting back to my normal routine and jumping in on this challenge.

Start 205
Current 205
Goal 200 (again )

P.S. - Josephine, congrats on being in the 160's! Your progress is an inspiration
P.P.S. - The new pic is of me and kiddos on my 30th birthday party!! Can you tell we are happy to be home.

Well, no loss here this morning which is a disappointment. At least it didn't go up.

Congratulations Heather! Nice job!

Well, I have officially lost my mind! I'm up to 218! So I've GAINED 7 lbs since the last challenge.

Some of it's TOM, and some of it is emotional eating. My dog had to go to the vet on Friday because he has a bump on his leg. I noticed it a few weeks ago when it was pretty small and didn't worry about it, but it grew pretty quickly. Anyway, he's having surgery tomorrow to have it removed and I just worry that it may be cancer. We went through this identical situation with my cat a few years ago and it was just awful. It could be just a benign bump, but it's the not knowing that gets to me, you know?

You guys are doing so well--you all keep me from just giving up altogether.

I feel like i'm never home long enough these days to really focus on you girls! I've been doing good since I've been back in my home town.. I will do a weigh in again soon. Im trying to master traveling and being as healthy as possible.. It's heard passing up wendy's number 6 meal!... haha but i digress!!

I'm in a size 18 now.. well 18/20 down from my beginning size of a snug 24! The pounds may not be melting away..but my body is morphing.. it's weird... hehe

You must be putting on a lot of muscle, though, fauxtini, to be able to have lost 4/6 sizes - and that's where it really counts anyhow.
