Good morning Ladies!

Shari, I like it! Is that okay with everyone else? If there's no objects I'll start the thread.

Courtnie- more (((hugs))) It's hard when loved ones are placed in nursing homes due to circumstances we can't help. I know the drs report didn't make things any better. Did you feel better after a good cry? It sucks not having control over our circumstances in life. I'm sorry your having to go thur such a hard time right now. As for the boss thing maybe the new boss will grow on you. Changes aren't fun especially when they are being stack directly one on top of another. (Going thur this myself.) It will get better hang in there. Remember we're here for you if you need to talk or borrow a shoulder.

Shari - that sounds great.

Thanks everyone. I feel better today but I am still having a hard time. Grandma will be okay and my Mom thinks she will be happier where she is. We are going to try and go visit her tonight. She moved into my basement suite so I could keep her company and then not even a month later she fell.

And this thing with my boss leaving. No one really understands - not that I can expect them too because they are not in my place, but it is hard for me to try and get the message across.

This company I work for is a big company. Probably the biggest where I live for the job I do. This was/is my dream job. Before I even went to collage I tried to work here, sent them emails asking them what I needed to know to work here. And then when I started school I found out my now boss took the same program and was a department head here, so I was so excited. And then right after school finished there was an add in the paper for here for the work I did, and I got the job!

So here is my boss, lets call her Stacy - she is amazing. So she runs us. There are lots of departments in the company and because we are the content department we do work for ALL of them. So if advertising needs an add we do, if support finds a problem we fix it, if programming needs a page we make it, etc. So our boss would get all the requests, decided what needed to be done and who should do it.

Well now we don't have a boss, we don't have someone to stand up for us. There are not going to replace her simply because they can not. She has been here for 5 and a half years, there is NO ONE that knows what she does and no one they can hire. So it is just us two left to fend for ourself.

What is going to happen? All the departments are going to get everything they want. She was the only person who could and would stand up for what she thought wasn't right. There are jobs that people wanted done and she refused to do them. So now that she is gone, everyone is going to be asking for what they want and we are going to have to do it.

There is no one to stand up for us. We are going to be blamed for everything because we are the only people with out a manger.

It's going to go for the ****. I am trying to think positive but it is not working. My co-worker is seriously thinking about leaving, he was already going to leave in May/June but is thinking of doing it sooner.

So here I am working for my dream company in my dream job and it is all going to be taken away. My dream job is going to turn into my worst nightmare. Like how do you deal with that? I went to school FOR this job.

If I lose this job I go back to working at taco time. Maybe not exactly, there are other companies but I probably need to move, and it wont be my dream job because most companies require working for clients. We are one of the few who don't have clients.

Sorry that was long, but I really need to vent.

Overall I feel better today though, much better. I am taking some St. Johns Wart and Vitiam B. My mom and I talked about me maybe going to the doctor to get some anti-depressants.

BUT IT IS FRIDAY! YAY! I just hope I can stay on track today and this weekend.

Hope everyone is having a good Friday.

Courtnie- Gee, I'm sorry your work situation will turn so sour after she leaves. If doesn't make sense why they wouldn't replace her ya'll need a buffer for the bull cr@p. I hope your mom and you have a nice visit with your grandma. I am glad your feeling better today.

Where's most of you Ladies at today? I hope your having a good day.

Well, dh is home and want to go take son to see the Grave Digger. Hopefully, its still there the tickets are already sold out.

I am trying to figure out if I ate too much today. I am confused by this, nutritional info says:

CHICKEN SPRING ROLLS (2 PIECES) - 460 cals

Now, the appy is 2 spring rolls cut in half, is 2 pieces two half or the whole appy? the rest of the appy menu gives you the calorie information for the whole appy?

Like the perogie one says 7 pieces, and there are 7 perogies in the appy.

What do you guys think?

Courtnie- Base on the perogies (sushi?) I would count it 460. Dont' know if it right or not though.

Ds is the happiest little boy around. He got his picture taken with Randy (the driver) and a card picture that he got signed by him. He was talk 90 miles a minute about when he saw him last time. lol He also got a headphone set from the radio station that was one per family. So dd got to pick out where we ate. She looked like she's was feeling left out. She got to do the same things except the radio, but it wasn't that great for her.

So 460 for the whole thing? That is what I am thinking, I doubt that half of the appy had 32 grams of protien alone!

Pergoies are little potato things, SOOO GOOD! OMG

What is grave danger?

Courtnie-Yeah. I would count the whole thing as 460. Wow, it's got a lot of protein. Shari's right it's a Monster Truck. How did your visit with your grandmother go?

Well, I'm suposse to be meeting my brother's girlfriend to pick up my niece in less than 30 minutes and I haven't left the house yet. So I'll have to cbl. I hope everyone has a great day.

I figured it was something like that, haha. Monster trucks haha - don't think they have anything like that around here.

I didn't go visit my Grandma last night because my mom and my sister didnt feel like it, guess my sister had to go to a movie with a friend and it would be too rushed, I am sure we will go today!

I didn't eat the whole appy, only half - so I only went over calories by like 60 or so, woo! hard to know for sure because I pulled all the skin off the chicken and they give you the calories with the skin, but I know its at least 100 less.

So Friday night was good, I just have to be good today and tomorrow! I have the worst craving for french toast, and we need to do a HUGE HUGE grocery shop today - today is gonna be so expensive ;(

Happy Saturday everyone!

Hey all! Sorry no posting from me yesterday, but when I got home from work there was a huge power outage, and the power JUST came back on! SO happy to have some heat in here It was cold!

Courtnie - I hope that work situation works itself out! Its really hard to have big changes in work, especially when you spend a LOT of time there - you want it to be a welcoming, comfortable place to be. Sorry to hear about your Grandma. How did the WI go?

hsmom - I too hadn't heard of Grave Digger - my neighbour takes her kids to monster trucks so I bet they know all about it! Sounds like a fun time for your son!

Shari - good name! I love sushi, but it definitely took time for me to figure out what stuff I like! I figured out that I just can't do the raw fish thing, so that definitely limits me! I really do love me some Japanese food!

I was doing realllllly well this week, and then last night with no power we had to have fast food. ugh. I haven't figured out the calories yet, but it's not going to be so good. I am hoping for less than 1,000 calories (in one meal?? SO bad!!), we'll see. I weigh in on Monday, so I better get better here.. I am hoping to hit the halfway mark of my January goal.. which would be a 4 pound loss. Fingers crossed

-Aimee

*fingers crossed* Aimee! I know sometimes fast food isn't too bad, as long as you don't eat too many fries!

WI went good, sorry I forgot to report, started this weekend off at 178.something and weight in at 173.6 - up 13.something since I last recorded a WI (probably in October) but it is okay, two months and hopefully it will all be gone!

So I went and visited my grandma, the home sure is nice and she seemed really happy! Lately she has seemed depressed but she seems to really like it there, it is only her third night, but still!

We did LOTS of shopping today, got lots of food - not all healthy, but mostly low in calorie! lol When I was at Costco I found this "Walk at Home" kit! It has this 5 mile walk video with Leslie Sansone, 2 2pound hand weight, firming belt and walking belt! I have another video by her (walk away the pounds) and its fun, only done it a few times but I look forward to trying this new one! It was only $20 too! I also bought a box of special K (the chocolate one, LOL) and got a free step counter in the box!

So far I have managed to eat pretty good. Not super healthy but within my calories! this is a HUGE this for me, I haven't had a good weekend in a year! I am feeling pretty good, I have been taking St. Johns Wart and Vitiam B though to help with the depression and stress.
