I said no to a donut today. My colleague who has celiac's disease indulged and felt sick. She said I should have stopped her, but really I can only worry about myself. :)

hmm...

well it's early for today, but yesterday I mostly just ate soup, trying to catch up on some weight loss. The hardest part is not eating dinner when I make it.

Well, I haven't had to say no to anything yet today--I had a piece of whole wheat toast with peanut butter and sliced banana on it for breakfast, along with coffee. Yesterday, however, I said no to: Taco Bell drivethru and a box of granola bars at Target. I was telling myself I'd only eat one, then bring them to work for a daily midmorning snack, but I knew it wasn't likely I'd have that much restraint.

NO, damn TV, I am NOT going to sit on the couch and catch up on the 5 shows on my DVR. YES, workout pants & cute blue top, I am puttin' you on and we are going for a run/jog/walk!!! That's how I am choosing to spend my day off.

Well, I'm struggling -- so I thought I'd better post something! I am trying to get back into weight-loss/work-out mode, after months of NOT. Yesterday I said "no" to do-nuts & all sorts of junk food (there is a snack bar where I work, unfortunately). At home, we sort of cleaned out the frig for supper, and I said "no" to two kinds of potatoes. But -- I did not say "yes" to exercise. Hopefully tonight!

I said NO to all the donuts, muffins, chocolate and ice cream staring me in the face when I went to a gas station with a friend. This is TREMENDOUS, especially since I'm on my TOM and am craving junk!

and later to waffles and/or french toast and/or cake and/or DQ. Had an 80kcal ice cream sandwich instead.

Sounds like you got through a lot of temptations. WTG!

I was so angry this morning and it made me want to sit down and pig out on f.f chocolate marshmallow frozen yogurt and natural peanut butter( two of my favorites) I don't keep them in the house anymore, so I was going to walk to the market just to get them. On the way to the market I started thinking, this is stupid, your not going to gain 3 lbs. from binging because your angry at someone, It's not worth it, you are not going to let them do this to you. By the time I got to the market, I didn't even want my favorites anymore. So I bought fruit and greek yogurt instead! I said no to the fattening crap!

YES to a big glass of water and 3FC. NO to leftovers in the fridge.

foxxy511 04-15-2010 07:02 PM

I said NO to a pantry full of nuts, cookies, chips, and snack bars. I said YES to some fat free yogurt and tea!

I said no to the delicious tempting chocolate in the checkout aisle at the grocery store. Instead I bought a bag of oranges. I had one earlier and it was sweet enough to satisfy my sugar cravings. :)

I said no to fries and sponge cake and some tarts. I had one bite of my boyfriends and decided that was all I needed.
Definitely feel better for it!

NightAngel26 04-17-2010 07:54 PM

no...

I said not to making a full on dinner. I counted up my cals and didn't have many left to spend so I had some soup. Yay ME!
