I did good this weekend. I said no to stuffing and chocolate desserts. today, I said no to my fave breakfast foods---it was hard cause it was buffet style. But, I just stuck to the kinds of foods I can eat and tried to ignore the other stuff.

I also wanted some fries today, and after I finished my lunch I was going to order some, but, thought about it for a while, and decided not to.

I said no to a 1020 meal at panera today. I had even budgeted out my calories and everything, was walking to my car, and realized that I didn't NEED all that food. So I took a walk across campus and got a salad instead!

I said no, to that soda I had in my purse all day.

I woke up very hungry this morning, as I didn't eat much for dinner last night (veggies and salad dressing). So, I was tempted by so many things to eat that involved fast food or bread. At this time in the morning, I cannot find a lot of open places that have gluten free items or sugar free items. However, I lucked out and found a place where I was able to get some good and healthy food that will keep me full for most of the day. :) Yippee!

I said NO to a peanut in shells (which I LOVE) and some Easter candy (in fruit shape). This last one doesn't worth all the calories.
They are sitting at the lunch room table right now!!!!

I ate out over the weekend, and I did good in that I said no to free desserts and I said no to bread. I also made sure that I did not overdo it on the carbs. I am really happy about that, because holidays and whatnot can make me feel like I can just overeat because of the occassion. I feel like I didn't stuff myself, AND, I was not uncomfortable after the meal, which isn't usual at these gettogethers because I tend to eat so much.

I am a bit/semi upset at myself in that I gave in on part of the weekend and had a good amount of rice over the course of 2 days. I don't want to make eating that a habit as I can easily binge on it.

hmm...

lets see, yesterday I said no to a big greasy cheeseburger.... I had a couple of scrambled eggs instead.

Last night I said NO to Pizza and yes to yummy fresh homemade salsa.

Today I'm saying NO to the Thin Mints my husband is eating in front of me and yes to a tall glass of crystal light :p. I'm not really hungry anyway. I filled up on veggie soup at dinner.

I brought my chocolate Easter egg to my co-workers so that I wouldn't binge on it next time I have a bad day at work like i did with my other egg :/

I got home really late last night and had a craving for a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. Then I told myself that I'd be a lot happier tomorrow morning if I went without so the preserves went back in the fridge and I went to bed.

Today I said no to a cupcake or a chai latte when I went to a coffeeshop with a friend!! I just ordered a black coffee... and I felt great about it :D

NightAngel26 04-09-2010 07:21 AM

what did I say no to?

well, yesterday I said no to nothing.... but it still wasn't a disaster.... today so far....eh.. havent come across anything yet. Will probably have to say no to ice cream though... it does call me.

Last night hubby was outta town. Kids wanted McD's. They got their meals, I got a grilled chicken salad and didn't touch their food though I deperately wanted to. :carrot:
Last night, despite my son's late night hockey practice, I still got on my treadmill and put in my time.
Today at lunch at the deli, I passed up the yummy looking pot pies, onion rings and processed meat filled sandwiches and opted for a greek salad with grilled chicken breast.
One day at a time. Just gotta remember to get through a family filled weekend without falling off the wagon ;)
