Toobig - you're only 1.5 pounds from your goal for August, right?! And we're only 4 days into the month! Yay you!!

63.7 kgs today. I didn't IF yesterday, I will see if I can fast until dinner then have my cheat meal of the week. Anyone else on this thread an intermittent faster?

i've been eating everything in the world the last 2 days. AND i went out to a concert last night (which involved some, not moderate amount of drinking). I am afraid to weight. Tomorrow is weigh in day, so... I will face the music tomorrow morning even though it's 8 30 am, and i've already eaten calories well into lunch. ha. yesterday, my food consisted of an eggwhite omelet, cheese, cake, and booze. i don't even know what is going on, but I am going to blame hormones.

I haven't been to the studio in 4 days, but will try to go today- I did go for a quick run yesterday, and it felt good!

I've said since day one that self control is my super power... I love to be in control in all aspects of life if I avoid the crap completely I am wayyy better at not having it at all, however if I eat one bad thing all bets are off :/... July was a bad month for me I made myself a promise that August is going to be a great month... I'm the only person standing in the way of that and if I let it be another bad month I'm just going to have start over again in September and starting up is the hardest part

169.5 this morning. I'll take it! My nephew was here on Friday and Saturday and all we did for two days was cook and eat. He is 11 (be 12 next month) and he loves to cook. It is really his favorite thing and with four other kids under foot his step mom doesn't really have time for him in the kitchen. Which I understand. So we cook up a storm when he is here and we have a blast. I guess the calories are worth it but I am sure proud the damage on the scale isn't worse! I was on plan yesterday and I will be on plan all week. Hope everyone has a great day!

woowhoo!! now tell those 170ies to get lost and that you'll never see them again!!! kick them to curb lady!

As for me 163.6 this am... *happy dance* 3.6lbs away from the 150ies!!! FOR REAL?!!?? I know it's going to slow down now and I probably won't see the 150ies for a while but I'm thinking maybe my bad month of July wasn't all that bad maybe it was a boost I needed

woohooo!! everybody is doing so well!

i saw 182 flat (again) this morning. i'll take it since monday is weigh in day, and it's lower then last week.

to be honest with you, my body might have found a happy place- atleast for now.

i am not spending hours tracking my intake. i do keep a mental mind map of caloric intake/ nutrient ratios, but nothing stringent. i know what 4 oz of protein looks like (and often i will weigh high caloric foods), but i give my self free reign on things like veggies/ NON CREAM BASED soups, etc.

i just did w1d2 of c25k today, and im going to the studio for the first time in 5 days. my spine is still achy breaky, but i figure if i'm tired enough from the run (4k, this is a personal best for me??)- i am NOT a runner, but i will be.

I think my current goal for august is to not go to the studio every day. i think i became too obsessed, and too reliant. i will be alternating days - yoga/run/yoga/run - except for today, and maybe some weekends when i have time.

stimkovs- I think that's a great idea.. you have to life you're life! You're getting healthy so that you can live a longer life you won't want to spend it all at the gym

lol i would deffinately spend it all at the studio if given the chance! unfortunately though, statistically it is common knowledge that bikram attracts type a personalities, and sometimes fosters addictions/ocd related to body image because yogis that have a focused practice are encouraged to wear as little clothing as possible- given that you sweat so much, the more skin is bare, the more toxins you can release bla bla bla- but at the same time- looking at a roll for 90 minutes a day, makes you very judgemental of yourself, which kind of creates that air of negativity for some people. the other thing is, the more you practice, the more water your body retains (literally, if you do 4 days of practice, and take a day off- you're spending the day off in the bathroom peeing lol) - so, several days into practice you get that bloated water feeling too.

i actually did a full sequence today!! tomorrow i go back again for more pain train, and Wednesday is c25k w1d3. WOOO.

august is our month chickies!!

and toobig, watch out. im going to catch up :P haha
