174 this morning with clothes on.

I have to start eating cleaner. I can't seem to move past my birthday splurges.

toobig it's hard to move past those! You can do it!!

Yesterday was an ok day... I really need to stop staying up so late, that's when those nasty cravings hit. I had 3 packs of fruit snacks at 1:30 last night. But in good news, I'm back down to the 250s after my hiatus from this board which threw me into the 260s. Yay for being back on track!! I hope y'all have a great day

I just joined 3fc this week so it's late to join in a May challenge, but I hope there's going to be something for June

It's never too late to challenge yourself! ... and hi

toobig, 174 with clothes on is an improvement, yes?
Keep on keeping on!

veggiegirl123, I will most definitely be doing a June challenge. The challenges keep me accountable (for the most part lol)

EatMoreCelery, I am soooo happy to be back on track! Now if only I could stop myself from weighing every day!

how often do y'all weigh in??

Only down a pound this week, but I'll take it. Especially because it means I've officially hit the 10 pounds lost mark for the month of May. Yay!

Hopefully by the 31st I'll be down even more, then bring on the June challenge!

172.5 this morning with no clothes. I am going to stop weighing unless I can do it nude. I like to weigh every day it makes me feel like I am more focused and on plan if the first thing I do every morning is hop on the scale.

In the past I weighed 1-2 times a week but this time around I weigh every day. For me, daily weigh in is a good reminder of my weight-loss goals and plan.

Weighing daily I've noticed that I can gain up to 2 pounds in a day or have days I simply maintain, but I'm getting used to seeing those kind of fluctuations and I'm ok with them as long as I see progress.

Congratulations on meeting your May goal and doing so early!! 10 pounds is a big deal!

toobig
I too, weigh in the buff. I have even been known to take off my watch and rings. Gratz on your pounds down!!

Earlier this week I had a doctor appointment and was shocked when their scale showed around a 5lb higher weight then I had just weighed myself at home that morning. But then I remembered I weigh in at home right after I wake up, with very little clothing on, as opposed to the doctors office where I had clothes and shoes on. It does make a difference!

Hi everyone! Just checking in. I see everyone is making progress, that's great!

I am just getting back to working out after about a month of dealing with a bummed back. Currently about 2 pounds over my ticker weight but I am just so happy to be able to walk around the block again. I know that I can get those pounds off if I can get back to walking. (The other exercises I can do are great and all but I really need to burn cals through cardio to lose at a decent rate.) Also, I have felt so sluggish lately but since getting back to walking, I have tons of energy and just feel happier. I know they say exercising is a mood-booster but wow, I can really tell the difference now.

Just thought I'd give an update. I have been checking the board but haven't been posting a lot. We have a lot going on this time of year with bdays and graduations of loved ones and it's looks like we'll get all of this wrapped up just in time for the family reunion weekend. It's gonna be a crazy month ahead. I fully intend to make this last week or so of our challenge count!

I'm trying to stay on plan during a four day hotel stay and it's tough! Especially at night when I wanted a glass of wine and a snack, which put me over my calorie budget.

This is day two and if I budget in a glass of wine that leaves me 557 cals for dinner out at a restaurant.

Now that I've typed it out, I need to make it happen.

veggiegirl123, find a doc with nicer scales?

Good luck, CoolMom75! ...and have a good time too!

4Star, So glad your back is well enough for you to get some walking in. I too have issues that make the physical somewhat difficult but we gotta do what we can, when we can!

5 more days! Let's keep going!

172 this morning. What a relief. I thought I had done some damage but maybe it was water weight.
