  • Two meals out for mothers day earned me a 3000cal day and a now my face is so puffy and my eyes are swollen. yikes! Clean foods again please. Monday's are my weigh-in day too and I was up 4 pounds. Weight loss used to be so much easier
  • fatklr- 1200 calories? WOW! Is there a reason you are starting so low? Everyone has to travel their own path but I would have been starving on 1200 calories a day when I started. I went to freedieting.com and used their calorie calculator to figure the calorie needs for someone my age, sex, height, and the weight I wanted to be. That is the guide I have used. But it has been over two years and I am only down 90 pounds.

    Fatklr- I still have trouble with the weekends as well. This has become less and less, but I still goof off too much during a weekend here-and-there. Give yourself time and like you said, keep learning as you go!

    Coolmom- I'm sure the 4lbs will come off. I hope you enjoyed your meals out!

    I had a good weekend. We were back in PA for the construction project. There I eat like crazy, but because we are working 10-13hr days, it doesn't seem to make a difference. Today I WI clothed in my pj's at 148.8. That is a good sign since before with the same clothes I would've been 149 or 150. It feels good to be in the 140's!!!
    Exercise has been kinda on the backburner since I've been doing a ton in the yard, house and the construction project. This week I would like to get out and run a little bit. We will see though, this weekend we plan to go back to the construction project again and I don't want to push myself too far.

    Anyhow.. off to clean our room! Later chickies!!

    It's going. I'm finding my way through my recent slump. I spent some time out in the sun over the weekend and my appetite has significantly decreased.     This week has been pretty good. I was super busy yesterday and didn't get to work out but closed the day out at about 1400, which was exactly what I needed for my mindset and motivation, a good day on plan.

    I'm glad you've had a pretty good week! Your post reminded me that I need to get outside more when I'm home. The farther away from my kitchen I can be, the better.

  • 4 star- I take calcium with vitiman d. Is that enough vitiman d? The chews that I take taste pretty good and they are only 20 calories.
  • Yesterday was my birthday and it turned out great. For some reason that is usually not the case.

    We have company so I can't run to the dining room naked and weigh, which is really throwing me off. Its weird how the smallest things are nerve racking.

    Here are some recommendations for intake. I haven't been taking multi-vitamins lately so I think I just ran a little low.
  • I did it!!! I stepped on the scale this morning and I have officially lost 100lbs!! 100 lbs in less than 20 weeks!!! I am blown away. I did not think this could be done!!

    I’m still around and still trying to figure out how to lose weight while working in a restaurant. I’ve been mostly on plan, although I’ve had a few off plan days lately. I stepped on the scale and wowza – a 10 lb gain! The weird thing is, I don’t think I look like I’ve gained 10 lbs. My clothes that didn’t fit me 5 lbs ago still fit, and my measurements are still the same. I can’t figure out if I’m delusional or what’s going on… Maybe period weight + sore muscles? A girl can hope, right?

    Don't worry too much about the 10 pounds ... just get back on your plan and keep with it. Never give up!

    Are there some lower calorie foods you can eat at work or maybe salads or perhaps take your meals to work with you?
  • This past week has been a crazy busy one, but I somehow managed to stick to calorie counting despite having time consuming things to do practically every evening. And this morning I was down another 2 pounds, woohoo!

    One more pound to go and I will officially have a 10 pound loss for the month of May. (fingers crossed!)
