Hi Joyful! Everything looks sooooo yummy. I'm trying to find your recipes at caloriecount (So many curry chicken recipes there!) Can you tell me what the portion sizes are?

I see you've beat 154 - Hooray!!! Do you have any suggestions for breaking through a plateau? 3 weeks and no change on my scale.

Funny you said this because today I started eating the Amy's meals again. I have so so many of them in my freezer and I really do enjoy the meals and the plan, so right now while I am not being creative with my foods - AMY'S MEALS IT IS!!!!

I did feel really balanced on that plan... so since I have been at a standstill anyway on my weightloss, I may as well just go with those. Whatever.

It started raining there? That's the pitts! I know people who will run in the rain but I AM NOT ONE OF THEM! LOL.

I am going to try to get a run in today too as well and hit the weights this evening. Gotta do it!

OH! --and those hungry days? OH my gosh! I hate em.. what is it with that? Its like an inner beast that just needs more and more food. So odd! Please keep the beast over there and not send him my way! Thanks!

Have a great day!

No...not yet. We're supposed to get rain late tonight or tomorrow. I think like 2-3 inches! You'd better batton down the hatchets over by your way too...I think you're getting hit with the same storm.

I'm mowing my lawns today (I have 4 of them and it takes me 4 hours just to mow it all). So I don't feel too bad about my left knee.

Still hungry...it's only 1pm and I'm already over 1,000 calories...HELPPPP!!!:

Hey Slimmmmmmm!!!!! I remedied those nasty "hungries" last night with some jamaican food (homemade) and 3 slices of pizza! Yup...that did the trick. Strange thing though...after all that food, I still wasn't stomach burstin' full, but "satisfied".

It also may have added to my hunger the fact that I worked in my yard for 5 hours yesterday, with a non-self propelled mower covering hills, etc. and then trimmed all the edges using my gas powered trimmer! I know your all probably wondering...what kind of a lawn must this woman have that would take 5 hours? I actually have a front, back and 2 side lawns, 10 fruit trees, 90 azaleas, and 10 rose bushes to care for as well. I could get a marathon style workout just doing my own lanscaping. I don't even want to mention the summer time when I open my pool...and the maintenance work there. Uggghhh...but it's soooo beautiful and much fun and I am thankful to be able to have the things I do...so bottom line..."if you wanna play...then you gotta pay!"

Breakfast - Pumpkin Raisin Muffin, 2 Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage - 219 cals.
Snack - Pumpkin Raisin Muffin - 139 cals.
Lunch - Shrimp and Cod Alfredo over brown rice linguine, stir fry veggies - 350 cals.
Snack - Atkins Protein Bar - 240 cals.
Snack - 30g unsalted cashews - 180 cals.
Snack - Skinny Cow Truffle Ice Cream Pop - 100 cals=YUM!
Dinner - Thai Chicken Curry over bulgar wheat w/fresh salsa, spinach - 340 cals.
Snack - 15g unsalted cashews - 90 cals.
Snack - 94% fat free Popcorn - 100 cals.
Snack - 2 Pumpkin Raisin Muffins - 278 cals.
Snack - 3 slices DiGiorno 3 Meat Pizza - 787 cals.

Total Calories: 2,823 cals.

EXERCISE:

No Running today

MUST RUN today...especially with the way I'm eating...MUST RUNNNNN!!!!

*VENT ALERT* - Ok...so I go shopping this morning for some canned pumpkin. Must have went to 6 different supermarkets (including to 2 different Walmarts), and to my suprise...NO PUMPKIN! Finally, at my local whole foods store, I ask a store clerk, "is there some kind of worldwide supply shortage of pumpkin?" She responds..."yes, it started back in 2009 with bad crops due to the rain...!" I think I almost had a panic attack and passed out! Nooo...say it isn't so? Not my beloved Pumpkin? But how will I make my breakfast muffins so moist and delishous...I thought?...

So home I went on an "internet quest" to find my canned pumpkin...(more like desperation). Then I notice Amazon has it, but it's like $75 for 12 cans...then Ebay wants $18 + shipping for 2 cans. Ok...by this time I'm freaking completely out...

Finally, I find a Walmart that has the small cans (15 oz) of organic pumpkin for $3/can and the large cans of pumpkin pie mix (which is loaded with sugar..grrrh!). So I buy all 7 cans of organic pumpkin, and 2 cans of pumpkin pie mix (for emergencies only)! When I get home, I check the internet again, and I found a supermarket chain out of the midwest selling the large cans (28oz) of pure pumpkin for $3/can. I buy another 12 cans online and finally can exhale a sigh of relief!

Folks...think about this the next time you draw funny faces on food and set it outside on the front porch to rot (in the name of halloween!) People need to wake up and smell the pumpkin pie!!!

Shortage of pumpkin? really? I have to take a look in my stores and scope out the situation! That's crazy! I can't imagine there not being any when I get there.

You have no idea... Everytime I see a pizza commercial my mouth waters!! OMG! It just seems like as of late, I crave pizza.... yumm.. stuffed crust, thick, gluten-filled REAL pizza! LOL! I want the real deal! Give me DiGiornos..give me Pizza Hut.. just give it to me! LOL.

Well I won't be seeing any cheat meals for a while so I need to get over it! LOL!... But at least you got to enjoy!! I'll just live through your cheat meals for now.

Although I HATE to post this...today is weigh-in day and I must pay the piper...

Official weigh-in - 157.4

Now for the good news...yesterday evening I ate out (late) at a friend's house. It was all homemade delishous foods (I actually cooked the rice/peas, steamed spicy cabbage and homemade chocolate bundt cake w/vanilla glaze). There was soooo much delishous foods there. I am actually PROUD of myself for not gorging. I had a very small portion of curried fish w/gravy, 2 slivers of pepper steak, rice/peas, steamed cabbage and a baked chicken thigh...and a small 150-200 cal piece of chocolate cake (I made it from my low cal cookbook).

Foods I passed on: KFC, homemade cornbread & soda....it was hard to resist the KFC though! All in all...I've just been really really snacky, eating every 5 seconds it seems. I'm sure I'm carrying lots of water weight as I haven't ran in 3 days.

Well...back on tract today...if this weight loss journey is for life, then I MUST be able to treat myself (without calling it a binge) and get back on the wagon when I'm done enjoying myself.

Breakfast - Pumpkin Raisin Muffin, 2 Jimmy Dean Turkey Sausage - 219 cals.
Snack - Banana - 100 cals.
Snack - Activia Light Yogart, 3 prunes - 100 cals.
Lunch - Shrimp and Cod Alfredo over brown rice linguine, spinach - 350 cals.
Snack - Pumpkin Raisin Muffin - 139 cals.
Snack - Skinny Cow Truffle Ice Cream Pop - 100 cals.
Snack - 1/4 cup pineapple - 80 cals.
Snack - 94% fat free Popcorn - 100 cals.
Dinner - Jamaican Curry Chicken over curry black beans, green beans - 560 cals.
Snack - small Navel Orange - 45 cals.

Total Calories: 1,793 cals.

EXERCISE:

Running - 5.4 Miles!!! VERY STRONG Run...must have been all those CARBS I ate this weekend (I think what I did is actually called CARB LOADING in BB'r terms..) who knew? Anyhoot...I love DiGiorno 3 Meat Pizza (in case you didn't notice...lol!)

Calories still a little high today...but diet completely better than this weekend. I must be PMS'n this week...cuz I'm just a hungry girl! I MUST EAT when I'm hungry...this keeps me sane. That said, as long as I get my run in at least 4 times/week, I'm good eating high calories...my body seems to revv up on high calories and long runs. But when I go for more than 2 days without running, I can actually feel my metabolism slowing down...hmmm...strange..I know.
