Too bad about the catering thing... I think you should definitely put together a cookbook though! That'd be pretty easy to self publish and sell on the internet. It'd be great to have a bunch of healthy, freezable recipes with nutrition facts already calculated.

Thanks everybody!!!

I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo on a hunger kick this week. HELLLLLLPPPPPPPPPP!!!! Somehow I convinced myself that since the pie was made of Pumpkin...it was healthy...and had a free for all! For me it seems that overeating goes hand in hand with NO EXERCISE. I've gotta start getting in my running early so that I can get it over with before this and that come up during the day. Ok..sooooo...here we go again. New Day. New Me. I've been eating like a MONSTER...it MUST STOP NOW!!!!

Breakfast - 2 Pumpkin Raisin Muffins, 2 JD Turkey Sausage links - 358 cals.
Snack - NONE
Lunch - Seafood Alfredo over spinach quinoa, spinach - 300 cals.
Snack - 2 slices of pumpkin Pie - 400 cals.
Snack - 94% fat free Popcorn - 100 cals.
Dinner - Sweet-n-sour chicken over bulgar wheat, stir fry veggies - 330 cals.
Snack - banana - 100 cals.
Snack - yet ANOTHER slice of Pumpkin Pie! - 200 cals.
Snack - unsalted cashews - 200 cals.

Total Calories: 1,988 cals.

I know toooo well about the " No Exercise = Increased HUNGER!". I have no idea why that is but you know I figured that one out about myself a long time ago! Its so darn crazy to me but its definitely the truth! I can exercise 45 minutes to 2 hours in the morning and my appetite will be suppressed almost until noon or sometimes way after noon... But if I get up and go straight to work, I will want to eat by 630-7am! You would totally think it would be the opposite since expending energy revs things up! I love the controlled feeling that I get from exercise. That's why even on my off day the other day, I still made sure I did some kind of exercise in the morning just get my mind in that mode. I just ended u doing a couple of 10 minute trainer videos, but it *DID* "get my mind right" for the day!

Good thing is -you've identified the problem and can make appropriate changes! Sometimes a good change is all our body needs to renew and get rolling again !!!

So let's get this thang moving and reach our goal weights! So close to the finish line so let's cross this thing together!

P.S- One good thing about you not running for a few days -- your knees probably needed the rest!

Joyful, has something been worrying you, or perhaps anger? Both of these emotions will cause me to eat-eat-eat... You've been so steady with your food plan up until last week. Hang in there!

Awwwhhh...thanks guys! I just figured out why I've been eating sooooo OUT OF CONTROL this past few days...."Aunt Flo" just paid me a visit! But honestly...I feel better now...at least I KNOW it was just hormonal and not me completely losing my mind!

Gwen - Yunno, it's funny you ask that...I was wondering the same thing cuz my mom was in the hospital for a few days and then when she got out she has been drivin' me nuts! Then the stress of raising a "pre-teen" daughter (all you mom's out there KNOW what I'm talkin' bout! haha!) But now that Aunt Flo dropped by this morning...it seems it was just good old fashioned PMS!

Thanks so much for your support ladies...you guys are what keep me going! It's soooo easy to get right to the end and poop out of steam. It's like having "senioritis" the last year of high school and suddenly getting the bright idea that you can just "get your G.E.D." and really don't need to finish the last month of school! Since today is day 1 of TOM, my hormones should fall rapidly and subsequently my hunger (which is already stabilizing).

Hey all!!!

I know it looks bad, but actually...I had a pretty healthy weekend! On friday I ate some Jamaican food for din...din, and had a couple slices of pumpkin pie throughout the day, but this weekend was all work and healthy eating. Mowed the lawn, passed on dessert and KFC at a cookout, cleaning the pool and outdoor jacuzzi, powerwashing the pool deck, HUGE doggie poop cleanup, and running 4 days this week. I've already taken a big chunk out of these chores, but this is what I'll be busy doing all week.

That said, I'll have no time to log my food here, but will continue to eat my regulars, and keep my calories down.

No weigh-in this week due to TOM....but will weigh-in next Monday. Hopefully by that time I will have made goal already!

Have a great week everybody!

Thanks Emme!

Sooooo...ate well yesterday. Working my butt off this week (getting pool & jacuzzi ready), so I'm really not worried about going over my calories. All I do all day is sweat and at the end of the day...I'm completely exhausted. The good part of working like this is that while you can eat (pretty much) whatever you want, your appetite goes out of the window. All I really longed for yesterday was nice cold, rich & creamy fruit protein shake with lots of ICE! Made another pumpkin pie last night. Looking forward to a couple of slices today!

No running yesterday - plan on knocking out a quick 5 today - Will report back later this eve. Have a great day all!

Talking It's official - POOL's OPEN!!!

Here's the ALMOST finished product of all the yard work/pool/jacuzzi opening I've been doing. THIS has been my exercise for the past several days. Today is the last day of hard labor and back to running I shall go!

Thought I'd post pics so you could all get a visual when I say, "I've gotta mow my lawn"!

Here's a few more! Excuse the darkness of the 1st pic...I took it late last night when I finally got done with powerwashing the pool deck and area. Oh the smell of BLEACH!

I actually didn't take a pic of one of my yards...but you get the idea! Takes me 5 hours just to mow. The pool deck is HUGE and takes about 6 gallons of bleach to clean. Today I've just gotta scrub the pool chairs and furniture. Clean the bbq grill. Take out the weedwacker and trim all the grassy/weedy edges (this should be fun..yeahhh!?!) oh yeah...and the most fun part of the day...pick up piles and piles of doggie poop all over the yard. Uggghh...note to self - train dog to poop in ONE AREA!
