2 to 3PM:
-Low sodium vegetable and pasta soup = 60
-Pita pocket = 60
-Lettuce = 5
-Laughing cow light = 35
-4 Slices turkey breast = 40
Total: 200
6PM:
Hubby and I decided to make mini "pizzas" on fiber one multigrain english muffins.
Each mini pizza:
1/2 muffin: 50
Pizza sauce:4
Cheese:20
Pico de gallo: 3
Mushrooms: 1
Bacon bits:10
Total: 88
I'll be having 6 of these (which is 3 english muffins): About 530 calories all together
Also, a vegetable medley of green beans and baby potatoes: 125
Total: 655
Plus: While preparing dinner I, ahem "snacked" on the ingredients. So, we'll conveniently call it 155 calories.
-Gum X 12 = 60
Grand total:1200
Side note: Raw mushrooms seem to make my tummy ache

@Tornadosiren: Well I'm definitely not losing 1.5 to 2 pounds/week (I WISH!) but I am still losing slowly, which I don't mind hehe
However, I usually lose that deficit via going out one night and having too many drinks or something like that, so that's why I say I'm maintaining. I do want to lose a few more pounds, but my mind is not FULLY in it. I'm trying to get it together but I have a lot on my plate (lol) right now.
I see..that makes a lot more sense to me. You are maintaining by being extra good most of the time to allow yourself some serious fun when you want. Personally, I think that is a good goal. And you would not be losing the 1.5 to 2 per week I am. At my height, and my weight, I am still overweight..I just left obese 1 pound ago, in fact. Whereas you are in a regular bmi, so your body is gonna be a lot more stubborn than mine. Enjoy those nights out. What you are doing is what I plan on doing as well. I have no issue at all living on 1100 to 1300 per day..so on those days when I want to hit the 2000 mark, I have a nice big buffer for weekly calories.

@punkrprincessa: Haha we really are calorie counting twins. I just do so much better when I count everything. I hate that nagging feeling that I'm trying to "hide" some of my food by not writing it. Those little coffee/sweetener/gum calories can really sneak up on you. Plus, seeing it in writing makes me *try* to have less of the sweeteners and gum lol.
Btw, I loooove Arctic Zero! We had some in a store about 25-30 minutes away and I'd drive up once a week to get a few (ok, like 12ish) for the week, but I've gotten lazy and stopped. Now the arctic zero website has changed some things up and it doesn't say if they're still there
So today, I'm going to post my calories for the day afterward because we're going to a birthday lunch at a friend's house and what I eat there will sort of dictate what I eat for the rest of the day.
I did pretty good this weekend, went a little over on calories but I worked out really hard on Saturday AND Sunday- working out on the weekend is a big deal for me! lol
Dinner at my parents so I don't know exactly. I am def going to work out on my Mom's treadmill tho while I watch the season premiere of Gossip Girl tonight yay!
Hey everyone, so lately the not planning has been really working for me. It's helping me get my mind off my next meal somehow. Here's what I had today:
7:30AMish
-Cocoa puffs = 130
-1/2 cup skim = 40
-Gum X 2 = 10
This seems like the best place for me to post my menus.. I have counted calories throughout my weightloss journey, & have also utilized The Insulin Resistance Diet method of linking protein with carbs to keep my appetite under control. It's been difficult to find others interested in The IRD, & I've learned that for me I have to count calories to lose, so I hope it's okay to jump in with my menu plan for the day.
On Awakening: Coffee with 2 T. half & half, 40
B: Sandwich made of 2 lite WW toast-100, 2 slices LF ham-70, 1 egg-70 and 8 oz. 2% hot milk with a bag of English breakfast tea steeped in it-130.
D: SF strawberry milkshake-180 (1 serving frozen strawberries in blender with 1 c. 2% milk & splenda), cold plate of 2 slices LF ham-70, radishes-10, celery-10, green olives-50.
Total calories = 1080 This leaves me room for a snack of 1 svg. mixed nuts-170 if it's needed.
