Farn~OMG what a lousy thing about having to leave the clothes in Mexico~that totally sucks. About the friends thing~just remember those people will all notice you are getting smaller~and none of those size 2 girls are gonna be smaller~there gonna all be the same ole size 2~So u should get all the attention without even thinking it! cause your gonna be more noticable & interesting because your a newer you!:D maybe a little larger than the other girls but smaller than u was at other times & u are a beautiful girl~there gonna think your a real hottie!(TRUST ME!) OH & an idea I did/still do alot during size changes~Buy used if possible~Or If you buy new try to Get stuff with drawstrings or stretch waist that will last through a few sizes~Also leggings are in style right now & will fit through several sizes ~for tops get the stretch belts that are back in style & When they get big Place a stretch belt around the waist to get a look that you wanted it to be a bit big~!It's very stylish right now.U can also do dresses that way just add a belt around the waist when it gets to big~HUGS!

I think memorial day is what it will be just got google what day it is this year~LOL susieyarb~I never thought I would fit back into my 20's then it happened ~cause I had a booty that would have made JLO jealous~LOL I freak out sometimes to see its gone more or less~Believe me everything shrinks~I tried on a pair of size 7's When I wore a size 12 and I could only bearly get my feet in them ~and no way could I begin to pull them up I was afraid they would get stuck cause I bearly got my foot through them~So I tossed them in A never in my dreams bag~Well They actually fit now~I do not quite no what to think of it~its exciting & weird all at the same time. It took me several months to even be comfy in my bed again cause the extra cushion was no longer there~& I could have sworn that it was big bones or just large cause that was my frame~& with each new pound it has melted away~most of it~& I have a booty now ~I hope JLO Would still be jealous of~LOL But it is super tiny And unreal to me most days~As for arm flab the more I lose the more they tone up~I have a little bit of flab on my upper arms but nothing to bad~It was worse when i was bigger~It goes away a little more each week it seems like.~And anything is better than they was in my before pics~LOL~Just hang in there & u will be thrilled with how small that booty & u can & will become! HUGS TO ALL~I got a zillion things to do 2morrow So I will type again as soon as possible.......OH got another new weight today 157.4~was 157.8 yesterday! not much of a change but I have only been losing 2 to 3 pounds a month now for the last 2 months or so ~So seems huge to me.Guess i am on a plateau Or whatever they call it ~I am sleepy so My brain aint working~HOPE EVERYONE HAS A SUPER MONDAY!:D |

I have squeezed my butt into a pair of 16's... 16 regulars! I had to fight to button them (not laying on the bed though)... so they don't really "fit" but they're on and buttoned and zipped... which is more than I can say for the last I don't know how many years! :carrot::carrot::carrot::carrot:

Farn - I think the only friends I have are all tiny, petite and pretty...even my sisters. I have just been the fat one. So I just do me. I never worry about the shallow fellows. Not worth the effort. I would go to Goodwill and see if I could find some summer clothes. From now on...pack for a one day trip and then you will have enough for two weeks!! LOL
MK - I'm with you, Memorial Day sounds like a good new challenge. My mind is already working on that day. Susie - Hope you had a good night's rest. I see ONEderland for you in the next couple days. KDM - Was it you that said you get to a goal and think you can relax for a minute? I realized that's what I had done. I wasn't working out as hard as before I got in that dress. When it dawned on me yesterday I cleaned everything in the house including the garage. I got up this morning like I used to and did my 30 Day Shred. I have my clothes for a good workout at lunch. NIGHT - :rofl::rofl::rofl:I caught a vision of you getting in those pants!!! Congratulations. Keep up the good work. I am so happy to have you all in my life...even if it's just on the computer. It's been so long since i've been on. All of you seem to be doing really well and I'm so proud of all of you! A quick update for me... so we've been doing our hardwood floors and they are finially done! not we are doing the moldings...still living in the living room..no pun intended...we will move all the stuff into the front of the house once we are done with the moldings....that's why internet has been hard due to the office being in the front. Lots has been going on with school...2 weeks left! I have to study study study...and then I'm done! So my weight has stayed the same...118.4 so I made my challenge goal! I wanted to see if it's keeping off and it is. Still not eating the fast food, had to eat subway a few times cuz of the floors but that's it! it's been 30 days without pop too. To clarify about my giving up pop....I'm not giving up caffiene all together...no no....I'm drinking my coffee in the morning..I just switched from regular to lite coffee(half reg, half decaf)...and that's it. no pop, energy drinks...teas...nothing...just water. I have to have my coffee in the morning or it's not a pretty sight! lol ;) I haven't been able to exercise yet, but I'm more focused on these last two weeks. Oh if I do well on my one final then life and all my prayers have been answered! Well that's it for now, I'll be back on later to get to all of you! Hope you have a wonderful day! |

Cause if so the meds will help~ Anyways, HE thinks my doc has been treating me for asthma & emphsema that I do not have~WHO KNOWS~I am hopeful but still going to the lung doc too just to be on the safe side~~Still happy I may have an answer. HOPE EVERYONE HAS A SUPER DAY! GLAD I AM BACK TO DOING BETTER SO I CAN BE MORE OF A PART OF THIS CHALLENGE!! |
I have had a lot of catching up to do! I've been scarce as I've been down and didn't want to bring down this thread. I was back up to 263, but as of this morning, I hit a new low. 258.5. Makes me excited.
Got a good workout in this morning. Hopefully these next 2 weeks I can reach my goal of working out 3x a week. I will be happy to get as close to 250 as I can. Hoping to see 254 at least. :) |

I just re-worked these Lemon Sponge Puddings and they came out to only 69 calories each and they're big! I subbed egg substitute and only used one real egg yolk. I subbed 3/4 skim milk and 1/4 whole. I subbed all Splenda instead of sugar. I subbed Moove Over Butter for real Butter. If y'all want me to write out the re-worked recipe for you I will. It is sooo good and tastes cheater-ish, but it's not! I'll take some of my own pics and add them here in a bit when my daughter gets off the big computer. |
I gained again this morning, it's from Saturdays binge at the buffet. I'm up to 109.9! When I get this close to 110 I panic. That's up 3.5 lbs just from one day, that sucks. I had 1040 cal. today, hopefully I'll start losing tomorrow. I'll never lose almost 5 lbs. for the challenge.

Shylah, keep on going! Like you, not sure I will reach my goal, but I'm determined to get as close to 230 as I can! I did lose 1.5 lbs over the weekend, which was a nice morale booster after only losing 1.1 lbs for the entire previous week! I guess I've lost enough now that I probably will not see a 3 lbs/week loss anymore. Hopefully I can at least average 2 lbs/week for a while. I did get to change my avatar today...40 lbs gone in less than 4 months! Woo-hoo! :) |

jiggle--how is 30DS?? i just bought it on ebay and hope to start by next week...does it just kick your butt??? how many days a week do you do it?? jdon--congrats on keeping away from the pop! that's a big accomplishment!!! AND maintaining while you're trying to finish school WITH no pop?!?! wow, girl! that's huge!! LOL)...then depending on how often you're supposed to do 30DS, i will work that in somehow... since I only lost 1.2lbs last week, I'm hoping to lose atleast 2 this week...a small hope inside of me is wondering if that 1.2 isn't really more and that maybe on Friday I was having an "up day" with my normal wt. fluctuations?!?!?!?! a girl can hope, right? :D |
Very quickly... I haven't been in here for a while so I'm sure I've missed a lot, but work has been crazy. It's just that time of year - it goes up and down and up and down and right now, it's up! But that's OK - it's only for a couple of weeks so I'm not too worried. Started back at the gym today after being off for three weeks due to having the world's worst cold - I felt like total crap. Then I had two days of eating anything I wanted on Friday and Saturday, which ended on Sunday when I had a day of detoxing with just fruit, vegs, water, and then an omelet for dinner because I knew I'd need something to work out on the next day. So - working out and eating right is my mantra for the forseeable future. :)

Just on for a quick sec...But wanted to answer you Kdm
HE placed me on valium Instead of xanax & he also placed me on prozac I start the meds 2morrow~He also set me up for a lung x-ray & said my regular doc should have done that the day he thought I had asthma Then emphysema~I told him I smoked for years & he said he still thinks it is totally anxiety~That & a touch of compulsive obsessive disorder. Both treatable with the meds above.~I am so hopeful this is my problem cause I so badly wanna go play out in the snow with my kids this next winter we have~I know it seems silly to wanna have something be your problem but this is treatable more so than actual breathing issues I would think.I am actually very pissed that my regular doc has treated me for asthma even though I told him ~I never ever ever wheeze or cough or anything~I just get super short of air...if its "JUST" anxiety I am gonna so tell him off!I have already wasted 8 years of my life avoiding cold air & super hot air.If it is breathing issues I will do my best to do what they suggest to me.....I should know soon~About a month or so~After waiting 8 years...Ugh sorry to blab on & on~I gotta go though cause I gotta get some sleep.(p.s~so much for my quick sec~LOL OH & I hope you love your ebay purchase!) Im starting to feel the pressure at work, ive got so much to learn ,arg! I just wish it wasnt full time...just one day off during the week would help:( anyways. I know i shouldn't be complaining when there are so many out of work. Maybe my tune will change when the paychecks start rolling in?(haha) well...everyone have a good day and kick butt in those workouts!:) |
KDM - 30DS is not for sissies. If you are ready for a real workout and results you will get them. I'm doing well with it but my whole body hurts if I miss a couple days and go back to it. Which is what I had done because I was going to the gym everyday. I like the results of 30DS better than the gym and it's only 20minutes.
Susie - I want that recipe for the yummy goodness!! How are things with you and your trip to ONEderland? Misspriss - Just Keep Breathing!!! The pressure will ease up soon. Actually, I you don't think about all you have to learn and just get what you can out of each day then it will be better sooner. Well yesterday was a great workout and eating day. I actually ran a mile for the first time on the treadmill. I felt real good and wanted to start hollering but it was too many people in there. One thing that bothered me a little was I told my sister that I ran a mile and she was like wow...then she asked if it was on the treadmill and I said yep then she said, "OH". As if running a mile on the treadmill doesn't really count. I told her running a mile on a treadmill or anywhere is not that easy and suggested she try it. She said she has never been able to really run...even though she's only about 125lbs. (WHATEVER it was an accomplishment for me and I didn't let her make it seem so small but I was still feeling some kinda way about it.) I'm starting to see more definition in my arms. I figure no one else will really see it for a few more pounds. The challenge I've been having is with clothes. The clothes I fit last month are getting bigger on me and the clothes that didn't fit are fitting now. However when I go shopping it's hard to find something that fits. Then there's the thing with they don't have a size 18. I have decided that I will not be trying on any more clothes until the end of the challenge like on the 29th but I will keep working my but off. There are only ten days left so I will be hunkering down. |
I don't really have anything to report, but I just looked at my calendar and ----Holy Cow! The month is almost over!
