Thanks for the Congrats ladies!!

I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Happy Easter!

Remember to try and stay OP when eating all the yummy things today! Thats my goal for today, and I am going to do it!!

Beach - Glad you got to watch everything on TV, but Im still sorry you couldnt be there. Ill be watching for your W-I tomorow!

Prinny - Nothing like awesome drunken cardio. I was doing that way before losing weight, however, eating like a hog balanced that out to mean nothing. LOL

Alright, time to get the kiddos dressed in their Easter best, and its off to my parents' house soon!

I am SO SORE. ARGH!!! I need to try and play good dancing music at home at least once a week when I am not going out for a cardio workout to get these muscles used to that again. I actually used to be a dancer once upon a long long time ago.

You know I am getting kind of frustrated with the scale though. I have a trip mid June and I know it really isn't possible to be to my goal by then but I want to be SO BAD.

I love that you posted a pic, Vegas! That's great; I can't wait to see that number on my bathroom scale.

I'm in a great mood this morning, because the scale only flitted up to 193. Last week I was bummed that it didn't say 195, but now I'm all giddy from what I've dubbed the "double drop."

Also, prinny, I've always thought dancing is the most fun cardio.

Good Morning Ladies

Hope you all had a great holiday. Our was quite but nice.

Its finally "D" Day I go to the doctors to have my ankle/leg checked on.

My sister gave me a scare Eeker last night when she called and hoped I didn't have Achilles heels as she told me" if I don't get it right away they have to operate and I might limp for the rest of life." She's all good news!!!

Than on the better note she told me that my DD Her DH and my DS and the family had a wonderful time at her house. The kids like plain rigtoni noodles as the put them on there fingers and eat them from there. At least that made me laugh.

W-I and I gained as expected.Even if it was.3 it now brought the scale up 1-lb.Hope its water retention from my painful leg muscle.

VEGAS-Didn;t do good at my W-I this morning I think its might be water retention form my bad leg muscle. Here's to next week.

PRINNY-Hope your leg muscle feels better today'

WHITE PICKET FENCES-Big Congrats that the scale co-operated with you and should you a 2 lbs loss.

Have to go, will post later my doctors results

Hi everyone!

White - Congrats on your loss, AWESOME!! You've lost so much already! I cant wait until I can say Ive dropped a full 60lbs.

Beach - Im sorry about your gain, and really hope its water. A friend of mine has heel spurs, and she is very heavy. It feels like something is sticking in her heel all the time. Please let us know how your Dr appt goes!

I am proud of myself! I did great yesterday! I ate:

A little bit of baked ham, all fat cut off of course.
Half of a baked sweet potato
1/4 cup of low fat mashed potatoes (no butter, VERY little salt, & nonfat milk)
1/2 cup of fresh green beans
1/4 of corn

I skipped the mac & cheese, regular mashed potatoes, & my favorite, my dad's homemade green bean cassarole made with sour cream, 3 cheeses, & those crispy fried onions.

For dessert I had a Weight Watchers dessert, 170 calories & it was YUM. I also had a cup of coffee.

I skipped 3 kinds of pie, and 2 kinds of cookies!

This was my first holiday test (I started this December 28th) & I am so proud of how I passed it!

Just got home from the doctor and he told me he saw a small tear in my ankle but not enough for a booth or cast.Showed me the xray, and I must say I have cute footsies

He told me do RICE method[rest, ice, compression & elevate]told him I do that already. He also said that if the pain doesn't go away in 6 weeks I should come back to see him.So the only thing I can do along with RICE is to take Ibuprofen & Dr Scholl's arch support,as my arch is falling.

Thanks goodness that's over.

Now we're going to wait for my DD phone call to let us know what time she's going to arrive tomorrow. Bad thing there nothing opened here on the Cape until the end of MAY.So we have to make our own fun.

Have a great evening will post in the morning

Beach - Glad its nothing major! I was advised the same thing for my bad sprain and remember how awful it was, so I hope you get better soon! Have a wonderful time with your DD & your GC!

Ive been disgustingly lazy today. So tired, cant get motivated, and I have a headache. It been like this pretty much all day. I hope I feel more like myself tomorrow.

beach bum Glad it is only fairly minor!

I am making plans to go dancing more, but with less beer, lol. Maybe once a week? I think that should help the cause! It'll also be FUN. I need more fun and variety in my exercise or I am going to get sick of it. Since I absolutely can not do any kind of outside activities during the day due to sun sensitivity and allergies. Plus it's going to be harder to work out at all once it gets hot. I can't take heat. Anything above 75 is uncomfortably warm for me.

TMI:
I was up a bit today but I think it's cause my system is uh, well there's no really delicate way to put it, backed up a bit. I realized I haven't had any coffee in a few days and I blame that. Had some coffee and I feel more... liberated. *ahem*

Prinny - The dancing plan sounds great! I wish I could do something like that right now. ALL of my close friends are pregnant, seriously, all of them. So unless I want to take my little sister who's under age, or my mom, Im screwed for now. I totally feel you on the coffee thing, as thats my daily 'starter' too. If you want something stronger than coffee in that aspect, try Fiber One cereal, the kind with flakes, not pellets. I think its called honey something, and it has 51% of your daily fiber. I usually eat it the night before I W-I. The next day you'll be feeling empty LOL

Hope everyone else is having a great day!

Also, Momof, Im worried about you, and hope you're well and will be back soon!

Today I feel better than yesterday. Im going to do some cardio and strength today and enjoy relaxing after. Then the next 3 days will be getting ready for Disneyland. We're leaving Saturday at 5am!

Vegaspunkermom High fibre stuff just makes things worse for me! I get more fibre than I used to as it is since I am actually not living entirely on meat and pasta like I once did. LOL.

FINALLY down 15. I'd be more excited but I am impatient and I don't think the weight is coming off as fast as it should. I have tried eating more and that does not help me at all. If you successfully lose 2.0 pounds/week, you can expect to achieve your target weight by July 21st, 2009. The problem is I am NOT losing 2 a week. It's more like 1.5 or less and I really am NOT satisfied with that. When I was younger I could lose 3 a week or more. VERY frustrated.

Morning Ladies, hope you all are enjoying your week & staying OP! Its been quiet around here lately.

We're leaving for the in-laws house & Disneyland on Saturday at 5am.

Im very nervous about this whole trip. Since starting the weight loss, I havent been out of my own element for a long period of time. Now, Ill be at the inlaws house, and then 2 days in Disneyland. My inlaws are healthy people, so Im not overly worried and told my husband if need be, Ill go food shopping for certain things. Im bringing protein bars, weight control oatmeal, 100 calorie packs, splenda, and have asked her to buy fat free milk.

Im also worried about Disney. We're having 2 meals with the characters, and one is a buffet breakfast. I REALLY hope they have good choices. Im going to be bringing a sandwich and snacks for myself throughout the day.

I had a good friend who 2 years ago lost 100lbs. She went to Disney for 2 days while losing the weight, ate whatever she wanted, felt guilty the entire way home, and wound up losing 4lbs. She said you walk 7-11 miles per day in Disney, and Im going for 2 days. I certainly hope thats true, and that doing that, combined with good choices, will help me maintain, if not lose weight this next week.

Sorry for the vent, SO nervous! I dont want to gain!!!

Hello Hello!

Just a wee note to let you know I'm still on track - been renovating our house so the computer is out of commission!

Hope evenone is doin fine.

I'm down 11 kg now - thats nearly 25 pound and I'm quietly proud I've manage to stay on plan - couple of slip ups but I'm only human!
