Sassy - YOU ROCK!! Thank you SO much! My son's party isnt until May 3rd, but best believe I will be buying some of those! Im SO excited, I havent had a hotdog in MONTHS! BTW, I love Betty Grable with a passion. My grandmother used to look ridiculously like her when she was young!

Mollz - My husband & I have always wanted to go to New Orleans. Someday, for sure! Im glad it isnt right now, because I would certainly gain weight there! I do love spicy food, but especially creole & cajun! I like Rob Pattinson, however, I think Zac Effron's hotter, strictly because to me, Rob seemed more like Edward Sissorhands than Edward Cullen! YUM cheesecake!

Momof - I understand the guilt feelings! Even since losing weight, its still hard for me to get all 3 of them dressed, ready, loaded, unloaded, etc. and since James is still under a year, he doesnt do well out for long periods of time. He loves his schedule. I try to take the kids somewhere fun, by myself, once a week. Then we go out again once a week when Daddys off. Im SO glad you got some you time! Dont forget how important that is!

Prinny - Just let the pictures be your motivation, and take it as much as you can. Someone once told me, its a marathon, not a sprint, but you'll get there. Im still getting there. I want to be my goal weight SO bad I can taste it, but Ill be damned if Im giving up now. Ive worked TOO hard to stop until Im there, & so have you!

Dgramie - YAY! Kick that scales butt! I cant wait to see your W-I
too!!

Beach - Windy here too! The temperature changes are ridiculous! One day its gorgeous & low 80's, the next its windy, cloudy, & low/mid 60's. I cant remember it ever being like this changing wise ever! Glad the mammogram went well, and Im anxious to see your measurements change!

Alright, off to do my 45 minute cardio/sculpt walk. Tomorrow is my best friend's daughter's birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. NO pizza or cake for me, but I will have a salad plate from the salad bar & a diet coke Ive got to get this weight off!

Thanks beach & vegas...it helps to know there is support. Right now I am with a sick baby. I was up all night fell asleep at like 5:30 this morning. She slept on and off this morning. This is the first chance I have got to get up cause she is sleeping...A friend of mine took my 2 year old to their house which helps because the girls fight over me and push each other off me and punch each other. So with the lil one being sick it works better! Ok well I gotta get going...lata

Beachbum: Sometimes we need a little treat; I eat chocolate maybe once every 2-3 weeks as a way of keeping my mind on top of the loss. I can lose weight and still enjoy a chocolate bar! My frequency of eating them has gone down: from twice a week to one every 2-3 weeks. But I won't give them up. Why force yourself to give up foods you love in the name of losing weight? Maybe I'm more optimistic about these things, but even if I gain 100 grams from eating it (that's about 1/4 of a pound), my overall weight has gone down. As far as I'm concerned, I'm still in negative territory!

I still managed to get on the scale this morning (I weigh everyday and keep track online of what my weight does) and it was 88.4 with a trend of 89.3 (BMI: 32.8 down from 35.2 in October). I'm 100 grams closer to my goal. That puts me at an 800gm loss this week- I'm stoked!!

Hi ladies! I'm just checking in. We just got back from meeting my inlaws to transfer our son off for Spring Break with his grandma hehe Bad news is we've been on the road and eating out. I tried to make healthy choices, but we know how that goes, but I'm ready to get back with it ASAP!

Hello everyone. Welcome new people. The weekend is just about over and I managed to do pretty good except for the cheese cake (sigh...so good). I did put on weight the two or three weeks I was madly on the go with Baby born and funerals but the good news is I'm sure I lost most of it as I was only up 1.5 pounds from the middle of March. I can handle that. I'm 139.5. I'm so glad the scales didn't weigh me in the 140s. I wouldn't have taken that as well. I should probably go change my ticker to reflect my true weight. I've lost and gained these couple of pounds over and over since January.

Ladies....I've had a tough weekend! Yesterday wasn't so bad but I didn't work out and i had no reason not to. Today was BAD! I didn't work out AGAIN and I had a burger and fries and then tonight I had grilled cheese, chips and a Dr Pepper. I don't even want to try and count the calories. I'm going to try and pick myself up tonight, not judge myself and start tomorrow with a fresh workout and clean slate.

ARGHHHH! Why is food such a big freaking stumbling block?? It's been two weeks of solid calorie counting, clean eating and working out! I will NOT let this derail me but it's hard not to feel discouraged but this.

I've lost 5 lbs in 2 weeks and I know I have so much more to lose and more work to do to get there.

Sorry to unload, but if not here where else right?

Kate

According to the daily plate:
If you successfully lose 2.0 pounds/week, you can expect to achieve your target weight by July 19th, 2009.

I need to dye and do my hair this week. Might not sound like a big deal but it takes a few hours to dye then 6-8 hours to put my extensions in. The good thing is my hair becomes pretty much zero maintenance for styling it after that for almost a month. It's a pain to workout with extensions in but I'll do it anyway. I can manage.

I think I might be able to get another penguin this week if my TOM doesn't mess me up too bad.

Oh hrm, just realized I have no idea how much the extensions are going to weigh. It is possible that it is a pound or more. Uh oh. Need to figure that out.

Good Morning Ladies

Wasn't feeling well yesterday, that's the reason I was MIA.Had a bad weekend not sleeping and having muscle problems on my left leg. It feels better today,I think I pulled a ligament or a tendon,if it doesn't get butter in the next couple of days I going to the doctor. Don't need this when my DD and DGC are planning to come up here to the Cape.

Had a semi bad W-I this morn went up .4 I have a feeling its the lousy sodium again.

VEGAS-We're lucky than most of the country we had rain and wind comparing to other area where is snowing again. My measurement aren't good at all, even though, my pants are loose. Leo says that my lost inches but the tape measure don't lie or does it.

MOMO-That's what we're here for is support.Sorry about your sick baby, I feel so sorry for the little ones know they are feeling good and don't know why.But that again the poor moms losing night sleeps.Hope she better and you'll find your ZZZZZ's again.

MOLLZ-By all means I know that we all need treats. Don't give them up as if we do the body starts craving and eats whatever is in sight.Big congrats on the scale showing a loss.

AUER-J-When you on the road and not being able to control your eating just do the best you can,and that's all is expected.

RETIRE-Glad to hear that the scale is finally going down hopefully your bod is getting used to your new calorie counting range.

KATE-You lost 5 lbs in two weeks that great.Give you body a chance to get used to the clean eating and exercising. Its only natural for day when we want to eat everything in sight and the next day we behave again. If we know the answer to the $64 thousand question we wouldn't need this board.

PRINNY-Hoping you get your next PENGUIN I switched to Sparks people when I lost all my charts and food journal on Fit Day.

DGRAMIE-BIG CONGRATS on your 91.6 total weight loss your doing fabulous. Keep up the good work

Have to go, have a great morning

Good Monday to all!

Momof - Im sorry your little one was sick! Thats never easy. I hope she's better, and everything is going well with you now!

Mollz - This is probably going to sound ridiculous to you, but I have NO clue of grams & kg, etc. I do understand BMI though, so CONGRATS on your loss & great BMI!

Auer - I know how hard it is to make good choices when out. Im going to be facing my first real slap in the face with that in 2 weeks, when we go to California & Disneyland. I am SO SO nervous about it!

Retire - Kick that scales behind! Its good that aside from your heck few weeks, you're right back at it!

Sassy - Im sorry you had a hurdle hon. You know for me, every single choice, day, minute is a hurdle. Everytime I feel myself wanting the urge for something high cal, fattening, or something bad that someone around me is eating. I say the line below my ticker over & over, think to myself that NO food is worth killing this for me, and stay strong. A big part for me is the guilt factor. Thats the only thing I can offer. Whats done is done, dont beat yourself up for it, just keep going!

Prinny - Im a cosmetologist, LOL, although now Im a stay at home Mommy, Im still licensed. I miss the days of my extensions. They arent cheap either. I miss the money most LOL!

Dgramie - HOORAY for breaking that plateau!! I know how long you've been stuck, so this is a huge breakthrough for you!! Wooo Hoo!!

Beach - Sorry you didnt feel well. I hope everything is better now! Seriously who cares about what a tape measure says? Your clothes fit differently, you feel better, thats ALL that matters! Drink that water & lose that salt!!

I am so proud of myself, because I resisted ALL temptation at Chuck E Cheese yesterday! No pizza, wings, cake, or cupcakes! I stuck with my salad (which was SO yummy) and had a diet coke as my treat.

My goal for today is to drink ALOT of water (it might be TOM coming, or it might be because I feel a bit dehydrated, but I feel bloated) Im also planning to do a 20-30 minute cardio workout, arms strength video, & abs today!

I officially weigh myself Monday mornings, and this morning I was the same as I was last Monday morning (197). I noticed my fluctuation was a little lower on average than last week, but still, my ultimate number is the same. So, disappointed, hoping it is period-related as I am only a couple days past my time. I usually see no movement one week out of the month, but lately it's been 2 weeks out of the month.

Was really hoping to see 195 this week and 193 (which would be 60 lbs down) next Monday morning.

Kate ~ That is what we are here for. Hang in there.

Dgramie ~ WOW, what an inspiration. Congrats on busting through that plateau and all you have accomplished.

Beach ~ I really struggle with sodium myself, I'm trying to stay away from those things that I KNOW will make me wake up the next morning feeling all puffy, but it's hard.

Thanks for the understand comments about my food intake while on the road. I'm going to be dealing with the same situation next week, so I think I'll plan a little better and maybe try and talk DH into taking a cooler and a packed lunch at least. I feel like I'm slacking on my water, so need to up that. Other than that I'm feeling pretty pumped for this week, my vacation! WOOT!

Just a little to everyone. I was up half the night with mom who decided she wanted to stay up all night so I'm really sleepy all day. No exercise yet. I wanted to do my circuit workout but I don't think I have the energy to do that. I'll hop on my bike and watch tv while I peddle for about an hour. Just hope I don't fall asleep and fall off the bike.

Ate too much Mexican for dinner. Had a couple beers. While that isn't doing my diet any favours it's nice to have a treat now and again. I guess I'll just have to ride the bike longer tomorrow to make up for it. Needed the beer to deal with cramps anyway. Booze or hard narcotics are the only things that can tame my cramps. Sorry if TMI, still 'on' beer. lol.

I'll just have to ride the stationary bike another half hour or so tomorrow to make up for it.

Hair is finally done. Only took 5 hours this time and I have my blue braids again. I even weighed out the hair before putting it in then subtracted what I didn't use from that so I know how much to discount on my weigh-ins. I am pretty much one pound heavier due to fake hair now.

Good Morning Ladies

Its another gloomy day,and I think its my ankle that's giving me problems when walking. Going to make an appointment with then doctor and find out why,did I sprain it when carrying a huge basket of laundry down to the basement.

VEGAS-Thanks,not going to worry about weight anymore.Just going to do the best I can with eating the healthy food.I was looking over a old food journal and I saw that my inches last year is 4" higher in my waist that this year,so I must be losing some inches, even though I don't see it.

WHITE-PICKET-FENCE-Our body's really fluctuate every day, some times in your case once at month is normal and than the chemistry changes to twice.

My w-i day is on Mondays also to keep me accountable over the weekend, but I weigh in every day top get a average total.

AUER-J-Now that I go to another calorie counting web site they have a chart that tells me how much sodium I taking in.That should help me in the long run,as I don't buy any frozen entrees anymore.I rather make the meal from scratch and try to keep the slat in the shaker and not in my food.

Oh my all means, hope you can find a plan that will work for you on the road. Good idea for asking your DH to bring meals along in a cooler, this way you have to option to cook & bring along on the trip.

RETIRE-Sorry that your couldn't find your ZZZ's but that's great that you got your biking done while watching TV.I haven't been on my bike since I hurt my leg/ankle.

Have to go, will be back this afternoon.
