Zenor, When will you find out which job you hubby will take? I hope you find out soon. :hugs: I know waiting can drive ya nuts. |
Good Morning everyone!!! Well it's a gloomy rainy Monday! It doesn't help much with having to be at work! LOL
We had a great a dinner at my future IL's! I had tons and tons of veggies, and brought my own brown rice. I even managed to save calorie room for a piece of heaven! (Chocolate Cake) Yummy!!! DF was laughing at me because I was sitting there savoring every little bite. Though I don't know what was in the food, because I went home and worked out for 60 mins, and it felt like nothing, I had so much energy! It was great! Must of been the sugar! LOL Anne- :bravo: on your 3lb loss!!!! Keep it up!! You're doing great. Zenor- The Godzilla movie is a hoot! It's pure nostalgia! Oh, I had a NSV this morning, I walked in and our night custodian said, hey you're losing lots of weight! I wore a dress for the first time in a while and he said he wanted to tell me something last week, but was in shock with how I looked. Now that's a great way to start a Monday morning! ;) Have a great Monday everyone! |
Hi everybody!
I guess I will start by introducing myself, since I have been away for a while and there seems to be a lot of newer posters. I am 31 years old, I work full time for a financial institution and my dh works for a cable company. We have been together for 10 years and have 2 children (Athena 7 and Jamison 5). When my dh and I met I was 135 pounds and since then I have gone up as high as 198 pounds. I was very unhappy with the way I looked and decided it was time to do something about it. That was when I started to count calories when I have been focused on my goal I have done well but it has been hard to stick with it. I found this site earlier this year but I have been away from the site and counting for a few months. I need to get back on track and stay focused on my goal. I find it very hard to fit in exercise, if anyone has any tips on fitting it into your day it would be appreciated. I am going to try to post everyday, as I have found that it was easy to stay focused when I was posting. I will be back later to post how today went. |
I weighed this morning and I gained 4lbs on vacation!! :( And then I ate a piece of cake! What's wrong with me?! My aunt bought cake just because, and dropped it off Saturday when we got back. Most of it's gone, but there was one little piece left, so I took it!
Tinky ~ I wish it was raining here! We're on water restriction, and it's too hot to step outside til' 8. cablgurl ~ Welcome back! Good luck on your weight loss! :) Anyway, I'm gonna go clean out the kitchen of all the junk food my aunt filled it with. Bye! |
Charlene~ Just jump right back in there and those 4 lbs will be gone in no time! You can do it! Vacation will get the best of us. I think it's a good idea to clean out the kitchen. Until you can say no to that kind of stuff (some people never can~ it depends on your triggers) get it out of the house! Can you talk to your aunt and other who bring in food and ask them not to get that kind of thing? Or, at least, stop offering it to you? Most people have trigger foods that they need to stay away from (at least for awhile.)
Littlered~ We should know by mid-July which job DH will be taking. We should know about the NY one before then, but the job in OK is interviewing next month, so it all depends. Too bad I can't just keep the sentimental stuff and get rid of the rest of it! I hate packing so much, that I'd rather start over and just buy new. But who can afford that? Plus, it's wasteful, so I could never actually do it! Just dreaming... Tinky~ Isn't that the most wonderful feeling! It's great when people start to notice. It took the guys I work with 40lbs before they said anything! Lol. |
I am so glad this is here, I love reading about everyone else and reminding myself that I am not the only person out there who has to count every little calorie that goes into my mouth. I am losing again and I so love to be a loser! I am pumped up and glad to have everyone here to keep accountable to! I just keep picturing myself posting some wowerific pics of my changes and my story in Goals, positive thinking, imagine your outcome and it will be!
Wow Zenor you are getting close to your goal, cool! |
I'm back. I had to work this weekend, so no 3FC and now I'm catching up. :)
my stats for the week: 1794 cals/day 2876mg sodium (wooohooo! getting better) 60g fiber cholesterol 290 Cals were a little higher, but I think I still had a good loss (my weigh-in is tonight). It must have been a big nursing week, because the scale said 166! |
Well, I got a present today. My mother bought me an "Alli Starter Pack" & Book. She said she saw it at Sam's and thought I might like it. I'm still researching it and I read the thread in "Does It Work?" section and most of the reviews were good. I'll keep you guys posted if you were wondering about it and if I actually try it.
Tinky ~ I missed your question earlier, and yes! I had quite a few favorite rides, but I really enjoyed Splash Mountain. My brother and mother made fun of me after Space Mountain, I was screaming bloody murder the whole time! When we got off the ride, I saw one of the other guys from our space car thingy and he was talking to his wife who waited for him in the gift shop where you exit from the ride. She asked him how he liked it and I heard him say, "It was okay." Then he rubbed his head, and she said, "What's wrong?" and then he said, "There was quite a screamer on our car." edzard ~ This is a very encouraging thread isn't it? Zenor ~ Like edzard said, you are very close to your goal! Congrats! |
Hello! What a Monday. I didn't post, but I did well this past weekend (even with eating out on Father's Day). Today, at the bridal shower, not so good. I ate 2 buffalo chicken wings, 2 jalapeno poppers, half a cheese enchilada, about a handfull of Spanish rice, a cupcake (a key lime cupcake that was AWESOME), and about 3 small bowls of homemade tortilla chips(sorry for the weird measurements, I didn't have anything with me to measure with any sort of accuracy). So, it's back on track. Tonight I'm having a cabbage and chicken salad for dinner.
This is the end of the first week of my diet and I'm down 2 pounds. yay!:D cablgurl - Welcome back! Tinky - Awesome compliment. I do miss wearing dresses and looking all dolled up and pretty. What a great way to start the week! AnneA - Congrats on the 3 pounds!! :carrot: Have a great night everyone! |
Zoe ~ I am a blob person. HAHAHA! That is the only way I can keep track of calories. Or I will measure mine all out before I mix everything together.
Petra ~ WTG on breaking your 140's. Littlred ~ Hope you enjoyed your time with your DGD. Tinky ~ I do the same thing. I love Subway and Quizno's so I just make sure I get extra exercise and it never affects my weight. I actually have had Subway 4 days in a row and lost because I chose the healthy subs. OK listening to conversations about driver tests and such, I will stay put. I get so nervous that I would probably flunk. I even study to take the written test. HAHAHAHA! I have learned to just go with my curls because I don't like to spend a lot of time getting around. I guess I try to cram to much in a day to allow much time make sure I look good. HAHAHA! Sorry I haven't been around, had DGS since last Friday and most of today. Between keeping an eye on him, traveling to see both our Dad's, Curves on Saturday and errands, I haven't had any time to spare. Work was 2 days worth of work packed into 5 hours. I was so flustrated my brain had to stop a few times and reset :dizzy:. I don't know what they would do if I really left for 3 weeks on vacation. Did horrible this weekend and I want to put out a warning to everyone that likes to eat at Bob Evans for breakfast DON'T EAT THE BISCUITS! The taste great but 315 calories a biscuit. I had not a clue until I went on the website to look. YICKS! I ate them two days in a row because we went out for breakfast two days in a row there. WOW! I thought I had a low cal breakfast chosen, its their One Egg breakfast (1 egg, 2 sausage - I get turkey which is lower and toast or biscuits) and because of the biscuits it was a whopping 1060 calories just for breakfast. That is just crazy. DH and I are talking about helping each other on the weekends. He is finally concerned about his weight and since I have been pointing it out he is realizing how bad we bing on weekends. We are not doing it this weekend. We are already talking about what meals we are going to have. I am at 1050 today because I didn't have time for snacks and even though we had chinese I had sizzling rice soup and 2 spring rolls. I didn't bloat up, it was lower in calories and filling. That is what I planned on having the last time we went there and this time that is what I ordered. Calories were about 1/2 the last time and no bloat. Well I better get going and have a snack to get my calories up. Welcome to all the newbies and congrats to all those that have lost. Hoping getting my weekends straight will get me moving down the road to thinness. Talk at you all later. |
Calories for today~ 1435
Fiber~ 34 grams edzard/Charlene~ Thanks! I'm scared of being able to maintain, but I'm determined (i.e. stubborn.) Everyone have a great evening! |
Hello everyone.. I'm new on here.. well, not really, It's just been a while... I just got married, just graduated college, starting a new job.. Basically all of my life changing events are happening now. So, I've decided to add another one to the pile.. Lose weight!! I lose weight easily however I always gain it right back. I don't maintain.. I am determined this time.. It is a fresh start for me. I'm going to count calories.. which has helped in the past and exercise 3-4 x a week.. or so my plan is. I can use all the help and support I can get. .. Thanks for listening! =)
|
Good Morning all...well the scale has been reading at 186 for a while, so I'm down another 2! :carrot: I did see it at 185 one morning, but I'll take 186! LOL !!!
:welcome2: to Cablgrl and Neesy!!!! Calorie counting has been such a great thing to me! You're not restricted, but do have to make wise choices. I wish you guys lots of luck and success!! We're here to support you! Charlene- Ooooh I don't envy you with the heat!! It just makes me feel like a rubbery noodle. LOL I don't know how else to describe it, but that's what came into my mind. Space Mountain is a great ride...though I don't know if it's different from the one at Disney Land, I'm sure it is a bit. No worries, you'll be able to knock those 4 lbs in no time! Zenor- It feels great, I mean he was the last person I would expect to notice so it was pretty nice. I'm sure you'll have no problem with maintaining!! Edzard- Keep up posted on your progress! Inquring mind want to know! ;) Coolmom- I hope your weigh in went well!!! Crafftymommy- Thank you, it felt good to be all girly for the day!! Don't let your "adventure" get you off track, pick up where you left off and keep going!! :D GrammyL- I'm right with you on the weekends!! They're awfully hard, I tend to find myself struggling. I half saying stay on plan while the other is like you've worked hard, eat whatever. I'm getting there, but it's a work in progress. DF is working on helping me eat better on weekends, since he's the one that likes to eat whatever! LOL Well take care everyone! I get to have a half day today...got 2 Dr.s appt! Yay me! LOL! |
hi, Girls
my numbers for monday 1306 cal 44 fiber 13 glasses of water. |
Oh lord. I just wrote on of the longest posts ever. And then Safari decided to close.
Okay, I can't write a novel again, so here's a short story. 3 Teens in our area burned 2 dogs to death and got 2 months in the YDC. They were 13-14 years old. I ate a 3 Musketeers bar this morning because it floated to the top of the ceiling and I had to get it down and get rid of it. Tinky ~ It's always hot in GA, and I hate it. Moving to North GA this Fall should be better, right? And I see you live in Seattle. You probably get tons of rain. So lucky. :envy: cablgurl/Nessy ~ :welcome3: CraftyMommy ~ I  weddings! I haven't been to one in a while though. I think I was 10. Lara ~ Driving tests? I didn't turn the right age to get my liscense until my Senior year. I just barely made it into my grade. (I think the cut off date was the day after my birthday.) Well I'm gonna go clean the house and not eat it too. BYE! |
Hi all, I'm trying out a new calorie counting program this week. Last week I used CalorieKing, which I liked and this week I'm trying out MyFoodDiary.com. Anyone use that one? So far, I like it a lot. The recipe builder is a good feature that CK didn't have.
Edzard - We have almost the exact same stats and goals! I agree, this is a great place for encouragement and support! I've upped my treadmill workouts to 40 minutes/day. 20 mins at 10% incline, 20 mins at 7% incline. Trying to keep the calories around 1500, but on some days, I get up to around 1600. Exercise makes me HUNGRY! Anyway, just checking in on everyone! Have a good day... |
GOOOOOOOOD Afternoon!
Just a quick check in before I head home for the day. Zenor ~ You are getting close to your goal, that was fast. FANTASTIC! Tinky ~ The only way to make it thru weekends is to keep busy and not having anyone ask me to go out to eat all the time or go for dessert. DH needs to take about 150 lbs off so if we do it together that will work out great. Neesy ~ WELCOME! You will definitely find the support your looking for here. Anna ~ I have heard wonderful things about MyFoodDiary.com but have never personally used it. I have my own spread sheets I use. I have enough books with calorie counts that I can find just about anything. That is what happens when you have been dieting for 25 years. I couldn't help it. I stepped on the scale at Curves, nothing official but I have lost 7 lbs since starting. Only three more pounds and I will get a bracelet and met my first goal. That is why I really want to get the weekends down. If I could stay on plan on the weekend I know I would just melt instead of this yo-yo thing. Each week I yo-yo at lower weights but it is still flustrating. ODD is upset because she got head lice from her fiance's sisters house. Lovely. I had to cut 5 inches off just so she can treat it and had to get a prescription from the doctor because she is pg. In a 1/2 inch circle I found 3 eggs. I wouldn't even let her in my house. They are just nasty and I am not taking any chances. She is upset with me because I keep telling her she can't come to my house but I don't want it and I am not taking any chances. :hungry: Calories Monday: 1356 :lifter: Exercise: Curves, 2 - 20 minute walks. :balloons:Fun: Played with DGS and drove my pony. Well my lovely friends I have to get going. |
Grammy~ Just a quick note since I should be working. Lol. Get yourself (and anyone who'll be near your ODD) some shampoo with tea tree oil in it. It repels them (the lice)! I don't think it'll help much now that she has them (or it might~don't know for sure.) If you can't find shampoo with it in it you can add some of the oil to your current shampoo. Just thought it might ease your mind a bit.

Good evening ladies
Hi, welcome Neesy, You have found a wonderful place to get info. and a great place to chat with the girls they are a great bunch. good luck with your new life. sounds very busy. Charlene I used to loose my post like that. and I started to use a word processor. like Works or Word. then I copy and paste. no more post that are not here. Lara, I hope all goes well with your hubby’s weight loss. That’s going to be a lot of thought and concentration for both of you. But, at least you can eat the same healthy foods. unlike my hubby, who will not eat a salad with out a fight. I did get him to eat 2 salads this week! CONGRATS on the 7 lbs. http://www.freesmileys.org/emo/gen129.gif How long did that take. Not long I know. I better watch out. you will be passing me up soon. :D Zenor, I have to remember that Tea tree oil. I have a big phobia of Lice. Never had it. Just went crazy every time the kids came home and told me so and so at school had it. YUK! I would definitely need a hair cut with that stuff. |
well, I think my scale is broken. I hopped in this morning and I was down 2 full lbs! From 2 days ago. WTF? Musta been the KFC !! LOL
The weirdest part is although I feel like I've been eating more in the past few days, I just started religiously using mydailyplate and tracking..and I've been around 1400 for every day except one, at 1750 ..yep I was pretty snacky that day..lol Hoping I'm not +6 tomorrow!! lol Is there a way to link my daily plate to my profile like you do fitday? Just wondering, I wouldnt mind the added accountability factor. ETA: just wanted to add that the bmr's have me at around 1550 for a basal rate..and I must move a little during the day, right? According to mydailyplate, if I eat 1400 cals a day, I can expect to lose 1.5 lbs a week..we shall see ..but if I go too low, I' might have a psychotic episode..:D |
Hello everyone~
Welcome to all the new people!! Well I actually did good over the weekend. Then yesterday and today have been the greatest. Alittle more than ususal. So tomorrow I am sticking back to what I was eating before. But hey gotta have a little bit of difference everyonce in awhile right?? Well I am feeling sick from having McDonald's at lunch (that was at 11:45 and it is now 7:30 and still feel sick) no wonder I stopped eating it. My stomach defiently can't handle it anymore. Well I think that I am going to bed early. Even though the kids want to go swimming they will either have to get DH to go out there or wait til tomorrow. Mary |
Weigh in went well, and I'm down another 2.5. :D My naked weight is 165! Only 5 more pounds until my next goal. I am just so amazed I am only 15 pounds from pre-third baby weight. I topped out at 230 when I went in to give birth, 80 pounds more than when I started. yikes!
|
Wow! what a bunch of loosers! ;) Really Congrats to all of you...
:bravo: Zoe, 50 Mary, 42 Zenor,54 Lara, 43 Carrie, 25 Slim, 12 Charlene,15 Anne, your first 9! Crafty MOm, Music addict, Your first 2! Tinky, 18 Neesy, 10 Edzard, your First 4! Cablgurl, 12 pounds Natatia, 15 Bargoo, 32 Meg, 11 Clairinator, 10 and all of you that don't tell your loss on a ticker. Congrats to all of you.:encore: that is a grand total of....almost 400 pounds. Now just imagin... if we added up the total losses of every person, man and woman at this web site. Wow. Just imagin, how much lighter this old planet is now. I know, silly useless info. but its a kick. keep up the good work everyone. think we could get the moderators to have a link where everyone could put their number of pounds in and have a grand total? And Yes, I really added those numbers, with mine. Yes, I was bored and goofy. ;) |
Calories for today~ 1441
Fiber~ 44 grams Welcome to all the newbies! :welcome2: Littlered~ What a great idea! I would have never thought to add up all the weight lost. Well, I'm still fighting this headache (allergies I think) so, I'm off to rest a bit. Everyone have a great evening! |
Zenor ~ Thanks for the tip. DH is totally freaked and said when I pick up DGS (only has stubbles because DD keeps it short) that I am not to take his back pack, buy diapers for our house and his cloths and diaper come off before he enters the house. Cloths directly into the washer diaper, trash bin.
Has anyone heard of this, I hadn't. DD's friend said a beer poured thru your hair will sufficate and kill adult lice. Never heard of such a thing. They did get 5 adults off of her and to many eggs to count. I bought her spray for her house so she can do that. Littlered ~ My DH actually likes salad and eats it during the week but flips his nose at it on the weekends. I bought those new salad kits that have the meat, cheese, croutons, and cheese. Told him they were in there but he chose to eat hotdogs and mac and cheese. I ate a salad. I don't know, his thought has always been he is going to eat what he wants on the weekends but we can't continue down this path any longer. His weight has ballooned to a dangerous level and me, I am just up and down the same 5 to 7 lbs. As you can tell I weighed and lost 7 lbs before Friday. I would be right close again because the weekend bloat is somewhat gone. Not all the bloat because TOM is trying to start. GOODY! It has been three weeks since I started Curves. My official weigh in would be the 4th but I am sure they will be closed so I will go in on Tuesday the 3rd and ask them to do measurements and my weighin. I am excited, especially if I am good between now and then. Well I better get going and get some work done around here. I have to go to my initial visit today about getting my wisedom teeth out. Mine is just a regular extraction because they are in but I am sick of the dentist complaining about them. |
This thread sure does move fast.
Well, I'm going to start Alli tomorrow. Only thing is, they want me to have 1,800 calories a day! I might as well give it a try for a week. I really wanna lose weight this summer. They say have a 400 calorie breakfast, but all I even want is a bowl of Special K, which at it's most is 200 calories, so I'm gonna reduce my diet calorie level a tad. I'm kind of nervous about the whole thing, so wish me luck! Today for breakfast I had Special K, and for lunch I'm making a grilled chicken sandwich and baked potato. Special K Meal was around 200 cals with milk and 3 grams of fat. The breakfast standard for Alli was 400 cals and 12 grams of fat. Lunch meal is about 600 cals and 8 grams of fat. Alli says have a 600 cal meal with 18 grams of fat. Well, I don't start the pills until Sunday, so I have more time to research. I've seen good reviews and bad reviews, so I'm not sure. Any input from you gals would be appreciated if you don't mind. Thanks so much! Lara ~ Ew gross on the lice thing. I remember in like 6th grade my mom thought I had lice and treated me with lice stuff but I didn't even have it! I was into hairspray at the time and according to the nurse it was "product build up". Hah. And :carrot: on the 7lbs!! I gotta run! Lunch's ready. Talk to y'all later. Bye! |
I guess I shouldn't have gotten so excited. Today I was up 2 1/4 lbs from yesterday :(
And I was really good yesterday..around 1300 cals and lots of movement. But, I did have BBQ meat with a commercial marinade on it. I wonder if it's the sodium making me retain?? Geez I know weight flucuates but the thing that boths me is now I don't even know if I really was 2lbs less yesterday or I was just hallucinating. :dizzy: Plus the past 2-3 weeks have been kinda rough so I haven't made a lot of progress..pretty much treading water. I would really like to see a loss this week. Going to drink like a fishie today and hope for something good tomorrow!! ;) |
Theresa thanks for showing the numbers, very impressive! Shows what can be done.Congratulations on your 24 pound loss.
|
Hi Girls
Yesterdays numbers were Calories: 1361 Fiber: 43 Water intake:96 oz. Has any one here heard of a bug called The canadian soldier? YUK! and Double Yuk! :p We got out of bed to see our house covered in them. Almost black, in places. here is a link about them. Still they are good (if we get lots of them, it means the lake is clean! ) and They are NOT lice. ;) http://www.northcountrytrail.org/news/mayfly1.htm Natalia, I understand about the weight fluctuations. I have been doing that more lately myself. Try to do as some here tell me. Watch the sodium intake and drink lots of water to wash it out. Charlene, I eat about 400 calories every morning. But I spread them out with my am snack. Good luck with your pills. I took them yrs ago. I had the prescription from a dr. Lost lots of weight...but... I had to watch how much of it I took. it DID cause the wet explosions! And it stained the clothes too. Dont take the full amount to start maybe. See how you do. Lara, Good luck with your teeth. I hope it goes well. and big good Luck with you monthly weigh in. I can't wait to see the results. :D Zenor, I hope you feel better today. I have had the same head ache and some tummy troubles all week. I feel Good today! ;) Well I have a million bugs to clean up later ladies. |
Charlene ~ Sorry I can't help you. I have never heard of Alli before, I thought you were talking to someone. HAHAHAHA! That was good for you on the hair spray because they don't like hair that has stuff in it because they can't get their eggs to stick.
Natalia ~ Yes, BBQ can have lots of sodium and calories but I love the stuff. Mrs. Dash has some marinades that are low sodium I do believe. I have never tried them before but have heard they are good. Littlered ~ Yes, I have seen them before around our house but never like what you described. The things give me the creaps. DH said they make good fish bait but I will pass. Thanks for the luck at the dentist. I am so nervous and just want it over with. Well I am off and will talk at you all tomorrow. |
Snack Away?
Has anyone seen the new snack cakes in the bread isle called "Snack Away"?
They have 140 to 150 cals. each and have 7 - 9 grams of fiber. I've tried the blueberry muffins and the chocolate cupcakes. They are not bad!!! I'm always looking for anything high in fiber. I'm noticing that new items are added here and there...I just have to go from store to store sometimes to find them. The Quaker Oats Breakfast Cookie is not bad...also the All Bran snack crackers are really good. I'd love to know if anyone has tried any of the new pastas that are higer in fiber? |
Hey there everyone!!! Wow, I'm so glad it's Wednesday!! I've been busier than a bee!
GrammyL- Wow, I'm sorry to hear about the lice problem....I went and looked at what it looked like again....and yuck! Good luck to DD!! Well I also told DF that I really want to look nice before I go down to CA to see my mom. I'm not expecting a miracle, but am expecting to look better than I did last year! Good Luck at the Dentist!!!!! Petra- Yeah the last time I ate Mc D's I was pretty sick too, I felt so bloated and well bloated! LOL! CoolMom- Yay!!!! Congratulations! Hey did you or Petra catch Deadliest Catch last night? I started on the Season Finale but was too sleepy! LittleRed- Thanks for tallying up our losses so far!! That's pretty awesome from a group perspective!! Canadian Soldiers? I'll have to read your article link later? I glanced at your post earlier and thought you were talking about real soldiers! LOL :joker: Natalia- I sure it's water retention, I had the same problem two days ago, I went to weigh myself and I ballooned up two lbs, but then lost it. LOL Salt will do that to you! Zenor- I hope you feel better!!!! GeorgiaLady- I honestly haven't heard of these things, but will look into it! Well DF and I are gearing up to do a Cancer Walk for my company. It's on Sunday, and we're suppose to get some rain. We're going to walk 3.1 miles, and it's up hill, down hill, and flat. LOL! So I've been working out more in case I need to do some jogging if it rains hard! LOL Well have a great night guys! |
Hi ladies!
It has been a while. Life has been crazy with work issues, sickness issues, etc. Work is finally calming down and we are all healthy now. Yay! I am excited to finally be under 200. I know that my current weight is higher than some of your starting weights, which makes me feel like a real heffer, but I am so happy that I am moving in the right direction. 180s look out cause here I come and I won't be visiting long! Today was a bit of a challenge because of a work potluck. I am 100 calories over the 1600 per day that I strive for. I have been struggling with my jogging lately in the heat, but I have a lead on a used treadmill that I might actually be able to afford. I'm hoping to pick it up this weekend. My I'd-like-to-wear-when-I-lose-a-few-pounds-pants not only fit but they are too big! A skirt that I haven't been able to fit is on the verge of being too big. I don't own any pants with non-baggy butts anymore. For some reason I have no clothes in the next size down but I have some new with tags (but a year or two old) size 12s just waiting for me. I got them as a gift way back when and couldn't return them. If I can get down to the 170 range then I will fit them. It would be great if I could time that to hit in the fall when I'll need to start wearing long pants more often and just get by in skirts and baggy pants until then. If the treadmill thing works out, I just may pull it off. Little red, We have those nasty bugs here too. I think their season ended a few weeks ago though. They are nasty. Thank god the house wasn't covered, just portions of the front door. When I opened the door some would come in and get on the wall by the entry. Yuck! We call them fish flys. Lara, Seven pounds is awesome! |

That is such a good out look on your goals. I am sure the 180's are going to be here soon! My I'd-like-to-wear-when-I-lose-a-few-pounds-pants not only fit but they are too big! A skirt that I haven't been able to fit is on the verge of being too big. :carrot:Keep it up kid. pretty soon the 12's WILL fit. Little red, We have those nasty bugs here too. I think their season ended a few weeks ago though. They are nasty. Thank god the house wasn't covered, just portions of the front door. When I opened the door some would come in and get on the wall by the entry. Yuck! We call them fish flys. Well I am glad to hear someone else know what I am talking about. YUK! here is a pic of my house this a.m. We had to use the snow shovel to scope them up. we still have many every where. |
Hi everyone It;s been a couple days since iv'e been on..... i have heard of alli too my mom had something like it perscribed to her from the doctor called meridia and alli is the same thing only in a smaller dose...When my mom took it she lost 30lbs in one summer, it made her really energetic and she was never hungry, but i do have to warn you it does make you go to the bathroom alot, especially if you eat junk foods. I think i might try it, i was excited to hear it came out as an over the counter pill. so how is everyone? I sort of went off my diet for about 4 days...It was a hectic week, i didnt gain any weight back but tonight i got my butt up and ran for an hour. Hope iu can stay on track.
Little red-I havent ever heard of those bugs before ive heard of june bugs but the ones we have here in Wisconsin dont look like that Charlene-let me know how Alli works for you? and your right 1,800 calories sounds like alot i dont think i ever eat that many calories in a day that would be hard for me... |
LoveMyBoy- Hey there good to see you again!!! :D Don't worry, I was 204 when I started dieting. You'll see the 180's in no time. I don't plan on staying long though! LOL Good to hear that you're feeling

Hi
todays numbers. Got to be accountable. ;) Cal: 1479 Fiber: 41 Water: 13 glasses, 104 oz. Curves and some workouts at home. sleep tight. I know I will. |
I've lost track off the posts, there's so many! Um. . .I loved the chart of weight loss that I think littlered (?) did. Thanks. It was interesting.
I've eaten well the past couple of days, staying right on track - ever since my bridal shower Mexican food adventure. :) Down another pound, too. I'm happy about that considering I was beating myself up over the bridal shower food. phew! I start summer vacation tomorrow until the 2nd. I'm a little put off by that because it's easier for me to keep track and behave with my eating at work. I just bring all my food and have no other temptation there. At home it is harder to not stray from my eating plan. So I have my fingers crossed that I'll keep it up. Have a great night Ladies!! |
Calories for today~ 1459
Fiber~ 43 grams (without hf cereal or any beans!) I'm finally feeling a bit better tonight! Thanks for all the well wishes! I think this is funny, so I'm going to share. I ordered shoes online last week and they just arrived. The company that makes the shoes is in Santa Barbara (a little over an hour from here) and they were shipped from Chicago! I know the factory is in SB, so I think it's funny that they came all that way! Talk about a waste of transportation costs! Oh, well, they are cute and I got a really good discount. Littlered~ Um, gross! That kind of imagery makes me think of biblical plauges! Lovemyboy~ :yay: Congrats on getting under 200lbs!!! I rewarded myself with a sparkley nose piercing after I got under 200. Watch out! You'll be in those 12's before you know it. Oh, and don't feel like a heifer! At my heaviest I weighed 230 (a few years ago.) GeorgiaLady~ Barilla Plus Pasta is good. It has more fiber and it tastes like white pasta. I also like Trader Joe's ww organic pasta (not sure if you have TJ's in Georgia though.) Also, for egg-type noodles I really like Healthy Harvest ww noodles. They seem to cook up moister than some of the other brands (I don't like dry noodles personally.) Tinky~ Nice to see a face! I plan on taking more picture soon and I'll probably change my avatar as well. Grammy~ 7 POUNDS! That is awesome! :bravo: Congrats to any other losses I've missed! |
