This is it. We are officially challenged to lose some weight! I'm excited.

My challenge today is to get through dinner. Sounds simple enough but I swear it is such a chore for me to come up with something good for supper that is not fattening and within my rather limited cooking skills. If I could, I would just go out to eat but that is even more difficult and costs money to boot! Well I have all day to come up with something. Tonight I go to the Y for 60 minutes of body sculpting. I will probably add 30 minutes of cardio but I have not committed myself to that yet.

Go Red Team. Let's knock Blue teams socks off.

I had so much fun on Memorial Day that I forgot the challenge was starting!

I ate off plan yesterday, but it was a girl's day out with my mom and 22yo sister, so I'm going to let it slide. But today is a new month and a new challenge, and I'm ready!

I want to buy that so bad! I think I'm going to break down and just do it in the next week or so. Surely, I deserve it

I have the same struggles with dinner. I am not a big cook so it's challenging!

Hey everyone... I'm so ready to start this challenge. Had a great day yesterday with my family... got to see my dad get honored at a veteren's memorial in my hometown yesterday. Had a perfect day food wise and swam for about 45 minutes. I didn't get enough water, but I feel I did pretty well for Memorial Day! (no funnel cake, or sausage on a stick or any other horribly fattening things that were available at the city celebration).

I am hoping to be able to get on the elliptical tonight, but my little one has decided that I am the only parent he wants right now so getting him to bed has been a chore all weekend... hopefully he cooperates tonight... I desperately need some time for myself tonight.

Hey ladies. Sorry I've been absent. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Ashley and this is my third BL challenge. I just moved to Nashville from Atlanta, so I have lots of unpacking and job hunting to do. The 6 weeks prior to the move I was working as a long term substitute in an art classroom. It was so draining and between that and the move, I've been soooooo off plan.

Tonight was my first time cooking in ages. It feels good to be back on plan, but I have one more blip coming up. Tomorrow morning I'm doing a Church's Chicken breakfast taste test. Not too healthy, but what can I say, they're paying me $50 and I'm unemployed. It shouldn't be too bad if I'm on plan for lunch and dinner.

Hope you ladies have a good week. Burn it!

Hi everyone! I'm excited to be a part of this challenge. I'm worried about my first weigh in already because I just had a whoosh this last week. I'm going to up my cardio this week and continue to stay on plan (I'm on WW).

Hey Everyone!! I hope everyone had a great holiday weekend! I didn't do too bad while traveling over the holiday...only gained one pound, and it is usually 2 or 3.

Aclai how are you liking TN? I am moving out there from KS in about 1.5 months.

C25K Ladies- I am up to about 20 minutes on the aggressive program.....it is just SOOO hot I haven't ran in about a week. Also, I alway get super terrified before I have to up my time again and 25 minutes is only 1 more run away .

We went to the lake today.... wore a bikini probably not the prettiest site, but it was just the Hubs and I-- so no innocent eyes were wounded for the sake of me getting some sun!

Best of Luck to everyone this week!

Hope everyone is doing good. We are halfway through the week here in SK! I'll be posting the combined weekly exercise challenge for both teams later on tomorrow morning (Wednesday evening for anyone in the states).

I'm doing better. Now that all of the bf's parties are finished I'm back on track. Had a great workout in the gym today. Proud of myself because I did it all on my own with no personal trainer and I really pushed myself hard. I can't remember the last time I sweat that bad. Haha! Hope I can keep it up. That's the plan for Thursday, Friday, Saturday!

How is everyone else doing?

Morning

I've got an awesome workout planned for today, so far this week my eats have been right on track. The scale is barely going down though...im just getting back on plan after a very long break so it may take a few weeks for the scale to start dropping again.

Shan-Nice job on your workout! I love those sweaty workouts, haha

Hello to everyone! Have a great day today!!!

Just time for a quick post, so much drama going on with work right now haven't had much time for online.

I''ve been doing pretty good, recooping from more dental work. The scale went up due to all the mushy food, but I'm trying not to stress out. I've stepped up the workouts and am back on a normal diet so I'm still hoping for a loss this week.

Shan - I'll check out the other threads tonight. Thanks for all you are doing!

Hope you all have a great day!

This has been a rough weekfor me so far, my son will NOT go to sleep at night (he is 21 months old). He doesn't want anything to do with my husband right now, he is on a mommy kick at the moment. Last night I managed to squeeze in 30 minutes on the elliptical while my husband was fighting with him to go to sleep and about 15 minutes of muscles with the resistance band. I am at a loss, I generally try to do an hour on the elliptical, but right now I have no time at all. I work full time and the first oppertunity I get to work out is after little man goes to bed and the past 2 nights that has been after 11pm.
Just venting, but I figured this was the place to do it. If anyone has any wisdom about getting a toddler to go to bed, I would love to hear it. He was doing fine until about a week and a half ago. So I am hoping this is just a phase.

So I woke up late for my taste test thing this morning. I had JUST enough time to get there if I didn't get lost. But of course I got lost. In all my visists to Nashville prior to moving here, I hung out in west Nashville, but I moved to east Nashville and I don't know how to get around this side of town at all. So I got there at 8:00 on the dot (which is when it started but I was supposed to be there 15 min before). Turns out it was perfect timing. They had too many people so they didn't need me, but they paid me anyways for coming out. $50 and I didn't even have to eat a greasy breakfast. Wahoo!

After leaving the taste test I went to Radnor Lake which has a beautiful trail. I have no idea what the distance is but it's a good walk and there is always wildlife (I saw a deer with her fawn and two owls today). Now it's back to more unpacking, then movie in the park with my sister and some friends!

Doc- TN is going pretty well. I haven't been out of the house too much since I'm still unpacking and such. But I visited Nashville many times before I moved (my sister has lived here about 5 years), so I already knew I'd love it.

Amy- OMG is he wearing a DHARMA shirt in your avatar? That's so awesome!

Well, today my fiance and I joined the country club. Actually, today we just went to have a look around but tomorrow we will officially be joining so that'll kick my butt into gear. I'm really excited - I've wanted my DF and I to do an activity together for ages now and there are so many things to do at the club so we decided to just go ahead and splurge on a years membership so starting tomorrow my fitness will hopefully get a kick up its backside. I'm also hoping to begin taking ice skating lessons shortly - something I have long wanted to do!

Anyway, eating wise, I've been doing fairly well the last few days so I think I'm pretty much on the right track.

Housework has been keeping me busy as well.

I hope everyone is doing well.

AClai - you are the FIRST one to notice that (or at least the first to mention it)... yes he is wearing a DHARMA shirt... see momma is a LOST geek, and had to outfit her baby in the proper apparel It has a mom bending over a baby on a changing table and below the dharma symbol it says "The Changing Station" I laughed out loud when I saw it and had to get it for him.
