Chelle - Go ahead and post in the exercise challenge thread. We need to know if you're slacking so we can get that whip out.
QOTD: What are your goals for this challenge?
I want to lose 15 pounds, that would put me at 145.5 and at the top of the healthy BMI range. I'd like to be consist with my exercise, I'm really great with the cardio, but if I have a chance I'll slack off the weight training in a heartbeat. I'll be doing my warm-up and think, "I'll just go ahead and do another cardio day, I'll do weights tomorrow." That leads to a week with no weight training, all cardio. Which, I suppose is better than sitting on the couch eating bon bons, but I know I need the weight training, I just don't crave it like I do running.
My goal is to stay IN the challenge and come out lighter than when I joined. If I were to dream it would be to be under 232. That is my pre pregnancy weight. Only 23+ pounds to go. Should be doable if I stick to plan.
Not a whole lot to share - was bingey on Saturday and it kind of carried over to Sunday. I had done really well dealing with crap at home for a week without eating my emotions, then it all caught up to me Saturday. Too bad, so sad. Back on track now. Not going to dwell. The whole matter of stuff at home relates a lot of me taking care of me, and nobody else. If I won't watch out for my best interests, who will? Bingeing/eating ridonkulously is obviously unrelated to taking care of myself. So enough of that.
angeline - Have a great time at Zumba!
Janelle - Look at you go! Organizing/planning sure helps. Like the image of wrestling with a big ol' exercise ball. What do you keep in your purse for inspirational reading?
fauxtini - Wow, 100lbs! How freakin' exciting!! Tea gives me the warm fuzzies too, especially when there's honey and brandy in there....
Kris - I think I'll try the 30DS. I could use a good cry.
I keep a WW mag and Shape or Women's health, etc. And WW shot in the arm book, stuff like that.
Do you all excersise when you are sick? When and how do you start back? How much is to much and how much is to little?
It depends on how bad I'm feeling. Sometimes there's no way I'm doing anything... and sometimes the possibility of getting off track outweighs getting a bit more rest. But I might scale it back a bit, like instead of cardio, just do weights, or walk longer instead of running.

My goals are:
1.) to lose at least 30lbs. (hopefully 40)
2.) to get fit enough to look good in a strapless dress
3.) to eventually be able to run a marathon 4.) and of course to win this challenge!
So far today I've done well... only eating a small bowl or cereal and two boiled eggs for a snack, while drinking water. I still need to finish meal planning and make groceries.
Seems like most of you work out in the morning. Does anyone else (besides me ) work out at night? I'm like to work out while watching my favorite shows and my hubby wants to work out with me so I have to wait till he gets home, too. He also wants to add a morning workout but I don't think I can do two-a-days, or even get up early enough to do them in the first place.
I would like to lose about 15 lbs which would put me in overweight category. But to be honest I'd like to lose as much as possible. I know what I need to do the key is to make sure I do it.

I work out in the afternoon. I want so badly to work out in the morning but I am definatly not a morning person. I've tried everything to try toget myself to do it. It's not even that I don't get up on time. I get up a full hour before I ever get into the shower. If I had Fauxtini's energy...I would put that hour to good use and do a workout video...but no...I need that hout to drink coffee and veg out before I can even consider moving. So I make psych myself up on the way home from work and workout as soon as I get home so I don't loose my resolve!
Whoever was talking about drinking water instead of boredom eating...Great tip! It also works for us ex smokers who just have to have that hand to mouth action going all the time!
I've pledged to lose 15lbs by the first week of April (I think that's the deadline, right?) for the Pound for Pound challenge run by the BL folks. If you haven't done so, I encourage you all to go pledge some weight loss - they match weight lost with pounds of food donated to various charitable organizations! pfpchallenge.com
Aside from dropping 15 (which would put me in the low 170's, boy howdy), I'd like to stick to an exercise routine for the majority of the challenge. I am still figuring out the details of that one.

I usually end up working out at night, about an hour or so after dinner. I can't drag myself out of bed early enough it seems, and I don't have enough energy just after work without eating something first (I am mildly hypoglycemic, and it's worst in the afternoon before eating dinner. Will emerge from the gym lightheaded and dizzy, not fun!).

I also find it helps to just physically have something in your hand, such as a waterglass. It's reassuring. It's a trick I use at parties - keep a glass of water in your hand. I find it deters me from picking up food just to have something to do with my hands.
My goal is to be 199. I was sooo close last time and I gained it all back. I would love to reach Onderland. I also want to workout at least 5 days a week for 30mins.
Wow! You ladies are crazy! 8 pages already... I will never catch up!
Anyway...I am back. And this is my attempt to be a better Blue team member this time. I have already logged my exercise for this week and posted my weigh in sheet.
QOTD: My goal for this challenge is to lose 20 lbs and to post more!
BJeweled - Look at you! I think this is the first time i've seen your pic. You look amazing! Keep on doin' what you're doin'!
Wow....this is crazy....I don't know how I will get caught up. I'll just start right here and answer both questions today.
