At least yours was canceled. DH couldn't get into my van this morning and they expect me to drive 20+ miles, one way, on back roads for preschool. Not going to happen today.

I woke up before the alarm was supposed to go off and at one point did reset it for an hour later. I laid there for a few minutes and decided to get up anyways. I have an issue with working out when DH is home and he was still here this morning but I got up and did my video anyways.

After an unfortunate encounter with strawberry shortcake in the late night hours I am now enforcing a 3 bite rule.

Have a great day and drink your water. We need a better drinking water smilie.

Oh man! I hate when those rouge strawbery shortcakes sneek up on you in the middle of the night. I usually have to stab em repeatedly with a fork to make them go away...

just remember...Strawbery Shortcake murder has its consequenses too! Don't do the crime if you can't do the time

And, it is hard time, too!

Today is my first weigh-in. I'm starting off with a 3.4 pound loss.

Disgruntledone - Is that a margarita in your hands?

I would love (and need!) an exercise challenge.

Have a great on-plan day. Go Blue!

Noticed this as well but was afraid to "call it out" I'm with you though Disgruntled, I got my game on.

Like I posted in my other challenge thread It is the 1st Monday of 2009. What are you gonna do with it?

Jillians 30DS has already made me cry today, but I did it. BF quote of the day ~ "You're freaking serious about this weight loss thing aren't you?" Darn tootin brother! No time like the present to shed the shell of fear, comfort and lack of self control that I have been dragging around for 8 years. I am dang serious... you best start saving your cash for some bling!

And on that note... I am off to make some cash of my own. Worky, worky. I'll check back later!

I think that if you need to rest... you need to rest.... guzzling fluids and all that stuff.. BUT Sweating also helps clear the sickness out of ya! Even a walk! Or a quick 20 minute SOMETHING that makes you sweat. Sometimes exercising through the grossness of being sick helps. Just remember to be careful and don't wear your body out. The way i look at it is if im too sick to eat much, Im too sick to exercise much.. JMO Be careful and I hope you feel back on track soon!!

Im so pumped for this challenge, guys! Im soo ready! I went to be at 212 pounds by march 15 when DH comes home for r and R leave from deployment. i think it's possible if I WORK MY BUTT OFF! hehe 212 pounds will mean i'm at my 100 pound lost mark

I have added having herbal tea every morning before breakfast to my routine. Im thinking it was a good idea. Makes me feel good whether it's actually physical or just a placebo effect in my brain! lol

Good Morning!

Spent yesterday afternoon getting organized for staying op. Washed lunchbox, cleaned out purse so I would have room for food and journal and inspirational reading. Dug out pedometer, etc.

Wrestled around on floor this a.m. with ex ball. But finally managed to get some moves in. Have to go to Walmart at lunch. Planning on a few laps around the store before shopping.

Gotta go get ready for work.

a quickie here coz I'm soon off to my Zumba class

fauxtini - we spent about 2 weeks driving all around Nova Scotia in Aug. '07. Loved it and I have some beautiful photos to remind me of it. We started in Halifax and then drove all around spending a few days/evenings in Baddeck, Pictou and Lunenberg.

It was a memorable trip and we had a great time!!

Morning chica bonitas!

It's about 9:00 here and I'm wide slam awake. Today was my first morning getting up at 6 am and hitting the treadmill. I didn't think I could do it and I was so close to give up about 15 mins in, but I had to keep telling myself that it was only 15 more mins, 10 more mins etc etc and I could push through. I'm not running yet (1. I haven't exercised in forever 2. I have knee issues) but I'm at least a fast power walker.... I believe Dee calls it wogging.

I've had my breakfast and I've brought my lunch and snacks with me. The food part I have down I think since I've planned for at least up to Friday. I also started a household budget while on vacation so I have more money for groceries now, where as before we would go weeks at a time without going to the store.

Totally forgot to introduce myself...

I'm Michelle and I'm the coordinator of all this shenanigans. While I'm taking this round off from weighing in and etc, I'm working on dieting and losing weight without the weigh in part of the challenge so I can come back next round and kick butt. So for this round I'll be your resident I've been in umpteen million of these things and a lot of your team mates have been with me for awhile. I'm 23 (I'll be 24 in March ) and I live in the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. I work full time as an office manager for a small company and just graduated last year with 2 Associates degrees in Business Management & Accounting Administration. I like things like art and designing stuff and I recently started dabbling in photography. (More specifically photographing my food so beware of my food porn! )

What does "On Plan" mean to me?

Right now, since I just started my plan 5 days ago, my goal is to stick with my menus. My biggest hang up was fast food and I'm ignoring that all together. is not even in my atmosphere anymore. My calorie intake is about 1400 a day which is down from about 2500-3000 a day ( yea... it was baaaad!) and so far I've come in about 30-50 calories under my goal for the past few days.

I'm going to try and start getting up earlier in the mornings as a routine to get on the treadmill. Granted its only 30 minutes but its better than nothing.

It is the 1st Monday of 2009. What are you gonna do with it?

Today's my first day back at work in 11 days, so at the moment, I'm going to try and survive end of the year bookwork.

I'm Jen and I'm 28 years old. I have a wonderful hubby and a very active 2 year old boy. This is my 3rd Biggest Loser Challenge and I'm hoping third times a charm. My first challenge I lost 19 lbs, but the next challenge I gained it all back and then some. I'm back for a third time and I plan to ROCK this challenge. I'm thrilled to be back with the Blue Team and can't wait to "meet" all of you!

OP for me means:
1. Staying within my points (WW)
2. Doing some form of exercise at least every other day, but try to do something every day.
