Merry Christmas Everyone!!!

Well, my lasagna and manicotti were a hit at my in-laws with two big pans totally gone!!! Same with the tiramisu. I ate well, but didn't feel bloated, though I didn't scrimp either. I think I'm going to be up about 3-4 lbs from my very last weigh-in - which I can live with because i know eating patterns will definitely change after the new year.

MJ - enjoy being spoiled - boy I was getting jealous reading about how well you're cared for. Take it all in and you'll be back in work-out condition in no time.

Zinke - good to see you back!!!

Welcome newcomers.

Weigh-in is just a couple of days away

See you in the funny papers

Dora

Merry Christmas everyone. I am up a pound and a bit from ticker but that is okay. If I can make it through the holidays without too much of a gain I will be ok. Tomorrow I am going back to the gym!

One family gethering down, one to go. I don't even want to look at the scale these last few days. Too much food, too little focus, and too many goodies. Let me get through Saturday and then it's back to serious work.

I am not looking forward to seeing the scale when I get back home... BUT I did make the conscious decision to allow myself to be off plan for these 4 days (25/26/27/28) and then get seriously back OP.

The fun I'm having with my family, and the joy I'm getting from just stopping when full, instead of agonizing over every bite, is all totally worth whatever gain I might have.

Happy holidays everyone! Can't wait to get started again!

Hey Everybody! Happy Holidays!

I have been taking a much needed BREAK from counting calories and exercising. I am *kind of* looking forward to getting back to it though and starting a new challenge. This will be my 3rd challenge (I have been once BLACK, one once RED). I haven't weighed myself in over a week, and can't believe that we'll be weighing in for the next challenge NEXT WEEK!
Hope everyone is doing well. I'm looking forward to hearing from old friends and meeting new ones!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas. I did not weigh myself today and I don't think I will until I have to for this challenge LOL. I am sure I am up at least 2 pounds but I am back to the gym today so maybe I can get it back under control before I sneak a peek at the scale

I just have to survive my anniversary (30th) and NYE which we have tickets for a big party - I am going to have to get a lot of exercise in quick!

I hope everyone had a good Christmas.

Today I found out that something is wrong with Leonidas' hips. My baby is in pain and my heart hurts so much! Surgery is expensive but the only other option is to put him down.....I can't do that! Leonidas is my baby and the only one I can shower my love on unchecked. I love him and if I have to work three jobs, I will to make him better!

Please, could yall send some thoughts/prayers for him?

JasonsLea & Leonidas

I'm up about 4 pounds from where I ended the last challenge. Not good, but not terrible either. I've been taking a break like you Beth. And like you I'm looking forward to getting back into the grooves.

Hi I'm one of the newbies, for this next challenge, I really need this. I look forward to meeting all of you and just chat.

A little bit about me, I'm currently on WW, lost over 70lbs, since May '07, right now hanging on by a thread, still staying on plan, for the most part, had a few, errors in judgment, but....this time of year is so hard. I do look forward to starting this challenge, I also know I never want to go back to my old weight, EVER...

Looking Forward to 2009

Happy Holidays to everyone who celebrates! I had a huge post yesterday, but as I hit "submit reply" our new router decided that it wasn't going to connect anymore, so I apparently lost it.

We had a great Christmas, very quiet and low key, and relaxing. And Santa took 3 pounds with him when he left!

I did some shopping yesterday, both at the stores and in my closet. I bought 4 new shirts for work for $15, that's $3.75 each, that's just crazy prices. When I came home I got all inspired to sort thru my closet and dressers, and I now have a couple of piles to donate. And the best thing of all....I have no more "skinny clothes" in the house. You know, it's that stash of clothes that you hold onto thinking that someday they might fit again? All of my skinny clothes, barring one dress in my "goal" size, fit. As of this morning, I am smaller than I have been since I got married over seven years ago.

DH wants to got out to breakfast this morning, uuggh! I'm going to sneak out to the gym first, and then come back and wake him up. I know myself, if I wait until after breakfast to work out, I will talk myself out of it. I have to do it first thing, and I like "my" gym crowd. It funny, they opened late yesterday, so there was a odd mix of people, my 5am crowd plus the 6ers, 7s' and 8's. Some of those folks are STRANGE! This one woman was side galloping down the hallway with weights in her hands, and she would side step and fling the weights up above her head. I thought she was going to kill someone with the way she was flailing about.

Well it's 430 am, and since I can't sleep, I got up to clean the house before going to the gym. I just heard the washer shut off, so it's time to go shuffle laundry.

I hope everyone has a great ON PLAN day!!!

I am so ready for Holiday celebrations to be over. I have one more today, with another big dinner. I am taking most of the Christmas cookies to get them out of my house. I need to get back on track. My scale is up almost 5 pounds in the last 2 weeks.

Can't wait for the next challenge to start. Although at this point, posting my weight will not be fun. Oh well, it is what it is. I guess I'll just start high.

Good morning everyone! I'm back home from spending a few days at my sister's house with her two kids, and I'm actually really glad to have a couple more days of just sitting at home and getting things organized before getting back to work Monday. I went to my WW meeting this morning and was up a half pound - not bad considering my sister aspires to be a professional pie maker and I make the best chocolate chip cookies ever!

I'm going to poke around for some new recipes to try, plan out the week, and go grocery shopping. Must halt this upward trend and get going in the right direction again! I am committed!

Hope everyone has enjoyed a couple of days of rest and relaxation! Now it's time to get off our butts! Like Jaime I'm cooking and organizing today and taking my new garmin out for it's debut run (or waddle based on how I'm feeling today!). I hope you all have a great day!

Jasonslea - Best wishes for a quick and full recovery.
