Yea!! Congrats Melissa on your high honors!
Hey ladies I'm still having trouble keeping up with the threads but I'm here. I'm leaving tomorrow night for a wedding (at the beach woo hoo) over the weekend. I shudder to think of all the posts I'll miss! I haven't been great with the exercise this week but my food is okay so at least I've not gone all to ****. My plans are to hit the gym tonight and tomorrow before I leave. I also plan on getting a walk in on the sand over teh weekend- work those calves! It's kinda funny in the past I would've worried about about pigging out over the weekend but now I'm worried if they'll be enough food (vegan) I'll eat! |

Morning Ladies! I got an hour of exercise in this morning. I'm still struggling foodwise, but I'm trying.
Melissa-I love you graduation pix. You look great! I'm sure you got the job too. They wouldn't keep calling just to say,"Sorry." HoosierHeather-Awesome job on the workout. It's hard to get a workout in when you've got kids home all day. Have fun at the Science Museum. Tina-Way to go on Cathe! She's one tough lady. I don't think I've ever made it completely through one of her workouts. Karen-I hope you start feeling better soon. |

Godd Morning Team Mates,
Just stopping in to say hello. Things are crazy for me right now. Major job drama for husband, last week of school for my daughter and still trying to catch up with new duties at work and on top of everything else plenty of band camp stuff to do. Oh well, trying to hang in here but it is very hard to have time to get on the Internet and plus I want to eat all the time due to stress! I miss y'all! My oldest son was home last weekend for Mothers Day, which was great but he announced he may not be moving home after graduation because we won't let him play video games. This from a college graduate? He still has a few classes this summer and I guess we'll see what happens. |
Aww thanks girls! Those sandles are so adorable I just love em!! I feel so sexy wearing them too! But the heel was so spiked I was sinking into the grass so I couldnt wear em at my party LOL! In the one pic I'm almost flatfooted they are so sunk in!
Heather...I hope you have a fantastic time while you are away!!! You've got some great plans for success going in! We'll see you when you get back! |

Thanks Karen...oh job news. She called this morning, the job was down to me and someone else and they gave it to the other person because it was a temp job with very little turnover and they felt with me having a family and graduated that it would hold me up. But, the reason she was calling was because she was "just so impressed" with me that she wanted my permission to forward my resume to the other corporations in the family of corporations that are all owned by the same people. I said SURE! So, it might end up working out in the end. I wasnt thrilled with the temp part anyway but was willing to get my foot in the door!

I have brothers like that with their video game addictions....lol...does he sleep with the controllers too? lol....maybe he will come to his senses...:) Well, we are out to the property again today....a big water truck got stuck :) last week, so the road is pretty rutted up...if you dont hear from me in a few days, you will know I am sock-less in a clay mudhole again! lol Im a little weary just thinking of going out there, with all the unpacking, cleaning, and de-mousing I ll have to do! :( oh well, "you can do anything in 15 minutes" is how i try to do things! (taken from flylady-awesome site...) Also, my brilliant dogs ran away yesterday, when i took them out to the country road to 'run' them....drove around for 2 hours (with my kids) looking for them....my dog has done this before, so i have my ph number on his collar, once he was 25 km away, and another time, out at the airport! I thought with our 'new' dog (a friends) he would stick around....guess not. hoping i will find them today... dont know when i will get to workout today, I am so competetive, i dont want to miss a week of badges!!lol i sort of have a food plan... am-yogurt(1/2 plain/-1/2 flavoured) oatmeal w raisins, cinn., almonds lunch-ww pancake, turkey saus., 1 egg (hubby works shiftwork, and LOVES breakkie) supper-leftover moose roast,potatoes and veg. snacks-kashi crackers, apple, strawberries, carrots,protein shake H20-plan - 10 big glasses today...did 6 yesterday-not enough!! (i also drink herbal tea, and some 100 %juice) |
