I don't know anyone with PTSD but I've been a psych major so I can understand theoretically at least. Have you tried counselling...where they can probably teach you how to cope and live with someone who has ptsd? Living under so much stress can't be easy for you. :hug: |
Ok need to get my butt in gear with this exercise thing. I feel like it's hard to find time to get it done, but I know that's just an excuse. Hubby has been working late so I can't do my C25K with Nate (my very active 19 month old) running around. Does anyone have any other suggestions for exercise that I could do keeping him in mind? I also had a pretty bad night last night eating. I do recognize now that I ate poorly because I let the stress of running around and having to do everything last night with a cranky toddler get to me. I don't know how to change the emotional eating part. I'm fine most of the time, it just when I'm extra stressed or emotional. Any thoughts?

Arrrrghhh, the neighbors keep putting their trash can on my lawn! SERIOUSLY! Put it on your OWN lawn if you can't find curb space in front of your house (which they have they just must like not having there or something!)!!! So this morning when I came back from my run I saw they had put it on my lawn and I moved it OFF MY GRASS THAT I WORK VERY HARD TO MAINTAIN and out onto the curb/edge of road. Then about 1 hour later I go out front with the mower to cut the grass, and they had moved it back on my grass. WTF!?!?! I don't get people. Can't they have any consideration for others? OK, rant over. |

Hi Blues. How is it all going? I have definitely upped my usual amount of exercise to try and get a badge! This is good for me; I have been hovering around the same weight for months. This is probably the push I needed to break the pattern and start losing again. I haven’t yet lost anything this week but it isn’t my weigh in day for a couple days so fingers crossed!
I just saw we won the challenge!! Yay Blues!! And the biggest loser! We are on our way! Congratulations missingmyerica! I am sorry I didn’t drop much weight. I am hoping to see more weight dropping in the coming weeks. |

I was planning to get on my treadmill for an additional 30 minutes so I could have 80 yesterday..didn't happen. I'm an early riser and planned to use that to my advantage but this morning I just stared at the clock. So tonight I need to go home and do 80 minutes or oops I figured out I need to do 81 minutes of exercise for the next 5 days to hit my minutes. We shall see. |
I'll have any cabana boys I haven't posted up in a bit... trying to get the other teams done before my boss comes upstairs :eek:
BTW... did I mention I got a 96 on my test last night? I'm kicking business law in the ***! :D |
OMG...I can't believe I missed the first weigh-in!!!
I was away for the weekend, came down with the flu, took my dd to her basketball banquet last night, and then came right home and went to bed! Sorry ladies...but looks like you did just fine without me this week! I haven't gotten much exercise in lately....being away since Thursday afternoon hasn't helped, and then to be sick. I plan to start back tomorrow morning with regular cardio again...I want one of those badges!! Hope everyone has a great day Chellez...thanks for creating that awesome chart!! |
