Good evening...Just checking in - there is no way I can keep up with these threads!
I am still going to boot camp and it is still kicking my butt. It is good, though, a good butt-kickin'. I weigh in in the morning. Honestly, I am not expecting a huge loss...it has been a stressful week. My husband's summer job fell through and we REALLY need for him to have some income this summer...please keep that in your prayers. Anyway, as long as I have a loss I will be happy! :) Have a great couple of days! |
Tonia - sorry that your husband's summer job fell through. As someone living off her savings at the moment, I do understand. :hug: I hope he finds something soon.

I can't keep up with the challenges inside the challenge or the personals right now, but in a week or two things will be different! That being said, I am 100% on plan and losing weight and inches still. :carrot:

I have a special reason to celebrate, I am done with classes at SDSU finally and forever! SJSU here I come! With finding the apartment, and also a summer job, and graduation, I feel like the universe is making things fall into place and everything will be okay. I'm a little nervous because the apartment is more than we can afford: we might have to charge our groceries until my student loans come in in the Fall, but it is worth it to have our own place to live. I keep looking at the pictures of our new place, I'm so excited. I called today and got the utilities set up. Here I come!!! No exercise to speak of, I test weighed myself today (tomorrow is my weigh in day) and I was up by less than a pound. That may change tomorrow though because we ate at Pick Up Stix for dinner. Sleep with the gods! |
btw, I don't think my new place will allow bbq's. My old standby for easy dinners is grilled chicken with salad. How long/at what temp do you bake boneless skinless chicken breasts?

Just want to check in. I'm in Denver for a conference and busy until Tuesday, but I've kept my pedometer on and have been hoofing it on the sidewalks as much as I can. Hopefully when I get back I can catch up with everyone - on a new thread maybe???

Hello... I'm about to go to sleep now... Today was kinda off schedule...I usually work out while my DD takes a nap but she slept in the car as I needed to go buy couple of things. So I didn't have time for that. By the time she went to bed, I felt so...kinda disgusting. This weekend is supposed to be my TOM, I think that had something to do with it, too. But it's been awhile since I haven't had any workout and it just didn't feel right. I was also hungry but just didn't feel like eating. Then I crabbed some cake my bf made and it surely made me feel better. It's weird to feel weird and even disgusted about not working out because I used to HATE working out. . .
Well, after my DD fell asleep for the night, I went for a walk to CVS with my bf. Then after that, I did about 55 minutes of TransFirmation. Now I feel SOOO much better. Well, my DD's daycare is going to a zoo tomorrow so I sure will be able to walk a lot which will be great. I better get going so I can at least get some sleep and then make some lunch for the field trip. |
Heya all - just wanted to check in. I go to the doctor's today for the first time since I started Weight Watchers. She was the one pushing me to go, and I hope she'll be proud of 20 or so pounds that I've lost. I know I am.

I'm feeling frisky enough today to go for a walk. I feel like I'm starting over with the exercise part of my plan. Better late than never though, right? Staja, I have a doctor's appointment this coming Tuesday and hope I will have lost some weight from on year ago. This is a yearly gynecological exam and I honestly don't remember what I weighed last year. All I do know is that I continued to gain weight as the year progressed and I didn't begin Weight Watchers until March 25th of this year. I'm sure your doctor will be very excited for your weight loss!!! Hope everyone has a great day! |

Just wanted to check in. Last two weeks were awful for me :( first I got terrible cold and felt very weak and ate a lot of honey, and when I finally got better, TOM was there :( I have terrible college situation, ton of exams, and I was totally off plan :( good thing is, I haven't gained any weight :) but still, I feel like a failure, because I could lose at least 5 pounds and I didn't :( |
Oolong: I think it's great that you didn't gain any weight! I know how you feel though, I just weighed in and was up .06 lbs from last week. I felt like I did okay, I averaged 1759 cals, which should have still given me atleast a 1 lb weight loss. I didn't do much exercise, though, and I ate waaaay too much salt and didn't drink enough water. So, I am going to try to do things right this week and look for a better number. Maybe you will have a better week, too.
Hello to everyone else! I am happy to say....... :carrot: :bravo::cp::cb::hat::dance::high::encore::woohoo:: cheer3::cheer2::congrat::broc::cheer: .......that I am officially done with my undergraduate program! Yesterday, I turned in my last bit of work for classes and now all that is left is graduation (next Friday). I am sooooo happy and excited. I'm worried about graduation, though...I already didn't lose any weight this week, I am afraid of next week. I've got out of town guests that I am cooking for this next week, I tried to make it healthy stuff but I also wanted to make it as cheap as possible so I don't know. Then going to Seaworld for a day. Then my graduation party but that will be okay because I am making all the food and making sure it's healthy for the most part. Then we are going to the zoo, which will possibly be more bad food choices. I am going to try not to gain any weight but I am worried. Have a great day everyone! |
trooworld: bake chicken at 350 for about half an hour or so..depending on if you are cooking it alone or in a casserole.
btw, I, too, have considered going to grad school in the Library Media program. I love the idea, actually, but I am not quite ready to go back to school...best of luck to you, though! |
