Hey everybody!
Just wanted to check-in and see how everyone is doing. And to share some amazing news! :D I lost another 1.5 lbs and I ran my very 1st 5K this weekend too! :carrot: I do most of my training on my treadmill and have never managed to finish under 39 mins. So, I was more than excited when I looked up and saw 30:25 on the clock as I crossed the finish line. :dizzy: BEST FEELING EVER!! Congrats to all the other 5K-ers who gave it their all over the weekend! :bravo: Ok...so on to this week. I'm just finishing up TOM and feeling run down. But, I'm looking forward to kicking some butt this week. I've been doing great staying OP and plan to add more weight training this week. Plus, I want to decide on when my next 5K will be so I can stay motivated. The scale alone has just never done it for me. That's it for now...more later. |
Monique~
Congrats on your time! You were really moving! I don't know if I can get down to that time, but you inspire me! |
Hi Everyone,
I'm so happy to say that I have lost 1.4 lbs this week! I have not been able to exercise due to my work schedule and most especially because I have been recovering from being sick a couple of weeks ago. I'm tickled to know that staying on plan with my eating has been so successful this week! The only downside is now my weight watchers points per day is 26 from the 27 it was before weighing today.;) Off to work I go now! Good luck to everyone this week and contratulations on your very hard work. :carrot: |
Well just wanted to drop in to say Hello to everyone. Haven't been able to log on since yesterday morning and wow we have been busy I need to read like 4 pages to catch up, of which I will try to do tonight before logging off.
Wow that is all I can say is WOW to those that did 5K over the weekend that is awesome, I shall get there some day.... Well have a goodnight everyone |

For those 5Kers, wow! I am so impressed! You guys are inspiring. Today was a good day eating wise but not exercise wise. I did get some walking done but not much. Tomorrow, I swear, I will atleast ride the bike for 30 minutes. Hope all are well! |
Ahh Monday.. Well, my Monday actually starts on Sunday night because my work schedule is Sun-Thur. Well, I lost 2.4lbs giving me 8.4 more to go till my mini-goal.
So I see lots of 5Kers and was wondering what it really was. So I googled it and sounds interesting..very interesting, although I've never been a runner. I do TransFirmation and 10 Minute Solution.. I do get cardio and do strength with those two dvd and additional strength at a circuit training place, I haven't been doing any running or walking. well, I already got a iPod, so I think I'm going to try to download Robert Ullrey podcast and start it this week. The weather has been NASTY here in Detroit area, and I don't have access to treadmill so I'm not sure how/what to do..maybe I will do it at home like WATP? :P |
Hello everyone!!
Today I weigh in (not official but for another mini-challenge on this site).. And it showed 149, I am under 150.. It feels really great!! Now I am going to do some workout, I have to win a badge this week to :).. |

Wow all you 5kers! I'm so proud!!! I don't yet have the nerve to even attempt one of those, but it's something I'd love to do sometime!
The results have been posted on the results page! We're still losing.... that's always a good thing....lol. Congrats to SoulBliss who was our Biggest Loser for this week. TOM is expected in one week or less... so I'm hoping I will be able to break even for this week. As blueyedgirl said about breaking even on TOM instead of gaining 3 pounds - I hope to do that too. I usually have a strong 2 pound gain with TOM. Last month - I broke even. So, I'll be happy to do that again this month. :crossed: I hope you all have truly wonderful days today!!!! I'll be back on later! |
Well yesterday turned out to be a flop for me. My kids are all feeling better now though so back on the plan we go! Goal today MOVE and DRINK!
I love lists and have to have one or else nothing gets done so I thought I would post it here. I usually over book my list so that I don't have an excuse to not do something and what ever I don't get done today gets put to the top of tomorrow's list plus what I would have normally added and Saturday becomes my catch up day. :write: = completed for today :sunny: = worked on as much as I could but will carry over My Check List Today: :write: Dishes :write: Dust :write: Sweep/Mop/Vac. :write: De-clutter Desks De-clutter Room De-clutter Kids Toy Room :write: De-clutter Kitchen :write: Laundry Box up Winter Clothes :write: Yoga :write: Walk/Run Drink 3 32 oz jugs of Water :sunny: Rake my piles into One :sunny: Dig up Weeds in Front Approach |
Crap, crap, crap. I see that I missed an opportunity to post my unposted exercise minutes from week two. When I looked, the thread was locked and now I missed Michelle catching up. Dang it all because I would have just barely made it to the beach. Sigh. Sorry guys for being a bozo and not getting that badge earned for the team.
But I will this week. And the scale is looking friendlier this morning so that helps too. |
Terri, I just didn't start posting in the exercise threads even though I do 90 minutes on most days. Since I didn't make it from the beginning, I don't feel like being part of it at all. I didn't know about that being part of the competition too, I thought it was going to be like in the past. Ah, well.
Here's an inspiring email I received. If you don't believe in "God" replace that with something else and it still feels really true, wise and good. Take the first step "When we take one step toward God, he takes seven steps toward us." -- Hindu Proverb If our ego is to know spirit, we must make the first move. Spirit does not come down and knock on our door. It sits waiting for us to acknowledge it. We must want to change and take the initiative and persevere. The love of spirit will embrace us. But we must take the first steps. In what areas of your life are you ready for change? What step can you take to open the door to new possibilities? It starts with you. 'Faith is not complacent; faith is action. You don’t have faith and wait. When you have faith, you move." -- Betty Eadie "It is not my business to think about myself. My business is to think about God. It is for God to think about me." -- Simone Weil |
