Stayed on track yesterday and today the scale was down 2..
I have been holding water..Ankles are fat..I do take a water pill daily and even took 2 a couple of times with no help..Those carbs can sure mess your body up..
Going to a rehab today in hopes of getting my knees back to working after 2 replacements 3 months apart.
Thanks ,LUlu, I am in-charge with what I eat also......

Yesterday I worked hard to not give in to bad choices. I wrote on the other forum, it really helped coming here, reading your posts and going to the GOAL and MINI goal section of the forum where there are before and after pics. Very motivating! I am going to run to the forum again next time I feel tempted to give in to bad food choices. It worked for me!

So I guess it is my turn to come crawling back then? I saw that Sue has been struggling, futurehealthyme has a new name, and lulu is restarting atkins. Makes me feel kinda better that I have been sliding further and further out of weightloss mode since August. I am back though!

However, I am not really doing low carb for right now... can I still stay with y'all anyways?

I calculated how much my husband and I spent eating out between 9/1 and 12/15 and it was $2900 plus groceries (not a ton cause we ate out so much, but a fair amount) We both agreed we needed to get on track better with food and money and that we don't want to think about what to eat at the end of the day. So we are going to try Nutrisystem. hopefully if we are spending that much on a program we will stick to it.

My official day 1 weigh in of getting on track was yesterday so I will use that as my SW. My NS food should arrive friday so Saturday is my first weigh in for them, then I am supposed to weigh weekly so I will use those dates for this thread

PIXI!!! Welcome back!!! So exciting to see old and new joining the threads!!! Good for you on nutrisystem!! I read something recently that said no matter what plan you pick as long as you are consistent you will see results!!

Not great on plan yesterday but I am a work in progress!!

Day 2: refining Atkins...I always stumble the first few days before I get focused...true confession!!

Re-reading both my Atkins books and sugar free jello ready in the fridge!!

Well another day..I am feeling really good about starting new for the new year.Even the new join-in with my postings starting over makes it feel fresh..Anew group of others that slipped a little gives me a renewed strength.
I was feeling like such a failure all alone and gaining back what I lost (NOT AGAIN)..I have done it thousands of times over the years..OK enough of that..

Dont worry Kerri, you are so not alone! my weight loss journey has been like this:

2006: 316 lost to 260 before falling off the wagon

2010 to now: 320 lost to 240 gained to 260 lost to 222 gained to 245 lost to 212 gained to 220 lost to 202 gained to 265 lost to 225 gained to 267

maybe this time it'll stick for both of us!

Lulu- thanks for the welcome! Hopefully it will work well enough, my body doesn't seem to care much about macros as long as I watch my calories.

Happy New Year!! Last year I was at 178 after Christmas so I hate that I am above that right now!! 178 was my lowest adult weight the first time I did Atkins 12 years ago and I feel successful living below 178 - right now I am bloated and icky so eating clean is essential!!
