    lulu you can do it! elliptical and no alcohol!

    my elliptical date fell through yesterday. Was supposed to go after work but my best friend was having a meltdown so I went to her place for a few hours instead of right to the gym. Then when I stopped home to grab some food before going to the gym DH was having a meltdown from work stress! At that point I gave up lol

    So gym TONIGHT! After I get off work @5. gotta do it. I should be going now but it is 19 degrees and I don't want to leave my warm apartment before I ABSOLUTELY have to. AND I don't want to be walking across campus with wet hair cause if I go before work I would have to shower there.
  • Happy Friday!! A few bumps but made it through the week!! On plan yesterday - Yahoo!! Today chicken and salad for breakfast - sounds odd but it's what I had available!! Go to salad for lunch - grocery day so not sure what dinner is yet! I feel really great about my changes this week - now I have to stick to it!! The bloat is gone but the the scale is the same!...so my clothes feel better today!

    I have been pretty good all week but it is such a struggle to get even 1 lousy pound off and the older ya get the harder it gets....
  • I guess it's safe to say ALL of New Year's water weight gain is now gone! I am thrilled with my loss this week. The past few weeks my losses were minimal compared to what I'm used to, but it was also the holidays.

  • Happy Saturday!! Yahoo another on-plan day and exercise!! Of course, I've been on plan for a few days and expect the scale to start whirling down which it is not...ahhh reality check!! Did a lot of less than healthy eating during December so it is what it is!! Eyes on the prize! Best wishes for an on-plan day!!

  • I'm a little late to the party, but I would love to join in!! A little background:I mostly hang out in the 100 pound club; my highest weight was 319 in July 2011 and I got down to 170 in July 2013; fell off the wagon and got up to 257 when I started on Atkins in September and have lost over 40 pounds since.

    My goal is to lose 10 pounds per month and I weigh in on Mondays.

  • Happy Saturday to you too!! Sadly I did not make it to the gym lulu, wednesday my best friend freaked out so i went to her place after work, thursday I had a horrible headache, and yesterday I spent all day running errands and when I was done I just wanted the couch lol. My normal routine for the semester starts monday and the gym is planned from 8ish-9ish mon-thurs. the following week the exercise classes restart and I wanna try for 2-3 of those a week too.

  • Happy Sunday!! And you guessed it more exercise, low carb and no alcohol!! Feeling good about my choices!! Today bacon, eggs, salad and steak tips are on the menu! 22 days on the elliptical!! I've logged into myfitnesspal for 444 days straight!! It didn't stop me from regain but it did help me turn it around. I have to admit I was getting a little worried that I couldn't stop myself!!
