Good Morning,
Welcome Ames!

I held all weekend which is ok after having a cocktail last night. Went to the theatre. Wonderful. Then out to dinner. Organic cheeseburger, sautéed broccoli Rabe with Brussels sprouts. And a cocktail. We were celebrating. I was surprised to be back in ketosis by bedtime, but just trace.

Start of the new week. Want to be at least to 148 this week, hopefully more. I have a couple of business lunches this week to get through so. Will have to be careful.

Hi everyone,

The weather is so strange. We desperately need rain. It will be in the 70's the later part of the week. The trees are all confused.

I think if I'd just have a good poop I'd get closer to my goals. I'll say prayers to the BooM Princess.

Lulu, sorry about your pet.

Good Morning Everyone!!!
I hurt my knee over the weekend walking. So Im not walking right now.. Well I can walk. but If I go over a slow walk, I feel a little pain. Swelling is gone thou..
I have been drinking at least 8 glasses of water/or tea a day! I was drinking 1 8oz soda and 1 cup of tea a day.. So I really kicked my water intake up.
The scale seems to be moving up. argh. But I have not thrown in the towel yet. I have cut peanut butter OUT of my diet.
Sticking back to more protein eggs, and some cheese.. I have to get this diet working again!

You ladies do encourage me.. Thank you!!

Have a wonderful day!

Rebelle... I am happy for your lovely scale this morning.. but I am so sorry about your water/plumbing troubles and all the hard work you had to do.. Shoot... I am so sorry that that happened.

Ames.. Be careful about your foot/leg. If it hurts, its telling you it needs to heal. You are allowed to take a day off and you will come back stronger

Calee - Oh I know what you mean about a good Poop! I had 4 days without going and yikes. I try to remember to take extra fiber tablets... or Psyllium husk like Rebelle mentioned. It sure does help!

Me... Having a hard time at home. My cat TomTom went to teh vet yesterday and he had 1 1/2 inches of crystals in his duct between his bladder and peepee. Poor thing and when I brought him home (trembling) I turned my TV on and POP! it died (its my most current TV - Flat screen... I have those old bid *ss TV's that are big boxes and are older than 10 years - 15 years and they still work) Sigh... Gonna have to cash in some of my 401K... (Vet was $675 !)

When it rains it pours.. I keep praying our
cars hold out a couple more years... They seem shaky
half the time. just waiting for that other shoe to drop.
we just started to rebuild our 401k! good luck!

Today half day of work.
The scale moved a little bit.. I am not
kidding at all when i say this. But this darn scale
does not move unless I eat 1000 calories or
less? WHY!!!!!!!!!! If I do 1200,1300
I dont lose. Idont gain but i dont lose!!
and right now I am not working out..
Argh.. I been trying to Chug about 40 oz of water after 6 pm.
keeps me full. but my body still whines.
WEll hope everyone has a terrific day!

Sue, I thought you meant, pop, the cat died. Glad it was only he TV. Mine went a couple years ago. It's only time with those big old ones. I loved my Sony 36" more than the new flat screen. Oh well.

Ames, I'm with you on the 1000 calories. Yesterday 1300, 90 minutes exercising and up two ounces this morning.

Rebelle, great on your new number!

Good morning! I'm very happy with my small drop this morning. I had a business lunch yesterday but ordered smart. Tri tip over cauliflower gratin. It said GF so I figured I'd be ok. The horseradish sauce on the meat was fabulous. It was a gorgeous day so we sat on the terrace and I was delighted to sip Pelegrino while sitting in the sun for three hours.

Today I have a 9-5 business meeting. I fear they may bringing sodium laden Subway from next door. I am packing a couple of Quest bars for emergency. I like the new 10 carb bar. Doesn't knock me out of ketosis. I decided just now to also pack a baggie of chicken breast and a few Tri colored mini peppers filled with Jalapeño cream cheese to eat for breakfast while everyone else I munching bagels and cream cheese. The bagels are my nemesis but I'm am so far into ketosis that I don't wnt to give it up. Plus I haven't had wheat in over a month. I have to come to grips with that fact. Wheat is off my food plan.

Thanks for listening.

Have a fun day!
